Not sure this is still "White Rose" at Bridgewater, but we'll just call it Bridgewater... We love going here. In the summer, perfect apres golf grub and grog, especially at the back bar with fresh air open setting and elevated patio overlooking the last golf hole. In the winter, back bar is sealed up and heated, several large TVs for football/sports watching. The front bar is nicely decorated for Christmas, and has an elevated stage for live music. Dim lighting, dark wood, nice menu, really good food, and pretty good service! Sundays are half-price burgers. My fav is the BW Pub Burger. Did I mention the 4-6p Happy Hour? Solid place for dinner! Met some friends here and I thought the food was delicious and so did everyone else. Apparently those that got fried items felt the items were a bit too breaded but they've eaten here before and said it's not usually like that. Service was friendly and decent pace. read more

They have an Orange crush drink on special every Saturday, which was very delicious. First time back here in years, and first visit since White Rose took over. The new layout is genuinely impressive -- a bar with a great view overlooking the golf course, a dining area set just below, and an outdoor bar tucked off to the side. It's a space that feels fresh and inviting. The food was very much in line with typical White Rose fare: solid, well-prepared, and reliable, but not necessarily memorable. The beer list had the mainstream standards along with a few craft options, but for a place calling itself a Public House, it felt a little underwhelming. That said, the chicken thighs were a highlight. Not perfect, but definitely something I'd come back for. Predictable isn't always bad -- sometimes it's what you want. Unfortunately, the biggest letdown was the service. Drinks sat empty across the table and our server was nearly invisible. It didn't seem like a lack of effort as much as short staffing -- but still, without attentive service, it's hard to enjoy the rest. We left feeling underwhelmed. We'll give it another try, because the setting really does make this place worth a second chance. Hopefully next time it's just a better afternoon all around. read more

I came here on Memorial Day Monday and was surprised they were open on Mondays and holidays. They have happy hour daily 4-6pm with half off 4 apps (steamed shrimp, steamed clams, blue crab dip, and loaded fries) and half off all glasses of wine, beers, and cocktails. Great deal. They also have live music and a calendar on the website. Apps: -Steamed clams - awesome, clams in melted butter, great huge toasty buttered baguette (2 slices). -Blue crab dip - this was another must have if you like crab dip. Cheesy, crabby, delicious! Cocktails: Knocked off 1 star for the cocktails -Strawberry Fields and for some reason it had a cherry cough syrup taste and was pretty weak -Who's your Caddy? Grapefruit - didn't taste any grapefruit, tasted mostly like a diluted tea with very little alcohol -Skinny mule - on the stronger side, husband liked it enough Entrees: -Chimchurri steak - done perfectly medium rare, good sauce mashed potatoes and asparagus. This was my first time here and it was crazy busy on a Friday. I came at 5:20 and waited 40 minutes for a table when there were 4 parties ahead of me. Sat at the bar in the meantime for happy hour, half price drinks was nice. Our server was prompt and pleasant. I ordered a CBR burger without a roll and asked to sub the fries for asparagus. I didn't know there was going to be a 2.96 upcharge for 6 short stalks of asparagus. It's not like they charge you less if you don't get the fries. My wife and I decided to go here on a Saturday for dinner. We sat at the high tops in the bar area and we're so pleasantly surprised at our first time at this Restaurant. We ordered a few drinks and a couple of small plates. The tacos were tasty and spicy as advertised. My wife was surprised about the barbecue pulled pork flatbread being spicy; as this was not described on the menu. Without asking, this flatbread was exchanged for another of our choice in one of the best exchanges of customer service I've seen in a long time. The ambience was great, typical upscale bar attitude with live music playing. Everyone seem to enjoy themselves at the bar. I don't know that I've ever seen staff move as diligently to help the customers around the entire restaurant. The manager also was noted to be checking in with customers, bringing out orders, and verifying with staff throughout our entire experience. Emily was our server for the evening and she did a spectacular job. We will definitely be back throughout the year and hope to make this a staple of our happy hour rotation! read more

We were looking for someplace to eat around 8:30 PM one weeknight. Everything in Red Lion and the surrounding area seemed to close at 9 PM and we didn't want to barge in at the last minute. I did a Yelp! search and found this place which stays open until midnight. The place is bright and spacious and overlooks the golf course. It is very modern looking with a huge bar. What do you get here? The crabcakes! They may seem a little pricey at $28 but they were huge crabcakes and nothing but pure lump crab held together with a little sauce! They were beautiful! We also tried the crab dip. It was a bit salty for my taste but still pretty good. They had several craft beers available on tap Including Perpetual IPA from Troeggs Brewing which they serve in 20 ounce glasses for $6.50! That's quite a bargain! The draft lines are incredibly clean as the beers from them tasted beautiful! This is a great place for dinner, a late bite to eat, or some drinks. Sorry, but a star had to fall. Came back for lunch and was disappointed. I ordered a small corn chowder and a large grilled Cesar salad with chicken. The chowder had no flavor at all. Seemed to be just potatoes and corn? And canned corn at that. At least add salt! I'm glad I asked for the large salad. I'd hate to see what the small looks like. It was definitely the tiniest head of romain lettuce I've ever seen. Never should have been pulled from the dirt. The chicken was so over cooked and rubbery that I couldn't cut through it with my knife. The outside was so rubbery that the meat was peeling away from the outer layer. Randomly, a hard boiled egg on the side :/ I enjoy hard boiled eggs, but I didn't order a Cobb salad. I tried a piece of my friends crab flatbread and it was so rich. One piece was enough. Second visit, not very impressed with the food so far. We stopped at 9pm for dinner, Saturday night. The bar side was full, dining side relatively busy. We where seated quickly however we sat for a good while before someone came by and asked if we had been served yet. I got the market catch, mahi mahi, with a side of corn and ceasar salad. The salad was drenched again, way too much dressing imo. The mahi mahi was plain, absolutely zero seasoning, same as the corn. To be fair, I wasn't told there would be seasoning, but, some effort would have been nice. Everything was cooked well so I can't complain there, just very plain. read more

