My hubby and friends have come to have a quick drink and bite and it's just always good vibes. Sometimes it's INSANE and LOUD and BUMPIN because of a game or match, and other times it's more chill and you can watch whatever is on the screen/tv and just chill. Either way, it's a lot of fun. The food is solid pub food -- we've enjoyed everything we've tried here and really don't have any complaints. I don't find a Scotch Egg many places, so I usually order when I see on the menu. Love it. Service is good, but also really depends on what is going on -- we haven't had to wait long nor have we had any issues with putting in orders or refills, but just manage expectations depending on why and when you are here.

The chicken spring rolls were the biggest hit, the sausage rolls were good but strangely sweet and maple flavored which wasn't in the description. The chicken gouda pasta was a real miss for me, there was no bacon on it which was in the description, and it was flavorless and mushy. I actually sent it back which I never do. I asked to replace it with the Pub Poutine, which they kindly did, but unfortunately it was extremely salty and difficult to eat as well. The fries were hot and tasty. The burger arrived medium as I had ordered and the produce seemed fresh. The mushroom and onion flavors were lost somehow, and the burger could have used a little more seasoning, but overall solid for being local to Clarksville. I had a couple of cocktails, some type of margarita with cranberry, and a basic mule. They were fine, but nothing special and nothing I would order again. They have a ton of beers here, and that's what they are known for, so if you're a beer drinker, that's your best bet. They have brunch on the weekends. My server was attentive and kind.

The bartender was on point all night (Kels) quick, attentive, and somehow still made it feel personal even when things got busy. You can tell they actually care about their craft, not just pouring drinks but creating an experience. Every recommendation hit. Drinks were balanced, creative, and consistent--no shortcuts, no guesswork. On top of that, the energy they brought completely changed the vibe of the place. Friendly without being overbearing, professional without being stiff... just the right mix. It's rare to come across someone who can run a bar and make everyone feel like a regular at the same time. Definitely the kind of service that keeps people coming back. If you're stopping by, sit at the bar--you'll understand exactly what I mean.

Being that it was a Friday night after a hard week (and a celebration!) we decided to hang out at House of Brews for a happy hour first. I tried a few of the beers--one on tap (a homestyle IPA) and a couple in cans, the best of which was a caramel machiatto stout which I loved (pictured here). My wife prefers cocktails and/or wine, so she had one of each. We also had the salted pretzel. Prices are very fair, the beer selection is enormous, and my wife appreciated the numerous cocktail, well drink, and wine options. I saw many tables dining on pizza and pub food that all looked terrific, so the next time we're here we'll have the entire meal here. Friendly service, free parking on the street, and an overall great atmosphere.
