Service at the butcher shop was awesome, I was looking for a few large fillets, the gentlemen chopped them up and air sealed them for the ride home. They tasted amazing! They have great selections of beef, pork, chicken, and even duck! They have cuts of meat I couldn't even find at the West Side Market!! Really! They'll cut steaks to any thickness you desire, but chances are, it's already in the case. They have tomahawk steaks and every other prime cut with exquisite marbling. K&K also has the always elusive guanciale if you're a fan of authentic carbonara, as I am. I was spoiled in Rome, and now thanks to K&K, I can make carbonara just as I had it on the Borgo Pio. The meat here is fresh and has all the cuts you want. They also have a nice curated selection of wines and other condiments worth considering. Don't get me wrong, I love the West Side Market, I can walk there from where I live. However, it's worth getting in my car and driving to K&K.
