Service is always great and fast. This is an express location compare to their normal shop off northwest highway. Their white rocker is inconsistent here. I always get that everytime I go to white rock coffee. Always order it with almond milk. By the time I realize it taste different, I already drove away and don't feel like going back in line and wait. The iced white rocket is less creamy here and I think it taste better creamy. If they have any breakfast strata, get it! It's flakey and delicious. One tip if you're pulling up to drive through, know what you want so you don't hold up the line. Was going to White Rock Lake area and needed a quick coffee, so glad we picked this spot! This location is drive thru only it looks like. The girl helping us was very helpful, we wanted a hot white chocolate mocha (couldn't find it on the menu) and she explained how they made it, we got it without the caramel. Let me tell you, the BEST white choc mocha we've ever had, it was SO good! Wish they had locations more up north but they have a few spread out across the Dallas area. Must try! read more

Today my wife wanted a coffee while we were out shopping and we decided to try White Rock Coffee. We ordered the coffee , paid and then drove away. I received a notification for the charge on my phone only to be shocked that it was $3.00 more than it was suppose to be. I returned to the shop to be told that the additional charge was a tip, which I specifically didn't authorize. It's a shame that the employees feel they obviously aren't paid enough so they need to steal from their customers. read more

Stopped by to get coffee around 6pm, I was confused when no one was answering us through the drive thru speakers. We felt confused as online it says they close at 7pm. All lights inside were on and we saw 2 employees inside which made us more confused and we were wondering on whether we had to get off at the window to try to order as no one was answering through speakers. We waited and parked ready to head to the order window but then we saw the 2 employees take out trash and leave. My partner and I felt so dumb just waiting there and confused. I'm so sad because I love white rock coffee but we were right out ignored. I realize sometimes business close early, however no sign was up to inform customers, and employees were still there to at least respond to us and let us know they were closing up however there was absolutely zero response. We waited there for about 15 minutes feeling dumb, confused and ignored and felt even worse when we made eye contact with the employees as they were leaving and that is how we had to realize they closed and that we had to go elsewhere. The coffee here is pretty good but there's something going on with their espresso shots. I order a lot of double-espressos from this place. Each double espresso costs around $3.50 (not including tip). When you get the double shot however, it weighs out only to about 17-19 grams. That is a single shot weight. Double espresso shots should be somewhere around 35 grams. So, in order to get a true double espresso from here, you'd need to order two doubles, which comes out to over $6, which is absolutely crazy. I can go to any other coffee shop in Dallas (which I have) and they pull true doubles. If you head down to Toasted off of lower-Greenville for example, and ask for a double espresso, you'll get a true double. These guys are pulling singles and selling them as doubles, which is unconscionable. The reason I come here is because I like their beans a lot, but until they fix how they pull shots and stop purposefully short-changing customers, I won't be back sadly. No other espresso I've had in Dallas is as small in volume as this place. read more

The guy that took my card was genuinely nice and gave Ruby Dooby Doo a dog biscuit! Order: Small (12 oz) Adam Bomb (Two shots of Espresso blended with vanilla and cinnamon) and I added a shot for an additional cost, making it a triple. *** Coffee was VERY good and I have a feeling it will be my regular. Breakfast Sandwich (Egg, cheese, bacon, spinach, & pesto spread on a brioche bun) *** Breakfast was good. Definitely better than a crusty, old Starbucks breakfast sandwich. The bacon added nice flavor, but the texture wasn't right. Way too floppy. I picked it off & gave it to Ruby(she was an extra happy dog). The egg was square, which was interesting. Pesto spread, spinach, & bun brought the fast food item up several notches. Worth a try if you're hungry. Notes: the coffee stopper was only about an inch long, which I LOVED. To me it says that they're serious about quality and morally sound. I was quite happy to not have a toxic piece of plastic floating around in my cup. As a longtime WRC supporter it pains me to leave a poor review, however, my WRC experiences in the last year have been an absolute hit or miss. My go to order is a blended atom bomb, which was made with consistency for years. Starting about a year ago, it seems like y'all just make up a new recipe every time I order the drink. Sometimes it's acceptable, sometimes it's absolutely awful. I've gone so far as to ask if the recipe is changed, or if it can be made a specific way (original way) and it's still so hit or miss I've stopped coming. Already an expensive option, and with high tipping expectations by the staff, I'd encourage y'all do to a round of quality control with your beverages. I love my order at White Rock Coffee, and will continue to support if this is fixed, but getting a basic menu item correct less than 20% of the time just isn't acceptable in my book. read more

