More details: I hired Selim to install a Murphy bed. The first issue was that he didn't pay attention to the bed's dimensions ahead of time. As soon as he arrived, he increased the price and repeatedly commented that he would have brought another person if he had known the correct size (when the issue was simply a lack of attention beforehand). He wasn't able to complete the job properly. The bed wouldn't close, and he couldn't identify the problem, leaving me to troubleshoot it myself. I spent hours trying to fix it and eventually noticed missing screws and other signs of inappropriate installation. In the end, I still had to pay the full price and then hire someone else to redo the same job correctly (paying twice for the same service). I asked for a 50% refund, but he refunded less than 15%. I honestly felt bad because he seems like a genuinely nice person. However, I lost a significant amount of money, time, and dealt with a lot of unnecessary stress. This was a job I paid for specifically to make things easier, not harder.

I am a bit surprised by this outfit. I was looking for handyman to replace a section of the fence…read more It is a small job but this cleaning company responded. Fine, you are interested, I am open to it. I provided a photo of the specific section with the width, but they wanted to go on site for a quote. Ok, most do to increase the chance of getting the bid. This guy though, decided he wanted to replace other areas of the fence as well and gave me many numbers in the process. I suppose he wanted some wiggle room when it is time to pay for the job? When I asked for the cost to replace the specific section in the photo I provided, his response is: "Thank you, look for another company." That, I will. From this company's perspective, they spend the time to go on site to quote only to throw away the opportunity! Not smart. From my perspective, they just wasted my time. I may still consider them for cleaning. They have good reviews. But don't waste your time on handyman work. Too bad, this seems to be a good cleaning company, but this guy just ruined their perfectly good reputation.
