This is the place to go for sushi!!!! My best friend goes to school in Fort Collins so visiting her means visiting white tree sushi. The rolls are always fresh and never disappointed with a good Tempora roll. My favorite rolls you will have to try are the cowboy roll, rock n roll, as well as the classic Philly roll. So many great wine options. The ambience of this place is very calm and gives a good vibe. Within the restaurant they have a piano that anyone can play which is peaceful most music majors play. 5 stars for every experience I've had. read more

We went on a Friday night, and White Tree had only two people working in the entire place! Service was EXTREMELY slow and we were never checked on (I would have loved another glass of wine!). This was the first time my family and I visited. We just finished eating there by the way, it's a Sunday. Despite us coming in at 9:00pm, they still served us and gave us amazing customer service and the food was amazing. Amy was our waitress. She was so sweet and so attentive. She honestly made us feel welcomed. My husband got the seafood ramen soup, it was spicy and delicious. We also got the combo A with four sushi rolls, all were super delish. And my kid got udon with beef and the other one got a bulgogi meal; it was also so good. Overall we had a super amazing experience here. We finally found our favorite sushi place. Try it, you'll like it! Don't let the strip mall it sits in keep you from trying White Tree. So glad we overcame the initial hesitation and gave it a try. Inside it's quaint, cozy, clean and friendly with white linen table cloths on every table. Staff is super friendly and helpful and the food is top notch. My wife is gluten free and she found lots of delicious choices to choose from. We had butter shrimp and twisted salmon for appetizers (I also had the mandu because I'm not gluten free) and a few assorted rolls (I had a Hot Line, which was amazing) and a large salmon poke bowl for entrees (we were hungry!). Couldn't have had a better, more reasonably priced and enjoyable meal. Will be back soon to try the rest of the menu! read more

Do not serve instant noodles as spicy ramen that is just B.S.! If we want shim ramyun instant ramen we should have gone to walmart and pay .99 cents rather than $15. Where is the pride in that. I feel so bad for americans who gave this spicy ramen 3 stars and above. Unfortunately they seem to ignore comments on the tickets since I requested tamari for a wheat allergy and sent regular soy sauce. When I called to make a complaint they said, sorry we don't have packages (please, you don't you do not have portion cups when your providing delivery service?...) And they were too busy. White Tree is my favorite sushi place in Fort Collins. The service has always been great and the sushi even greater. They also offer an impressive selection of sake (sake flights!) and the server was very knowledgable and helpful about the different varieties. Kudos to White Tree Sushi--it is definitely the best sushi/Asian food restaurant in Fort Collins. The food was awesome, service was friendly and attentive, atmosphere was clean and modern without being cold. We were there for lunch around 12:30 on a Saturday and it was really quiet which made us a little nervous. Everyone must have just been away for the holidays because we were happily surprised with the sushi and bento box--both excellent. Even small things like the miso soup was good--the other places around town typically serve miso so salty it's barely edible. Highly recommend and we'll definitely go back. A little off the beaten track from downtown but definitely worth the extra ten minutes to get there--and on the plus side it's much easier to find parking compared to downtown. read more

Don't miss out! Four of us were seated promptly on Father's Day. Don't let the shopping center location discourage you: the warm atmosphere and ample seating is very adequate. The host/manager/owner? reviewed sushi and sushi roll options, making recommendations as he went along. A couple of us each ordered the Chirashi over rice. It was very generous and could easily have been shared by two. The sushi dinner was superb and also generous. For my faint-hearted wife, the shrimp tempura with a dinner salad off the appetizer menu was a good choice for the non-sushi guest. I would highly recommend White Tree. read more

my boyfriend and i had date night here last week and to be honest, we were not completely satisfied with the ambiance/mood of the restaurant. it seemed somewhat depressing. the food was good, but the service seemed off too. it seemed to be that there was one server for the restaurant that night, grant it, it's not a huge place, but one server just wasn't enough. read more

