I could taste the quality and how they had recently roasted the beans. I enjoyed the richness and depth of the coffee beans in the espresso. I also really liked the kougin amann - I feel this is how they should taste; crispy outside, fruity inside, no hassle when I chew and keeps me relaxed. The staff is exceptional - I liked how the owner struck up a conversation with us about where we are from and my friends traveling. The vibes are that of a roastery with massive brick walls like a Brooklyn warehouse with cozy seats, games, and (assuming) art from where they get their beans. I'll be returning :)

The cold brew was smooth and balanced. The chai was perfectly sweetened. The staff were friendly and welcoming, they even guided us to the hidden cafe part in the back. It carried an amazing selections of coffee table books filled with art and photography. This was an amazing find on our trip here with its cozy environment and delicious drinks.

I went to visit their original location on Northwest Hwy. conveniently located right next to the Dallas Police Northwest Division. Shoutout to the White Rock Coffee staff for welcoming us back with open arms, as well as introducing new drinks to us that were of high demand and interest. One, however, that really did catch my eye, was my all time-favorite: the White Rocker, which included two shots of espresso, whole milk, and their signature White Rock syrup. My friend on the other hand, got the Lone Star Latte -- chai with a hint of that White Rock syrup that they put in there as well! Because of their roastery, all of their coffee beans are sourced from local partners and cooked and roasted right here in the heart of Dallas. I'm just really glad that I was able to really catch up with the times that there are, honestly. I'll definitely be back to visit more whenever I'm in the DFW! Y'all have my support! :)

My husband appreciates the art of roasting & brewing coffee, so I wanted to find a cupping or tasting at offered at a local shop during our stay. After doing some research, I learned that Counter Culture offers a free tasting every Friday morning at 10 am at their training center in Dallas. We normally buy their beans at HEB, so I was eager to learn more about the company. The training center itself is modern and cozy, with plenty of natural light to illuminate the glinting espresso machines lined up around the room. The team was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and helped us detect the tasting notes in the blend they offered that morning. The experience was warm and interesting! Ps: Tasting at Ten occurs nation-wide at fellow Counter Culture locations. 30 +years of Single origin, Signature and blends specialty coffee roasting, utilizing indie artists artwork on the packaging, are sampled. I went today Monday June 1, 3:35pm staff was great! Seems they are busy and had a shelf full of online/pick-up orders. I typically walk in and see what they have to offer and buy 5lbs on average. When I asked the lady at the front she gladly went to look, unfortunately they didn't have Colombia in the medium roast, but that makes sense! Colombia is a Hot Hot item! They are also a smaller roastery, I bet it takes the staff plenty of time to get a solid roast for all those different coffees, so I never nag them for not having the coffee. The coffee is great, it's local, best of all, it's fresh. She gave great alternatives to my pallet, as I love a light and medium roast, but I need a large quantity. I got the Ethiopian Guji, usually my second choice, and she packed it right up for me. I was in and out in 5 min. They do sell soaps like someone in the reviews said, but it's just a couple, alongside with a minimal amount of merchandise on their shelves. Long story short, they are people too, and the vibe you give out, is the vibe you'll get right back. I overheard the roaster and it seems they are sweet and passionate about what they do. Monday afternoon staff provided dismissive service…read more.. I've been a customer here for + 5 years, and I genuinely enjoy their coffee beans, which is why I keep coming back. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was disappointing. I called ahead to confirm that my order was ready for pickup, and I was told everything was set. However, when I arrived, the staff member informed me that the order had not been started and that they did not have it available. I told her that was okay and that I was willing to wait. What bothered me most was the customer service. The staff member rolled her eyes, and walked away several times without explaining what was happening. When the coffee bags were finally brought out, she walked away again, I still needed to complete payment and receive a receipt. Despite trying to get assistance, I was ignored until I stopped her and asked directly. I've had mostly positive experiences here with the coffee beans over the years, so this interaction stood out for the wrong reasons. I hope management can provide additional customer service training to ensure customers feel acknowledged and respected.
