We go to breakfast here quite often, food and service has always been very good and well priced. Went for dinner once and ordered Stuffed Flounder which was surprisingly very good, didn't expect much but it was very tasty. Place is easy to get in most mornings, rarely a wait. read more

Keep driving and say a hard no. This restaurant is in serious need of a "Restaurant Rescue" makeover. The Crab Florentine was disappointing, the poached eggs were cooked so long they were essentially hard boiled. The only bright spots were coffee and the staff, who were friendly and attentive. I have passed by here many times and it is always empty looking. Today I actually stopped for a late lunch-nobody in there but owner and server. They had specials listed and it was buy one entree get one free and a free rice pudding. The veggie of the day was mixed veggies. Soup was Mushroom barley which was pretty decent. Our server was a bit gruff and never offered refills. We chose the meatloaf and the stuffed shells. It came with soup, a salad or an additional side. Mom ordered meatloaf with mashed and gravy and with the mixed veggies. She chose the soup. We were still eating our soup when the entrees came out-a pet peeve of mine.I hate stacked meals! No need for it in an essentially empty place! No mixed veggies came out. We were told it would be an up-charge since she had soup and mashed. WTF? At least the meatloaf was decent to Mom. My stuffed shells were A bit odd tasting. Maybe Greek style sauce? Ok better yet we order our "free" rice pudding. Nope they didn't make any that day- on specials board. No offer of a substitute dessert. Mom got the Cheescake with Strawberries. I can see why they are always empty. Open 24 hours 7 days a week and I am all for the local businesses but avoid it if you can. read more

I met a friend at Rehoboth Diner today for brunch. We were coming from different directions & wanted to meet somewhere for a bite where we would not be rushed and we could catch up. This place is on the busy strip out beyond the outlets. It was not crowded, but there were a couple of other tables filled when we arrived around 11 am. We both ordered the spinach and feta omelet with hash browns. The omelet was yummy and the hash browns were nice and crispy. The coffee was also very good, and the server was pleasant. I got the Senior shrimp platter for $17.99. I got 6 medium way overcooked shrimp and two onion rings. It was terrible. The coleslaw was "Meh" but the bowl of crab soup was good. My daughters shrimp in the shrimp basket were very small and also way overcooked. We won't be back. read more

Was looking for a good diner in the area while we have been down here Rehoboth and a quick Google search brought this place up with some 4-5 star reviews. When we got here, the parking lot is in the back of the establishment and it wasn't too crowded around 5:30pm on a Monday. When we came inside, the host was very kind (although dressed in what looked like just regular casual/street type clothes but whatever) and seated us immediately. The vibe in the diner is ambient actually and more natural lighted. There are more direct spotlighting on top of the tables rather that some other diners are super bright inside. The waitress we had was very sweet and very attentive. As for our food and drinks, we ordered coffees and it took a little bit to arrive due to our waitress making a fresh pot for us :) The burgers were juicy and thick, bun was crispy although it sort of reminded us of a McDonalds burger bun not going to lie. There was a LOT of cheese on the burgers and it made the burgers really greasy which in turn, made the buns soggy after sitting for like 5 mins. The fries were good, standard diner fries. The only reason I knocked off two stars was because: A. the overly greasy burgers with no lettuce, tomato or onion (wasn't even asked especially for my cheeseburger you would think ) B. we ordered those mozzarella sticks in the middle of the picture of our food as our appetizer and it came out at the exact same time as our entrees and it wasn't really that hot (warm enough) but it showed that it was just sitting in the kitchen then entire time our entrees were being made. Interesting local diner, I do recommend giving it a chance because the staff were so friendly and food wasn't terrible. read more

Wow, will not be returning to this diner. Wait staff is rude, argumentative and gets orders wrong with no apology. They are now incapable of producing even a decent order of scrambled eggs and hash browns. No surprise that it was nearly empty at noon on a Sunday. I hope they figure things out. read more

Foods always great and servers are classic diner sweethearts. She was very polite with all my grandmothers questions about the food/establishment. It's a usual diner inside although a little dark. They post they are 24/7 but this sometimes changes. Food was standard diner but I didn't love how they do their hash browns. My bfast sandwich was excellent and their use rapa scrapple! It's a bit pricey for the portion sizes. read more

