Friends told us about this store and it lived up to all the hype. The first row is all wheat free and some dairy free...it's well priced. They're also the only place we can find butter made from soy. I met one of the owners and he told me his wife had food allergies so they are very devoted to my daughters issues. My wife shops there all the time now--she says they always have new products for our daughter to try ...it's a godsend for us.

This store is small but it is densely packed with a lot of organic options. Very clean and organized. They have a lot of unique products that can't be found in other grocery stores. The layout of the store is stratigically like a maze that would take you through the entire store leading to the cashier. The produce section is small. They tend to have a lot of clean organic food, which I love. I truly believe in their organic philosophy on their website. There are way too many nasty chemicals in foods these days. It is nice that Mom's organics exist. My only complaint is the price. I'm my opinion, they are overpriced. Look at the price of the coconut water in my picture. Compare it to Costco or Amazon and you can see the difference, even at this store's "sales" price. Overall, this is a much needed store but if it remains expensive, I don't think it will replace Wegmans nor whole food. Wegmans still give better value for $ on their organic foods.

I would recommend the mini snackle boxes and raw pressed juices. Those could actually be useful for a nearby beach trip and I liked that they use glass jars. The woman running the cafe section of the store was very hospitable, but as other Yelpers have mentioned some of the other store associates were less than enthused. I kind of get it though, Newport's upper echelon isn't the easiest clientele to interact with so I would probably get a little stoic over time as well.

Tried the lemon tea with a Mandarin shot of aloe and it was very tasty. Didn't try the protein drink as it was close to dinner and I didn't want to be full. All of their protein was Herbalife. No food is served here, just protein drinks and teas. Week day hours for Monday - Friday are 9:00am - 7:00pm. Seems strange to have an establishment offer protein drinks and teas yet they don't open till 9:00. I will have to stop by on a Saturday between 10 - 2 (their Saturday hours) to try a protein drink.

One improvement they need to make is on the smoothie bar. They have regular straws and the drinks are thick, so it's really hard to use a regular sized straw on a thick shake. Get bigger straws!!! They're cheap and easy to find and will make the smoothies a lot easier to drink. Other than that minor complaint I like this store a lot and will continue to use them for new ideas.
