Well let's just say, I don't give out five stars lightly. Absolutely amazing food and cocktails!! Of course not everything was perfect, but near to it. To run through the evening courses let's start with the opening app and cocktail. The Chips & Dip, house made seasoned chips with a perfect Blue Cheese dip with caramelized shallots, I suggest ordering an extra cup of the dip as there are an abundance of chips. My first cocktail was perfect or shall we say a "Pear-Fect Manhattan". This play on the Manhattan had a hint of pear and was spirit forward. We continued the evening with two sharable plates, the first was the Tenderloin Steak Bites served with a perfect Wasabi Kimchi Sauce. As tender as it was, the steak could have used more seasoning or being marinated in that delicious sauce. The second sharable was the Chile Seared Shrimp, placed atop delicious Cheesy Grits, very yummy. The evening ended with the most amazing dessert and paired cocktail. By all means, do yourself a favor and indulge in the most decadent Butter Cake drizzled in a Bourbon Caramel Sauce paired with a Amaretto Sour cocktail. My friend and I had reservations for Friday night. Once we got there, we were seated right away. I ordered the Tango'd cocktail. It was strong!! I probably wouldn't get that drink again. I ordered the Rib Roast Dip. It was very good. I ate half there and boxed up the other half. the other half was actually better the next day! Stopped in for lunch before a meeting on the north end of town. Got there around 11:30 and were the only table at the time, but definitely was picking up when we left. So many options sounded really good. I ended up with the Sota Hot Chicken sandwich. I loved this choice! It was a bit messy, but delicious. The sauce was a sweet and (Minnesota) spicy. The slaw was also yummy. It was recommended to try the chips and dip. I was actually surprised that the dip was enjoyable, as it was a blue cheese based dip. One slight thing, the restaurant had just gotten a new point of sale system which led to a bit of confusion with our server and checks. Hopefully that gets figured out with time. Ate here for the first time today, we were a group of 6 and had a cute quaint fireplace table. This place is small but very nicely decorated and I saw a gazebo with outdoor seating in the summer. I ordered the Turkey Club and the bread was a Cranberry wild rice made of goodness! Smoked turkey, gouda, garlic aioli, tomatoes, lettuce and pickeled onion, I only ate half but it was so delicious I could have kept going and been miserably full. Chips were dont to perfection, crunchy and delicious along with the home made dip. My Aunt had the shrimp sandwich that I am sorry I did not get a picture of but honestly I swear I heard her moan with each bite. My other Aunt had the Sota chicken bowl and she said it was packed with every amount of goodness with each bite. My fiancé and uncle both had the smash burger and both said all the flavors were present and one of their tops. We were there right when they opened at 11:00 so they were not very busy but the places was filling up with what the waitress (Jackie) called their regulars as we were leaving. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgable about all the menu items and the history of the white rabbit and how it got its name. Top notch food and service and the bathrooms were really cute too. Will definitely be back. Very nice atmosphere even if it's a bit small inside. We had a mixed experience with service - started off really slow, but ended up being OK when all was said and done. As for food, the smoked chicken wings were definitely not my favorite, but I believe it was mostly a preference to a less smoky flavor profile when it comes to wings than anything else. Tried White Rabbit for the first time on Valentine's Day with a reservation for two. The food was excellent, but the service left much to be desired. The spinach cranberry salad was small but packed with flavor--possibly the best salad I've ever had. The burrata platter was also fantastic; whatever cheese they used paired perfectly with the bread. The short rib was tender and flavorful, though the gnocchi could have used a bit more seasoning. For dessert, the butter cake was rich and delicious. We also tried a few drinks from the menu and particularly enjoyed the Old Fashioned. While the food quality was top-notch, the service was frustrating. Two parties seated after us received their first two courses before we did. Our waitress took our salad order three separate times, and we watched as another table got up and left after waiting too long for service from Rachel. Overall, I'd return for the food, but I'd hope for a much better service experience next time. read more

This update is based on finally getting a chance to dine in instead of delivery. The renovated space is very nice; bright and modern, with a neighborhood feel. Note that it is small, so reservations are recommended. They have a full bar and the cocktail list is creative and reasonably priced. My Margarita tasted more like a Sour, but it was good. The wine list is also well thought out. However, my glass of Beaujolais was served very cold and I wasn't sure I got the right wine as 15 minutes later, the bartended showed up with my glass of wine even though I was already half done with the one I already had. What I had was good anyway, once it warmed up a bit. We wanted to have the large Bavarian Pretzel with our drinks, but they were out. Other appetizer options sounded good, but we decided to pass knowing their entrees are pretty filling. My wife had the Smoked Turkey Club, which she said was very good but could have done without the lemon aioli. Their homemade potato chips and dip are excellent. My son order a Margherita Pizza with Sausage added. What he got looked more like the 2 Parts Pig pizza, which