I love coming here to sit outside and relax with a coffee. I got a dirty chai, which is one of my favorites in town. I typically have to ask other coffee shops for more oatmilk due to being too strong, but not here! I did get a pumpkin loaf and realized it was almost $5 for a tiny bread. I still got it, but it was really pricey. Everyone is friendly. The location is in a nice peaceful area of town, busy, but not loud. Very clean, and free parking everywhere. This was my first time trying WR coffee, and while I had a nice experience, and the staff was friendly, it wasn't anything special. What I ordered: Small peppermint mocha with soy milk ($7) - good, but not as good as Starbucks' version in my opinion. I would have preferred a richer chocolate and peppermint flavor. There is not a lot of seating inside so if you're wanting to get work done maybe pick a different coffee shop. The parking situation is also not the most ideal - not a lot of spots, and they are very tight. If you're nearby give it a try, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back. read more

My drink was fantastic, and the staff was very enthusiastic and kind. I am in from out of town and needed a coffee shop to have a handful of meetings at. It is open until 8pm every day, which was so helpful for my schedule, and was the perfect balance between quiet and lively. The only thing to note is that there is only one table that can fit more than 2 people. I haven't had White Rock coffee in years. We had something going on near Royal Lane this morning. We were headed back to the tollway when what did I see- White Rock Coffee. As we passed it I told hubby to make that Uturn I'm getting coffee. I wanted to try something different so I asked the barrister to make me her favorite iced drink- the hot shot latte with oat milk. Hubby doesn't have a taste for my coffee addiction so he had a frozen hot chocolate with a brownie. He said both were good. No nuts in the moist brownie and not too much ice in the frozen concoction. He was happy. My drink was good but I think I'm going back to the Adam's Bomb next visit. My pumpkin scone was delish. We tried to sit outside but most seats were taken except for a table and chairs in the front- which was dirty. We sat inside which is a small area. If it was crowded it would have felt uncomfortable. Overall the baristas are great and knowledgeable. One overall complaint- our treat cost a bit over 23 dollars. A bit pricey for the size of coffee I got- but-- it was good. The place has incredible service, a friendly environment, great snacks that pair very well with the coffee, all at a reasonable coffee shot price. More importantly they have great coffee and roast it all locally! I had a cortado that was just on point. The temperature, the sweet notes of the coffee without a bitter punch at the end and the velvetness of the milk made it one of the best cortados I've had in a while. If you know the coffee world the proper way to serve a cortado (or espresso) is with a glass of sparking water to help cleanse and neutralize your pallet and guess what? Yup they do that here. This is a cute little coffee shop chain that I have come to enjoy. I appreciate this location because I can usually find parking and get in and out pretty easily. I've never had to wait in a long line or for a long time to get my coffee. The inside is busy but not so much that you can't find a spot to sit. It remains fairly quiet aside from the Christmas music playing and the mostly quiet chatter of the patrons. And the coffee itself is not bitter at all. The espresso is smooth and rich, and the lattes I've tried have all been delicious. I came here today to study and was able to get a perfectly sized corner booth near an outlet. I remained here for several hours watching the buzz of the business in full effect. They manage the peak rush well and are always friendly to the customers. Great coffee shop with multiple locations. We used to go to the lake highlands location but this one is closer to our house and reopened recently after the dallas tornado. Cute atmosphere with some good music playing. Not too loud, plenty of people were studying. As for coffee, pretty affordable and delicious. A solid all around coffee shop! I was recently given some coffee beans from White Rock and thought I'd give one of their shops a try. It seems that this is a newer location as my barista was still in training but still had great service. Very clean inside with a set up that is geared toward a good work environment. You could chill too but there aren't comfy chairs or anything like that. Given the smaller space it seemed like they opted for practicality, which I can't fault them for. There's a fair amount of seating, with two individual seating spaces by the window if you want some separation, a large booth in the back, bar seating against the other window, and an assortment of tables. In regards to the real focus, the coffee, when I visit a shop for the first time I always order a simple drip. This cup was one of the better ones I've had, fairly smooth with some hints of chocolate. If that was my daily drink I would have no complaints. Good thing they offer their own coffee and tea to brew at home heh :) Overall I liked this shop and will definitely come back. read more

The notes were so vibrant and fruity; paired with the packets of honey they provided me with- it was perfect!! For me, if a coffee shop can deliver a great cup of regular coffee, they're a keeper! This is the message I sent my friend later: Oh earlier I ate that little snack box I got from that coffee shop and it was literally the best tasting thing ever. First I ate the quinoa and I was like. The coffee is fresh and delicious, and there's a good assortment of whole beans and food items available, in addition to a variety of seating options if you want to enjoy your cuppa onsite. My goto is the hot latte (even on a hot day), and this place has delivered on my visits. No bitterness, yet retaining a good, deep coffee flavor, they're pleasing to the palate and (if I dare say) good to the last drop. Note that they close at 7 PM, so if you're hoping for that evening drink, get there in time. They've had to run me out both times I've been there. But it's worth the early closing time for this delicious brew, and my whole bean purchases have really tasted great in the French press at home as well. read more

If they do it right, everything else would fall into the right place. But I take a different route this time for some reason. I order their Adam Bomb. I don't know why it's named so. Maybe the owner loves the authentic alcoholic drink. Anyway, it's a concoction of white mocha, vanilla, and cinnamon. The drink is creamy, smooth, and not too sweet. The place is not huge. The simple, but thoughtful, decoration, spacious layout, and the brownish wood-like flooring makes it like a very comfortable and relaxing place to unwind. Since it's off the peak coffee hour, the place is not so busy or crowded. I do see a few people diligently working and studying there. Come by if you're in the area and give it a try. read more

I got the iced white rocker and it is quite different than normal iced latte drinks because of the white chocolate they put in it!
