They could actually change their website to acknowledge that none of the things they list, exist!!…read moreeven updated 03/26 I don't know where the good reviews came from, but doubt actual family members are writing them. This is false advertising to the nth degree. People should not leave their loved ones here. They don't do anything except lay in bed. It's way up in the hills and coyotes are howling all the time. The owner doesn't even care when you talk to him. He's running a scam and making money off of it. Sorry, but that's the honest truth.

The rooms are very clean and spacious, and I believe he got great care while he was there. Cynthia was always responsive to our texts and made sure things were taken care of. Unfortunately, my brother passed just 9 days after moving in. Per the contract, the monthly fees are prorated to the time spent in the facility, and Jesse, who I believe is their business manager, assured me that they will issue a prorated refund - approximately $4,500 - he just needed to work with his Finance person. That was over 7.5 months ago. At first, he was responsive to my texts and calls following up on the refund, but he hasn't responded to me since February 2024. Cynthia stopped responding to me as well. Not sure if it's a cash flow issue (I offered partial payments), or if it's unethical business practices, but either way, it's totally unacceptable. It's awful to deal with a death in the family, but then to have to deal with this makes it even worse. We're all trying to put my brother's death behind us, but can't do so until we get our refund. So please be careful when choosing this place.

Over the past 15 years I've had the privilege of working closely with their team and witnessing the high standard of care they provide to their residents. What impresses me most is their consistent professionalism and attention to detail. The staff is always responsive, organized, and proactive when it comes to handling insurance-related matters--making the process smooth not just for vendors like myself, but most importantly, for the residents and their families. Beyond the administrative side, it's clear that the environment at Park Regency retirement, is one built on compassion and respect. Every time I'm on-site, I see smiling faces, meaningful interactions, and a real sense of community. It's obvious that the residents are well cared for--not just physically, but emotionally and socially as well. They're a fantastic partner and an even better resource for families seeking quality assisted-living options.

A big part of it was the marketer who was not only helpful and communicative, but also enthusiastic about the building and the care staff. She helped them navigate various aspects of relocating our loved one, the pros and cons of different senior living communities and really highlighted the quality care provided by her staff. What ultimately sold us on this community was the memory care. We decided that it would be best to choose a community that had assisted living and memory care in one building so, if the time ever came, it would be a smoother transition should that level of care be needed. Although the building is a bit older, it is well taken care of and has a beautiful courtyard for residents and families to enjoy. I highly recommend taking a tour if you're considering assisted living homes for your loved one!

My grandma has lived on her own for as long as I can remember... in her own house doing her own…read morecooking and cleaning. She's a wonderful, independent, intelligent and bright woman with all her faculties and wits still about her. She's almost 95! Grandma is picky and only likes certain foods and has a bit of OCD when it comes to the way things should be and with cleanliness. Heck, she's done her own thing for over 45 years, do you blame her! She's got every right to do it her way. A few months ago, she had a little health set-back and to just keep things safe while family was out of town for a long length of time, my parents decided to have her stay here for "just a month or two" to be watched over while they were out of town. I don't think she was there more than just a day when she announced that she loved it at the Villa and wanted to make it permanent! What!!?? That was awesome news!!! We wouldn't have to worry about her being home alone ever again. Since that first proclamation of love, she has rarely made any comments as to being unhappy with her new permanent living arrangement. She loves the food, loves the views and is perfectly content with every aspect. We wish she'd go play Bingo or Yahtzee with the others, but she's her own woman and used to spending her days doing what she wants. It took her a bit of adjusting to consider it a forever place, but she did just fine and has made it her home... both physically and mentally. They keep her room cleaned, any complaints are addressed and meals have been more than adequate for her and her picky tastes and likes. She's thrilled! There are several floors of residents all in different states of mind, body and life. The hallways are clear and clean. The staff is always tending to the Villa; cleaning, checking on residents and keeping things tip top. The front desk staff have always greeted me and my family with a smile and even remember who we are there to see. They even know her likes and dislikes too. Grandma loves her digs and I haven't seen her this happy (consistently) in a long time. She's back to being a happy lady again and enjoying her golden years in a peaceful, clean and enjoyable home. Thank you to La Habra Villa for all you do!!

What we found out about the new owner/management is that they are raising rent considerably. They are not recognizing any pre-existing rent contracts, which actually may be illegal. We are still looking into it. Long story short they are chasing out all those who cannot afford the new high rent, in order to bring in those who can afford it. Many people will be leaving as a result. They are heartless and the culture barrier does not help with communication. Do not even consider this place.

From the moment you walk in, you can feel the compassion and empathy that guide everything the caregivers do--it's not just their profession, it's their calling. What means the most to us is knowing that our loved one is not simply being looked after, but truly seen, understood, and valued by people who deeply understand memory care and lead with both expertise and heart. That reassurance brings an immeasurable sense of peace to our family. We are profoundly grateful for the extraordinary care, compassion, and unwavering support provided by the entire Silverado-Brea team.

They never talked down to him or treated him like a child. They always reminded us that this was his home, and they were simply there to support him. What stood out most was how much life there was in the community. There was music, activities, resident dogs roaming the halls, laughter, and genuine joy. Residents are encouraged, not forced, to participate, and they're cared for as individuals, not patients. The community is clean, the residents are well cared for, and you can genuinely feel the love. My dad eventually transitioned to Silverado Hospice, and his passing was peaceful. During those final days, the staff cared for our family just as much as they cared for him. They brought us meals, checked on us constantly, and surrounded us with compassion during one of the hardest times of our lives. We will always be grateful for the love and dignity they gave my dad. If you're looking for memory care for someone you love, I can't recommend Silverado highly enough.
