The decor and music choices marry the Latin-inspired cuisine with a classic Rehoboth east-coast beach sensibility. I was made to feel warm (at heart, they still have AC to keep ya cool) and welcome. The highlight was the service. The man (I believe the owner himself) was the cheeriest and kindest man I've met all week. He encouraged all of our choices and offered us to try the delicious beverages (tamarind was my favorite!) Food was served quickly and with a smile. I was very satisfied even though I must admit I kept my choice pretty standard with the Little Missionary. While just a footlong with mayo, ketchup, and mustard, it really hit the spot when I just wanted more of a plain hot dog. My friends got the Little German and Little Cock which were coated in all manner of ingredients. My friends were so content, they got another dog to go. Need a quick bite from one of the friendliest guys in Rehoboth Beach (and that's tough list to top)? Please give them a try.

Great little Puerto Rican American Ethnic food in Rehoboth, sampled a few items today not at all disappointed. Will go back.

Someone hyped this place up to me as an awesome hotdog stand/bar, and I didn't believe them. What…read morean idiot. This place absolutely rules. The food is excellent. The Chicago Dog would hold its own against the best Cook County has to offer (shoutout Portillos), and the Cheesesteak Dog is a legitimately delicious cheesesteak. The cheese fries also kill it. Awesome. The drinks are excellent too. The orange crush, dangerous. My brain did the Simpson's "I'm in danger" meme, because they are crushable and apparently quite alcoholic. Big time yum from me. The service is also great and really friendly. And even the bathroom is great; it's roughly 10x cleaner than you'd think for a combination bar and hot dog stand. All in all, this is a total gem.

It sits right on the southern border of town, overlooking a peaceful waterway lined with beach houses, the perfect "you've arrived" moment. They specialize in gourmet hot dogs (we are obsessed with hot dogs and fun toppings), but the menu goes way beyond that: vegetarian hot dog swaps, quinoa chili, cheesesteaks, wraps, burgers, tacos, and crispy seafood. The vibe is casual, beachy, and welcoming and leashed pups can hang out at the picnic tables on the outdoor deck. We loved it so much we ended up going back a second time. That's when you know it's good.

We just stopped in the other day. Got a couple orders of chili cheese fries for the wife and kids, I grabbed two delicious creations of hotdog and the little boy had the standard chicken tenders and fries. You can't beat hand cut, french fries and hand battered chicken tenders. The hotdog's are always solid and chili is the perfect accoutrement for all dishes. The hostess hands-down goes above and beyond her job. I'm assuming she must be family because she cares a great deal about the customers and the business. A+ spot on. Maui Dog House - in! I tried the "Forget About It" dog (fun combo of cheese, chili, and bacon), plain fries, and the "Salty Balls" (buttery potatoes). Honestly, the food was just okay, but the menu is huge, and I'm hoping to try the mac salad next time. For a family-owned spot, I didn't feel that warm, welcoming vibe, and after reading the owner's responses to reviews, I wasn't thrilled. Hopefully that changes--Yelp is about sharing honest experiences. Overall, it was an okay visit. I'd give it another shot, especially to try more of the menu and the fun dog bowl presentation in person.

The wall of pups greets you on the way in and brings a smile right away. We started with crispy onion rings that have a good flavor in the breading. The sauce is thinner but works perfectly with the rings. Great service from start to finish. All of our burgers were excellent. I didn't add any food pictures because the ones here were amazing enough already, but make sure to try Ava's Signature Seasoning on your fries (but don't try and walk away with it)!

Gives a warm welcome as you enter. The staff is nice. About 2 or 3 servers are walking the restaurant, seeing if you need anything. The food itself is okay.. the sauce on the burgers (we ordered the Hammy's favorite and Blondes Have More Fun), actually stole the show, more than the actual burger itself. THE WINGS, also... stole the show. We ordered thai chili wings too (Big Ol Wings, also pictured), good choice. Now these milkshakes, also fire. My boyfriend and I ordered the strawberries & cream and the unbirthday cake milkshake (both pictured), and the server for sure was not wrong, when he said the fan favorite was the strawberries & cream. I would love to come to Hammy's again, for some wings & milkshakes. The burger, eh.. I wouldn't mind trying another option that they have.