Way to survive the pandemic!! As we live close by we probably eat/drink here once a week. Food/beverage has always been great along with the service. Carne asada tacos, fish/shrimp tacos, French dip, loaded fries, onion soup and salads top the list but honestly we have not had anything that wasn't very good. The food is good, not great. Overpriced but I feel Like everything is nowadays. I had the French dip 3 times on 3 different occasions. Hoping it would get better. It didn't. Really has no flavor and tastes a little off. The bread is excellent tho. 18$ for less than a dozen wings that were undercooked and not crispy. That was disappointing. The burgers are great, steaks are great. The atmosphere is cool and the kids love the arcade. Always had great service. But the star of the show should be the food. It's just not there. So not often I give 5 stars but there is a first for everything. Service; the waitress was very attentive plus the manager also came out to check. Food quality; so my wife had the French Onion soup and the 1/2 grilled Ceaser salad. I had the Crab/Corn/Clam chowder and the crab cake (we had lunch). I have to say the crab cake (along with the downtown restaurant) is now my favorite crab cake in York County. All lump and only held together with imperial sauce. It held up great in the Ciabatta bread (most do not if they have a lot of filler). The soup was good but the crab cake sent this to a 5. Nice view overlooking the old golf course(I won't go there with my review of the golf course because it isn't the same since they put houses on the front nine and it is now only a 9 hole course..yuk). Really nice improvement from the old White Rose! When I was there I talked to one of the managers named lily. She was wonderful and really wanted to make sure we had a great time! Our bartender was named Travis and he did a wonderful job. I believe he was new there so they are lucky to have him. Only complaint is that the $12 tacos are 3 really small tacos that are less then impressive. I'll chalk this up to being a new kitchen staff. Hope this place does well! read more

They have a great crab cake and the interior is beautifully done. Great service in the restaurant. We were excited that this was opening close to our home as we have been long time supporters and fans of the downtown location. So we were disappointed in some of the menu changes and hope that they are temporary. First, there is this odd broccoli salad that is the side with all sandwiches. It's odd in that sometimes it seems like it's made from fresh broccoli and other times it seems to be made from partially cooked broccoli. Then one time the dressing on it was poured over top and not mixed in. It doesn't taste great either and looks sketchy. To get fries or tots is a full $2 up-charge. And another up charge for a tablespoon of tartar sauce. The crab pretzel down town is a favorite decadent treat. But at Bridgewater it is different. Very little crab, tastes of msg, and tastes of only cream cheese. We will keep going in hopes that they can change some things because it is convenient and wears loyal. Oh, and since there aren't any pit meats at this location, they use a very salty turkey alternative to pit turkey. read more

I was unable to give negative stars! I wrote this review two days ago and am still steaming over our service! This was the absolute worst! Party of 8 and each couple clearly identified to the server there would be 4 separate checks. No problem until service was so slow, easy beer orders messed up, some got to order food while others wondered what the hell is happening? Are we invisible? Drink service so bad and slow, went to bar with cash to order drinks. Bartender makes eye contact twice then walks past with head down like she doesn't want to be bothered. I am a fan of the service industry and usually tip the bill. Not this time! Service was horrendous and the manager was just as bad! He was not interested in what the hell was going on. Lilly is a great bar manager and this unknown drip was a total douche. White Rose is wasting money and will probably lose more money employing this bum. Will not go back! It's a shame because the sister restaurants Rockfish and White Rose are managed much better. Total disappointment! read more

My family and I went here for Mother's Day, unfortunately we had a under par experience. While we were greeted with warm smiles and happy faces our food did not compare. We waited for our appetizers for a hour and never received them, until after our food arrived. They did however, take them off our bill they were both cold. In addition, our food was cold. The Crab Mac and Cheese was a very low temp when it was received, and the shrimp was over cooked. The rice served with the Crab Cakes had no flavor. The restaurant advertised a Mother's Day experience, but when we order there was very limited options. If a restaurant is going to advertise a certain event and have reservations, one should prepare for the even to accommodate everyone. I am truly disappointed. My mom deserves better. read more

Been here twice so far. The service has been great both times. There are plenty seating areas (inside and outside bar, and tables). My 12 year old daughter especially likes the gaming area. There are more sandwiches then entrees, but the menu seems varied enough. Food was great! read more

Open two weeks at time of posting. Decor is great, view is lovely, and food is good. Prices are high for what you get, but delicious. Service is poor. We dined at 4 pm on a Friday. Our waitress Brianne was far from friendly, not a deal breaker, however her poor service was unacceptable. The only request made was met with eye rolling and silence. * the request was already made when when placing the order * Drink refills were never acknowledged, we had to walk to the bar and request them. My husband made a joke that the bus boys were more attentive than our server, which was the truth. They worked very hard and cleared constantly. My second time here for dinner. Menu has a variety of items from appetizers to salads & sandwiches to dinner entrees. This time I ordered tomato bisque and 1/2 a Cobb salad with grilled chicken.
