We did a ton of research on different rental companies and Lost Campers had them all beat. So affordable and even allowed us to bring our doggo! Two adults and one Labrador Retriever in a van was a little tight, but we loved every second of it! I was nervous to do something like this during a pandemic, but upon arrival, the van was very clean and the lot worked perfect for a social distancing situation. Got our key from the lock box and Byron came downstairs to greet us (wearing a mask which I appreciated). He gave us some tips for the van and was very personable. Very accommodating with blankets and snow chains. After hours drop off was simple and easy too! If you plan accordingly and follow their rules, then you'll have a wonderful time. Exceptional customer service, from first point of contact to returning the vehicle. Renting from Lost Campers felt like renting from a neighborhood friend. If any questions popped up, Lost Campers was an easy text or phone call away. The Lost Camper vans may be a bit older with minor wear and tear, but the vans are clean inside and out, in great working condition, and professionally maintained. They actually drive "newer" than their miles indicate. I also liked that the vans were nondescript with no exterior signage for added security. As a tip: Make sure to pay attention during the tutorial in folding and storing the camper bed. But anytime you need a great outdoors adventure - Lost Campers awaits!

It…read morestarts from the peaceful campground and continues onto Baden-Powell peak, the 4th highest peak in the San Gabriel Mountains. Along the way, there are opportunities to stop at several other peaks, such as Dawson, Hawkins, Throop, and Burnham. This would add several more miles to the total hike. The trail is single file with varying sizes of loose rock under foot. Most of the trail is a fairly tame ascension, but there are also multiple areas of decline, which of course means climbing up on the way back. You will follow signs to Windy Gap, Pacific Crest Trail, then Baden-Powell. At the summit, there are nice 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains and cities far below. A dedicated monument and plaque stands, honoring and named after the founder of the Boy Scouts. parking - adventure pass required for the parking lot tip - this hike starts at about 5,000 feet, so it may be cooler than expected, depending on the season. In the summer heat, though, it's still quite warm.

As such, he should have also refunded the $500 holding deposit. What I received was refusal and harassment. Any "written contract" he is claiming is not true, as there was none. I should have insisted prior to making that deposit. There is nothing of the sort. He is plain and simply evading responsibility. If he has such it is definitely fraud. I'm writing this review in hopes that another family will not be taken advantage of. I applied to purchase a trailer from Westland Campers on July 27th. On July 29th I spoke with a man named Sean. He advised that I was approved for a 2018 Wildwood Xtreme Lite. There would be $2000 down, and $700 per month for 60 months. I was pretty excited to have a new trailer for our annual camping trip! He sent photos, answered my questions, and assured me that the tires, roof and trailer were in great shape. Unfortunately, he said he was leaving for vacation, then needed a day to go through the trailer and get it ready for the sale when he returned, so we wouldn't be able to pick up the trailer until 8/4. Additionally, I was told he'd need the $2k right away via Zelle to hold it. I didn't feel comfortable with that arrangement, so he agreed to hold it if I'd send $500 immediately via Zelle, and the rest at pick up on the 4th, so I did do $500. We went ahead and postponed our trip from the 1st to the 4th. We had everything laid out at home ready to load our new-to-us trailer, got the trailer insured, and planned to pick up the trailer & head out! Sean wasn't sure what the hitch size we needed was, so we brought a reversible ball, and figured we'd have to stop for a load-leveling sway hitch once we knew the type we needed. Upon arrival at Westland Campers in Pomona, we excitedly went to check out the trailer. The first thing we noticed was that all 4 tires were completely cracked and chewed up. Sean had assured me the tires were fine. When we pointed this out, he said we could take the trailer to his tire person a few miles away for new tires. I feel that he should have checked the tires before answering that they were in good shape. Next, we noticed that there was no mattress on the queen bed. I don't mind that, but it adds an extra layer of work needed prior to using the trailer. He didn't tell me about that. Third, the trailer was filthy. There were handprints, dirt, stains, and rodent feces in some drawers. This trailer would require a full day of hard cleaning, as well as the time needed to get the tires replaced to be usable. On the outside, the awning had multiple tears. Several of the plastic latches & light covers were missing or broken. He said he'd order replacements and send them to us, but again, this should have been done prior to delivery in my opinion. After weighing the amount of work and time, expense, and not having a proper hitch configuration, we decided not to move forward with the purchase. After much back and forth discussion with Sean, he declined to refund the good-faith deposit, or even apologize for the misrepresentation of the trailer's condition. I initially wrote this review on Tuesday evening. Sean repeatedly text me with threats and rude comments, saying I was lying, and insisting I remove my review. Finally, I just deleted it. It was stressing me out and I was trying to enjoy what was left of my time off work. But I've decided I will not succumb to blackmail. I went back through the dates, messages and conversations. Everything I am saying is the complete truth and I double checked prior to rewriting this review. I am not trying to "ruin his reputation", I simply want potential customers to be careful and trust your gut when dealing with Westland Campers.

I found a random flyer telling me they could change my life, and it did. I was immediately intimidated by the big skull and guns on the front of the flyer. People doing push-ups and wet. I almost did not call but then saw them by chance on Face book. I decided to take a chance, and I am so glad I did. They give me a week of free lessons (after buying a camp tshirt for $10) and it was so worth it. I was afraid of the ocean at first, they changed that and now I swim on my own. I couldn't run, they changed that now I do that also on my own. I watch what I eat, have confidence and find myself in an amazing place! The only bad part was at the beginning being cold once in a while, and wet and sandy. I got over that quickly. I definitely urge everyone to come to this camp.
