I'm sure this is one of those 'once you're in, you're in' places but I couldn't find a single employee where I either understood their service lingo or had availability in the next few days. I'm not rating their service-they seem extremely talented. I was just disappointed I couldn't try them out after spending 20-30 minutes on their site and being within walking distance of their business.

From the start, I was already trying to push through the pain. 1. She was drilling the outside of my nails while she was trying to remove the gel I had come in with. 2. She cut my nails in basically triangles or random lengths. 3. She's buffing my toes and not even my actual toe nails HARD AF mind you. 4. She's pulling my cuticles HARD (I don't even grow a lot of cuticle) 5. She finally pulled so hard she drew blood and didn't say anything. NOT ONCE DID I HEAR AN "oh sorry about that" OR ANYTHING. At this point I'm speaking up for myself and telling her she's being too rough. Guess what she said? She said, "your nail is ingrown!" NO THE FUCK IT WASN'T. I have ZERO ingrown nails. I'm telling her to stop working on my feet cause she kept being rough! So at this point she's trying to say "oh well I already cut all of them" and I said I was ok with paying for it, but stop working on my feet!!! THAT IS HOW BAD IT WAS. I WAS WILLING TO PAY FOR SHITTY TREATMENT AS LONG AS IT MEANT IT COULD STOP. She's still trying to exfoliate my legs and I'm like stop! Then she sprays alcohol ON ALL THE CUTS SHE GAVE ME. Now it just BURNS, part of me thinks she did that on purpose too cause you see all the blood coming out and you wanna spray it with alcohol??? Ridiculous. I'm too nice to say anything, but she deserved a great yelling!! She FINALLY left my feet alone and said "it's ok you don't have to pay" SO WTF were you arguing with me for??? Talking about, "I'm almost done with the pedicure" I told you to STOP and she tried to keep going! I left and headed straight to a new business that actually treats people right!! There they painted my nails brown and had to work with the ugly shaped nails. Just to be clear: I got my nails painted elsewhere so all the cuts I got were made here. I truly wish I had spoken up for myself earlier and I would have way less cuts / trouble walking because of them.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by smiling friendly faces. The solan is nice and clean and does not smell like step by chemicals that others often do. They were all so nice and friendly and helped us with exactly what we wanted. A big shout out is that they took their time with our toes and really shaped them up and made them look good. Even working tirelessly on my husbands bad military feet with ingrown toe nails. (Yes he gets pedicures regularly) This was by far the BEST experience we have had when it comes to pedicures. Second, I haven't had a mani or pedi in several years after becoming more educated about the toxic chemicals that are *routinely* used in this industry. Once you learn a little, you can't unlearn it and you think differently about nail spas. Third, this salon rocked it. In my hour and a half pedi, which speaks to the attention to detail, all by itself, I observed several folks come and go, watched staff clean and disinfect not only the basin and tools, but also the seats and the headrests. Not just spraying the basin down but really scrubbing it and rinsing really well. Thank you! Small things like using no plastic to seal the tools means less for our landfill. Using hand towels and requiring every customer to wash their hands before each appointment, and staff to wash before and after - these little things add up. My pedi? It was heavenly. Yes, I splurged and it was completely worth it. Every polish and shellac polishes are all non toxic - this matters as these are going right on your nail bed. So excited to have found a clean, non toxic and high quality nail spa. Already looking forward to returning!
