It's even more unbelievable they were open on the 4th of July! It was awesome Paul answered the phone, he let me know he would be open today. I was super happy when I found out I could pick up an ice cream birthday cake for the bbq we're going to. I picked up a quarter sheet ice cream cake and everyone loved it! Several people wanted seconds of the delicious ice cream cake. They also have a variety of ice cream which will be a great excuse to come back next time we're in the area. Paul is the owner of Hershey's Ice Cream & more and an incredibly funny guy. Not an overpowering mint flavor but instead, this flavor is refreshing and very tasty. Paul is always super friendly and very generous with his scooping! A small ice-cream cup which is one scoop, you get almost 2 scoops, for $4.00. The interior may catch you off guard, it has always been messy as others have described in their reviews, but, once you're there, and talking with Paul, it really won't make a difference! Plenty of flavors to choose from, both cream-based and water-based with quite a few sugar free options if that's what you're into. They also have soft serve ice cream as well as hard ice cream. It's family friendly, mostly high school girls working the counter who are usually very pleasant. There are a few tables to sit at at this particular location, and there's a bench outside. A classic summer time after dinner treat.
