Just waited 40 minutes for a lukewarm burger and soggy fries served by a surly server who never said "Hi" "Thank you" or "You're welcome." The wheels must be coming off the tracks because the birthday party next to us had their meal comped becuse it was so messed up. Went here for lunch with a group of guys attending a class nearby. Had the Witchita burger, pretty decent and tasty. Decor was bar-like, with lots of flat screens hanging everywhere. Would be a great spot to watch sports and drink beer. Staff was friendly and courteous; they also serve breakfasts, which I may try tomorrow. Overall, it was a tasty lunch with good service, and I would (and probably will) return. read more

Friends of the owners praised this place and advised us to go there for breakfast. We entered at 7 minutes to 1. The door tells you that breakfast ends at 1 o'clock so we quickly found a booth and made sure a waitress knew we were there. She said, Oh yes you can order breakfast and your waitress will be right with you.. We were sitting in the booth for 5 miniutes when the waitress arrived, She told us that she would not take a breakfast order. It was our first visit there and we were full of excitement when we arrived, but quickly deflated. I registered our disappointment with the PIC. We will not return to this business and will not recommend it to others. It gets an average for unexceptional treatment in an exceptional situation. read more

I use to have lunch here all the time when I worked out in Clackamas( was usually super busy back in the early 2000's). Went in a few days ago(Oct '14)....and super dead for lunch. Noticed the wait staff is VERY slow for a lunch time service! And the food didn't seem the same ( I usually ordered the Witchita Burger). How can you go wrong with a burger?!?! It's hit or miss some days, but 90% of the time I have had a good time. The burgers and clam chowder are always great. The pool area when it's not pack is a great add on to any night too. It's open late and always seems to have a good food special going too. read more

I am 68 years old and just had open heart surgery 6 months ago. After a scheduled appointment at Sunnyside Hospital my wife and I decided to go to Wichita Pub in Clackmas OR. When I pulled off of Hwy 212 into the office park some jerk off in a small Toyota rode my ass all the way to the front of the building which is the Wichita Pub main parking lot. My wife didn't see what was going on but I told myself if this prick gets out of his car I'm calling him down. Sure enough...he backs into and used two spots to protect his 1500 POS Toyota. He was bolting into the Wichita Pub like he might have been some runner. I told him what I thought of his bullshit, aggressive driving and we almost got into a fist fight or worse. Had it not been for my wife getting back in the car who knows. I had my doubts about this place and they were all confirmed today. This is a rough neck, Deliverance type of venue. Monster trucks in the parking lot, young slob types in the parking lot. I should have read the signs and heeded my own warning but we wanted to try it. We don't anymore. I will never go near the Wichita Pub in Clackmas again! Instead we went to the Spaghetti Factory and spent 125 bucks on a great lunch. I don't recommend this place unless you have skills in self defense. read more

Best place for hungover brunch the day after a night out. Mostly regulars come here and know all the staff. Very friendly place! Might be an mediocre place for bar food and drinks but definitely not dinner. I was in town for a business trip and wanted a place to eat and watch the game. I ordered one of the chicken breast entrees. Asked the server what kind of potato she recommended and she said the garlic baby reds were her suggestion. At least 20 minutes after ordering without her checking on me, my side salad and entree came out at the same time and the recommenced potatoes were unseasoned regular fried potatoes. The server didn't come check on once after delivering my food (I may have wanted to order a glass of water with my meal in addition to my glass of wine). Once she finally came back I asked for the check and told her the potatoes definitely didn't look like baby reds and couldn't have been garlic because there was absolutely no seasoning on them- not to mention I swear I tasted mold. Her response "Oh sorry there's a new cook, but at least I tried to recommend something good". read more

I just went through what for me, was a traumatic experience. I live in Clackamas and for years now have enjoyed stopping by Wichita Pub on my way home from work. To decompress and enjoy good food & a drink or two. Today was a quite different. I was sitting at a table by the front window, and watched a man leave two dogs by the bushes in front of the parking spaces. One he tethered to a bush, the other he seemed to give a command to. The dog laid down. Then the man left and came inside. Here's the unfortunate part for me. I was attacked by a dog when I was 5. If I hadn't stumbled and fallen, he would have ripped out my throat out instead of just ripping a hole in my ear. I have PTSD from that to this day and I am almost 60 years old. So these two dogs (who I'm sure are great dogs and obviously well trained), were right in front of where my car was parked. It was incredibly hard for me to walk to my car and get in to drive away. I kept telling myself, you're ok - get over it, it was a long time ago. And I was ok. But, I then decided to call Wichita Pub to let them know there was an off-leash dog outside their restaurant, and that maybe they should be aware of this. I was told: "If you have a problem - you should have confronted the person who owns the dogs." I am still, astounded. I hope Wichita Pub owner(s) are paying attention. This is unacceptable - not just about the HUGE liability of seemingly being ok with having patrons leave their dogs off leash in front of your establishment. But, when someone like myself calls - to have this be the answer. Unbelievable. read more

It's basically a living version of the dive-bar that nightmares are made of. It's not like Portland divey, it's crap divey. I've been to Wichita's in the past, and nothing in this place has changed in years, with the exception of the food. It went from awesome to pure crap. It's all frozen and cheap. You can get better food at Bugerville or Wendy's. As far as atmosphere, it's exactly what a pub with no identity looks like. It wants to be a sports bar, but lacks that certain feel. My husband and I love Wichita Pub. They have awesome burgers and good fish and chips. The grilled cheese is pretty awesome as well as their breakfasts. I am sorry to say that the quality of the food at this pub has declined dramatically. Our family has frequented this place for years. The food was delicious, reasonably priced and served in good quantity. Everything from the meat in the hamburgers to the water laden, cheap condiments have made today's meal there our last time we will come. Went to this location for a family birthday gathering. First stepped in, a lot of tables that hadn't been cleared and cleaned, had to wait 5 minutes for someone to clear. Women's bathroom looked like it hadn't been touched in a while, dirty mirror, a lot of paper on floor, graffiti on walls. A lot of graffiti on walls in pool area, a lot of staples in walls, very dirty. Our waitress was ok at meal time then we got totally ignored when we went to play pool. Consistency lacks visit by visit, my reuben sandwich was half the thickness from other visits. Fries were not cooked thoroughly. Beer luck warm. This place is going DOWN fast.