This is the miniature version of White Rock Coffee. It's in a small shack with 2 drive-thrus and a walk-up that has two tables. It's at Mockingbird and Abrams. My full review for this place is at the main White Rock Coffee but I can tell you that their coffee is incredible. It never tastes burnt and is way better than Starbucks who usually feeds my caffeine addiction. I'm a huge fan of the caramel latte (not too sweet and perfectly balanced) and their White Rocker latte which is almond and white chocolate (a little sweeter but still good)! For a long time I was a daily regular with my girlfriend. Over time we were told by an employee that cold drinks were made with cold brew rather than espresso. If you like watered down drinks that don't wake you up, go here. I will say most of the employees are super chill and nice to talk to in the drive thru however one employee who takes orders in the mornings a lot of times speaks WAY too loud in the speaker and OVER suggests buying other items. It's one thing to up-sell, but another to be obnoxious about it. I think it's really important to have employees who don't say the SAME thing every time someone drives thru, it's good to change the motto up. Another thing--I really think this coffee company should have a rewards program as they have a frequent long line and I'm sure other people would like to be rewarded occasionally as well. Overall, drinks taste good but they are not packed with enough caffeine to make a difference during the day. If you are an experienced coffee drinker, don't waste your time. read more

Go on Saturday morning and you will more than likely find a line of cars wrapped around the little 'express' house/hut...as well as folks lined up at the walk up and order window. The drive thru goes by super fast though because the baristas inside know their stuff and they move quickly. I highly recommend you try the White Rocker latte with almond milk. Probably one of the coolest parts about picking a coffee shop based off of where we'll be for the day is that I know nothing about it. I basically figure out what area I'll be in, find a shop nearby and go. So once I got home and did some research on White Rock Coffee, I now understand my reaction to loving my latte a little more! I had no idea that KRUPS voted them one of the top 15 coffeehouses in America AND they've won Best Cup of Coffee in Dallas, as well as Best Coffeehouse in Dallas along with other local awards. Making me now want to visit their Brew lab the next time I'm out by the Arboretum. This location is their Express stop! While the cars in the drive thru wrapped around their little building and down the parking lot where they sit, we got out of the car to order at the window instead. The woman who took my order was so nice! I ordered an Adam Bomb with oat milk and oooooh my word. When I see drinks that include white chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon I think it might be too sweet, but it was very well balanced and not too sweet at all, so I was still able to taste their amazing espresso. What a joyful first experience at White Rock! As a barista myself, I was delighted every step of the way. The guy on the order board was kind and efficient in greeting me and getting my order, and the girl at the window was radiating the same friendly energy. She immediately noticed my excited dog (who knows what "let's go get coffee means" and loves to join me on my coffee run every morning) and offered us a dog treat! Immediate 5 stars from Ramona! I was also so happy when I received a clipboard to sign my card receipt - White Rock cares about their wonderful employees enough to ensure pleased customers are able to tip not just via cash, but on card as well. Well supported baristas are happy baristas and happy baristas give great service. I am always more inclined to support a business I can see supports their workers as, once again, I have worked in the industry myself. So shoutout to the higher ups for that tidbit. Now let's get to the coffee: I tried the White Rocker which is white chocolate and caramel, since I enjoy sweet drinks, this one is great for anyone who orders white mochas w/ toffeenut or caramel at SB. This drink did not disappoint!! The espresso is nicely well rounded with a great bold flavor that is perfectly balanced by the sweet white chocolate and caramel. I'm excited to try the Adam Bomb on my next visit, per my window baristas recommendation. Ramona and I can't wait to come back and continue supporting this business! Coffee was great, but OMG latte was amazing! The best I've ever had...both for under $6!