Hands down the best Sushi in Fort Collins. We went on Mother's Day for a late lunch and the staff was attentive and incredibly helpful. We ordered a massive plate to some amazing rolls including the Romance Roll which was out of this world... it packs some serious heat. The Chef emerged from the kitchen with something they were considering for the menu. It's this type of service that made me fall in love with Japanese restaurants in the first place. Good sushi place not too far from the CSU campus. They were able to accommodate a 16 people group which was great. Prices are typical for a sushi restaurant. I suggest the sweet potato roll, it tasted amazing. read more

I can't believe I hadn't heard of this place until recently! Great friendly service, delicious and affordable food, and quaint ambience. My husband and I tried their miso soup (authentic & hot unlike other "sushi" restaurants in town), the yellowtail nigiri (generous cut of fish & super fresh), and the Hwae Dop Bob (so much sashimi for just $14) and Yang-nyum Chicken Bowls. Full disclosure, we initially only chose this restaurant because it is close to the campground we are staying at. What a pleasant surprise! Very solid sushi joint with an emphasis on Korean entrees! The offspring and I made our first visit last night and we were quite satisfied. The interior is Spartan but aesthetically pleasing, and fairly spacious. The miso soup was the best I've ever had anywhere - it has texture and flavor that surpasses the thin gruel you get at most places. I'll have to order the bucket size next time (JK). The value is really good too - for a widebody like myself, I usually expect to drop $35-$45 just to be sated, but the 2 of us escaped for $30. I would like to see more dessert options. I'm always glad to have another good dining option in Fort Collins, so please give White Tree a visit! read more

Chef Ron is phenomenal! So friendly and talented! This new little hidden gem has OUTSTANDING sushi! Staff is so humble, polite and inviting. It has the same feel as a unique small Japenese restaurant, however the awkward calm that one associates with walking in loudly/humanly or just plain "whoops do I need to be quiet???" on a class of meditation or yoga is comforted with magnificent Chef Ron and his staff! He surprised us after we had finished and paid with delicious mushroom topped with spicy tuna and other deliciousness fried on top of greens and an amazing sauce. Tried White Tree for lunch and it was a great choice. The lunch menu has a nice range of alternatives, especially the "choose three" sushi plate (which was big enough to share). We weren't in a hurry, but my sushi and my companion's bento box arrived in good time. Presentation was nice and the food very tasty. The service was also top-notch from beginning to end. I'm eager to return so I can try the dinner menu. Two items stood out: Bulgogi Salad and an extensive sake list. White Tree features a mix of Korean and Japanese dishes, but has a mellower vibe than JeJu on College (which I also like). read more

Let me start by saying the sushi tastes really fresh and flavorful with great and different options than other places here in Fort Collins. (Like their sweet potato roll which was unique and amazing) My problem with this restaurant was that we were in on a Saturday night and they only had two people working the front of the house. That means both workers were the hostesses, bussers and servers. This equated to extremely slow service and food that took forever to get to us. This was either a poor management decision trying to cut down on overhead or just a fluke because someone called in sick or something. Either way we will be back one more time for the really tasty sushi, but hopefully they will get the service and food prep times down to a reasonable amount of time. read more

Went here about a month ago with a friend and we both love sushi! I saw the reviews on Yelp and decided to give it a try and I'm sure glad I did!! Reasonable prices, plenty of rolls to pick from and a couple different options for ramen! The traditional(?) ramen had good flavor and a bit of a bite. Both tempura and regular sushi rolls were awesome and wrapped right. I hate when they're loosely wrapped and fall apart as soon as you pick them up with chop sticks. Hands down the best sushi in Fort Collins the servers, chefs, and owners are dedicated to friendly service, and their special rolls are to die for. If you are in to saki their saki flights give you a chance to try some of the best available including organic saki. Jaws was our favorite but this place blows them away. read more

This place should be way more crowded than it is. The sushi is fresh and the service is very good. I had the sushi dinner which has 4 nigiri, 3 pieces of sashimi, and a specialty roll all for 25 dollars. It was a steal for the quality. I also had a yellowtail handroll which was delicious! The location I think might be why it is not very crowded, but don't let that stop you from having a great sushi dinner! They also have a lot of cooked food from Japanese to Korean, definitely want to try everything they have. read more
