It was only three shoppers scanning and she spent most of her time helping another dude and seemed irritated by my raised hand w/vocal help request. It appears every food market has at least one knucklehead on board. Btw, no cashiers, self checkout only. The food choices were good and had items not seen much in the area, like the lobster balls I copped. There are lots of tables where you can eat. If I worked nearby and got an hour to grub this would be my main lunch spot. I love the ambiance of the store. Being my first time I navigated each aisle to find out where things were. The bok choy was delicious that just recently, in April 2026, I drove by Fairfax and almost thought of going in to buy bok choy but I had a long day and I was too tired to stop. So I got it for $19 bucks a week. My next box is this week. I got kale, zucchini, cucumbers, dill, blueberries, potatoes, kohlrabi, beets, peas, and an onion. Then we bought chocolate chips cookies and also a bag of english muffins. I made potato salad with the red potatoes and kohlrabi, and dill. We had breakfast sandwiches with the muffins they are big and really good! And I've made the various other veggies throughout the week. I am looking forward to this weeks box. I pick up at the Hudson stop. The lady who helped us was very nice. And they set up in a large space so you can see them and it's a good large window of time to get your stuff. Overall good experience and the veggies were fresh and good. I like that you're getting this from the source farmer. I like supporting a local farmer. Depending on your time and your means this could be a good alternative to shopping at corporate stores. Or maybe if you hate shopping for veggies. They have carnivore boxes and also vegan boxes. The customer service is personal and prompt. They go out of their way to be accommodating. The value is outstanding. No way I could purchase the same amount or quality at a local grocery chain. The owners also clearly care about their farming partners as much as they care about their customers; the weekly newsletter that accompanies the weekly offering often highlights a farmer and their product and shares insights on what it takes to produce honest, local food. I have looked for CSAs in MI and WA state for my adult kids and there is nothing available as extensive as Fresh Fork. It is a true gem in NEO.

They have a nice selection of Gallucci branded goods like pasta sauces and even cater to restaurants prepared foods like meatballs and eggplant cutlets. The spice section is nicely priced too. During my first visit to Gallucci, I bought some dried cilantro ($1.44) and minced garlic ($4) as well as a small orange flavored almond nougat candy that I impulsively bought for about 0.50 and then immediately regretted not buying more! The minced garlic unfortunately got all in between my teeth when I used it on a dish the next day. Sadly, I was looking for more of a snack collection than they had here. Or even some frozen desserts like gelato or panetone or those delightfully sinful Mulino Bianco Galleti cookies I dream of eating again. Most of what is here is good for making homemade pizzas and sandwiches. That's pretty cool although it was interesting that they closed up the deli counters way before their 6pm closing time when I stopped by a couple of days ago. A muffaletta sandwich sounded good at the moment haha! If I am ever in the area again, I would like to try something from the deli counter and pick up a sauce or two!

I did get some Janka pierogi and they were very good. I've never had pierogi that size before--they were huge. I followed the package directions and they cooked perfectly.