was served my someone who was not our server (something I hate at restaurants because having a random server show up means they know nothing about the orders and can't detect mistakes like this one). Once our actual server was informed, she apologized and took the pizza back to the kitchen. Instead of creating the correct pizza, they apparently just threw some sausage on the wrong pizza and re-fired it. My son said it was good, but it wasn't what he wanted. I had the Flat Iron Steak to see how they handled entrees other than their excellent sandwiches. I was a good quality steak with a tasty reduction sauce, but it was a bit undercooked from the Medium Rare that I requested. I was still good. The Mashed Potatoes were nice. The Vegetable Saute was nothing special. We decided to split the Butter Cake with Ice Cream for dessert. It was very, very good, and not heavy. I really can't say enough great things about White Rabbit Kitchen. It starts the moment you walk in the door of this beautiful strip mall restaurant. A gorgeous, bright space with a fun glitter splashed fireplace as a main focal point Naturally I sat at the bar as I always do. The bar is a beautiful white and black marble with about 8 stools. I was instantly greeted by a smiling face and given a water and a menu right away. Both the bartender, Rachael, and the dining server, Heather, made it a point to say hello and welcome me. These two ladies were absolutely incredible. Honestly some of the best service a person could ask for. I was also greeted by one of the owners, Tammy. I ordered the Burrata as an appetizer. The presentation was beautiful. It was absolutely delicious. I also ordered the Sota Chicken Sandwich on the bartender's recommendation and it was a great rec. This place is a hidden gem in a strip mall in Andover. Met a friend for lunch. The space is open and bright and not too loud. We ordered the cubano and the club. Both were good sized and came with chips and dip. Chips were homemade and tasty, but could have been a bit crisper. Both served on excellent bread, sourdough for the cubano and wild rice cranberry for the club. I will definitely return to try more. One waitress was handling all the tables so service was a bit slow, but not awful. She was very pleasant. read more

What an amazing place!!!!! I've never been before but I had seen their food trucks around the twin cities. There's a nice little storefront in Andover with a nice parking lot. I ordered the pesto grilled cheese with a side of their chips and dip. All of this is made in house and you can really tell. There is so much love in this food and it shone through- I've never had a better grilled cheese and I doubt I will again until I go back. The pesto grilled cheese also had balsamic poured over the top and it is GENIUS. The chips were cooked there it seems and the dip they serve with them is also very good. This is late but last summer we stopped there and sat in the patio area. Had their pretzel and cheese before and it was the best one I ever had. Everything was fine until I pulled another chunk of the pretzel that was half gone and found the underside was moldy. Yuk! Waitress gave excuse that it was the normal head chef's night off. Huh? What does that have to do with moldy pretzels? Just check your food. Everything else was good. One other time, we sat at the bar area. We orders our food and enjoyed our drinks. My husband and I ate at White Rabbit for the first time this evening for dinner. The actual restaurant has only been open for about 1 month! The esthetic of the restaurant is really cute! We decided to sit at the bar. All the employees were very friendly. Veronica was our bartender, she made an awesome old fashion. I tried the sangria and it was quite tasty. Our food was great!! I caught up with the mobile unit tonight at Elm Creek Brewing Company. I heard about White Rabbit this spring, and I've been looking forward to checking them out, waiting for them to schedule at a public venue near me. Quality ingredients + a trained chef = wonderful food! Every bite of my food was incredible. And everything had a unique twist. Many of the items are made in-house from scratch. And you can certainly taste the difference. This is what I was expecting and hoping for from a real chef operating a food truck. I ordered 2 sides and 1 entrée. My Bavarian Sourdough Pretzel was served warm with a house dipping sauce. Wow - excellent. My Mac & Cheese (made with Gouda) was very good. Last but not least, my Hot Italian Beef Sandwich was wonderful. It had the perfect amount of heat, a nice bite but not over-the-top. It was served with house made chips along with 2 dips, one for the beef sandwich and one for the chips. I had a nice chat with the owner. They opened a brick n' mortar location recently. So, we tried this place for the first time recently, and while the service was great and food tasted good, there was one big issue. I ordered the pork tenderloin with smoked gouda grits that came with some asparagus. My meal consisted of 2 very small pieces of tenderloin, a very small serving of grits, and what appeared to be the bottom halfs of some asparagus. I actually left the restaurant still hungry, which has only happened to me twice in all the years I've been going out to eat. I don't expect to leave a restaurant with a leftover box full of food, but I shouldn't leave hungry either. I was a bit hesitant to come only back because our first visit was so amazing, but I'm glad we did--this time was just as incredible, if not better! Haley was our server again, and she truly has a way of making you feel right at home. Her smile and personality can turn any day around. The food was outstanding. I had the steak bites this time, and they were absolutely delicious. My wife ordered the meatloaf special, which may be the best meatloaf we've ever had.
