    10.08.21 - Yakitori Chicken Bowl // Small
    Harlee S.

Located right across from the CSU campus is Teriyaki Wok Two. I'm surprised this place doesn't have more reviews as it's right on the street and within walking distance from the campus. Parking may be an issue since there are a couple restaurants that share the same lot of maybe 15 spots. However, there is a bigger lot across the street where you can park and walk over. I thought the inside was going to be big since the outside looks huge. It's two levels with about 4 tables on the ground floor and tables for bigger parties on the second floor. The restrooms are upstairs as well. This establishment seems to cater more towards those who like takeout and delivery. They received many phone calls while we were dining in and quite a few folks who were coming in to pick up and order to go. The menu isn't too crazy and has just enough variety to please everyone. I ordered the small yakitori chicken bowl. I enjoyed it and thought that it wasn't going to be filling enough for me, but my eyes are always bigger than my stomach. FYI, the small yakitori only comes with one skewer, which was three decent sized pieces of chicken. The teriyaki sauce is oh so good and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Everyone else enjoyed their meals too which consisted of nama udon and bulgogi. You can't beat the price either! I mean every meal was under $10 and the portions were pretty big. Overall, I would recommend this place and come back as a customer again.

Wasn't authentic teriyaki. Everything was cold and veggies were raw and chicken didn't even have sauce :/

So the place seems off and not that attractive but the teriyaki is solid. Go back often.

This is the best restaurant ever in Fort Collins. It is very homemade and very cheap. Best boba ever too!

The veggie tempura was plentiful with 2 servings of 4 veggies. For the main, we usually choose cook it yourself style but after a long morning of sports tournaments, we came to try the cooked bbq. Now we are reformed and prefer it. It was nice to have 3 platters of meat to dig into. There is plenty for a single person but for a couple people it could be fine with some appetizers. One in our party chose the bimbibap and it was a great portion. The mains were served it with 5 sides which were fine. Note that additional side like lettuce might be extra. Overall, the tastes are perfect if you've never tried Korean food before. We finished our meal with the strawberry crepe cake which was the perfect end to our meal. Definitely recommend if you have a hungry crew.

(Love that always) lovely conversation with the server who was manning the place down by herself though there wasn't that many of us she held the place down, was attentive and had a great conversation without being too much. It warmed up my tummy and a side bowl of white rice was the perfect lunch for me AND I had leftovers. The side options are a bit more pickled but they aren't gross. A crunchier cucumber kimchee is usually what I prefer and theirs aren't as crunchy due to the extended length in time pickled. All of their meat options are delicious so its not a bad thing that they bring out all of them to start, its just different. Service is good, they check up on you and clear the table as well as keeping you updated on everything. Lighting could be improved, there are some tables with direct lights and others that are a bit dim but you're not completely in the dark. It's a tradition to come here on certain occasions and those traditions shall continue on.

From the moment we walked in - I'm recovering from recent shoulder surgery and dressing isn't easy so I didn't look my best - I discreetly asked the hostess if it was ok for me to come in looking kinda grungy and she sweetly told me I looked cute. Then a very friendly young man led us to our table. The place was packed, there were a lot of families with children as well as older folks like my hubby and me. Our waiter was also very friendly. Hubby and I usually each order soup, then we order 2 appetizers and one entree to split when we go to Asian restaurants. We ordered the same here. The egg drop soup was heartier than we expected, it had corn and little bit of chicken in it. It was delicious. Our appetizers, spring rolls and wrapped shrimp, were delicious and they were served on beds of noodles with sliced carrots and cucumbers around the edges of the plates. We had to ask our waiter for carry out containers before our entree even arrived. Our entree, pork with bok choy, shiitake mushrooms, and oyster sauce was delicious....just like everything else was. And since we ordered too much we had enough left over for dinner the following night. Hubby and I usually go for Thai or Japanese when we're in the mood for Asian cuisine and we have our favorite spots in FoCo for those (I prefer Thai, he prefers Japanese). We now have our favorite Vietnamese restaurant. The food was great and the service was very friendly!