This was the worst diner experience have ever had. I did not even order anything as I have dietary issues and it he waitress did not understand a word I was saying. I did order a coffee it was definitely sitting around for a good 12 hours as it was disgusting. My daughter ordered sprite bc they were out of lemonade and it was not sprite. Everyone said their meal was about a 1 or 2 out of 10, certainly not worth the 45 minute wait. My Mother and niece never received their salads or French fri that came with their meals. I had a mediocre experience here. Walked in on a Sunday morning as a single diner and was seated promptly. Ordered pancakes, eggs, and sausage. While my server was indeed attentive, the food took a little longer than expected to arrive. It was also somewhat underwhelming as the pancakes were a little crispy. Buyer beware...they will ask you if you want certain things with your meal and make it sound like they are options and included, but when you get your bill, you actually paid more for those things. I'm not sure where to start. We couldn't find the entrance for a minute, but it's in the back near the farthest side of the parking lot. When you walk in, you'll notice it needs some decor repairs and/or updating. It is very dark and well used. When we're there about 2pm and there were 3 tables of customers. We were seated right away. We ordered Turkey and dressing and a salad. No blue cheese, so I ordered Italian. They really give small salads. The turkey arrived hot, but again, not much on the plate and very little stuffing. The burrito was good, but they don't have provolone. The mozzarella was a fine addition instead. The fries were seasoned and good. This place looks like it's struggling, but there are a lot of places nearby that are busy ..Lunch was $30, not really worth it. The kicker was they charge .70 for a small amount of lettuce on the burrito. We won't be back. Unfortunately. read more

Five stars all the way for a diner. My sister and I had two different entrées and I apologize for not taking photographs but we enjoyed both of them very well. Additionally, my sister frequents the Rehobeth diner about four times a month and has reported to me that it's always fantastic. From what I saw when I looked around it is definitely family run. Our server was accurate and attentive. We were here in January In the off-season in the middle of the week so it wasn't crowded but with food and service this good I could imagine that this could be really busy during the summer months. So like the locals I'll stop by anytime I'm down in the area in the off-season. read more

Terrible experience at the Rehoboth Diner. Service was amateurish and unprofessional. The host who seated us (who turned out to be the manager) was sloppily dressed and unkempt (I thought he was a dishwasher). After being seated it took 15 minutes for a server to acknowledge our presence. The restaurant was not busy; maybe four other tables were occupied. Where were the servers?? We were never given water, not notified of any specials, nothing. The server just (finally) appeared and said "what do you want?" We ordered main courses with salads to start. Server brings the main courses, no salads. "Where are the salads, which should be served before the main course" we asked. Server seemed surprised at the question and scurried away to find the salads, which appeared after we had eaten 2/3 of our main courses. Food was underwhelming and "meh." No desserts were offered; perhaps they didn't have any??? The dessert display case near the entrance was 3/4 empty, save for a few random pieces of old, tired looking cake. Very negative, unprofessional vibe and ambience here; virtually empty at 7 PM on a summer Friday night. Wonder why? Bottom line: dreadfully underwhelming in all respects. Never again. read more

The Rehobeth Diner was a unique experience, to say the least.  When we arrived around 11 am, it was busy and most tables were taken. Atmosphere: The Rehoboth Diner sticks out on the main road. It's not a big, shiny, metallic diner, but the "24-7" can't be missed. The inside of the Rehoboth Diner is average size. You walk in next to a bakery.  There are several booths, tables, and a bar. We were sat at a table between booths. It's my least favorite seating, but there are minimal choices when it's busy. Coffee: The coffee at the Rehoboth Beach Diner was average. It wasn't the best nor the worst, but it was decent coffee. I could have used more. Food: The Rehoboth Diner menu has most everything a regular diner has. Since we got to the Rehoboth Diner around 11 am, we were only given a breakfast menu. I'm sure I could have asked for a lunch menu but decided breakfast was fine.  I decided to order the steak and eggs. When it came out, I was disappointed that my steak wasn't that big (for a $16 breakfast meal). Interesting because the Rehobeth Beach Diner is known for its big portions. The steak itself was cooked medium rare, but it was bland in flavor. I chose scrambled eggs and rye toast. Everything was good, but not great.  Next time I go, I'll probably order something else. Service: To preface, our waitress was great. She was friendly and working hard. The manager came by our table midmeal and asked us to move tables so another party could sit. It wasn't a big deal, but weird.  As we were leaving, a man came storming in to talk about "how unhappy he was." Would I come back? It wasn't the worst nor the best diner I've been too. Was close to our motel so we stopped in for breakfast while on vacation. There was only one server and yet service was still pretty fast considering. I got the eggs Chesapeake my mom got the special which was a scrapple omelette and my dad had creamed chipped beef on French toast. No tableware to start out. Drinks were wrong, still no tableware for coffee.eal came mostly right but then had to wait for tableware to eat. Food was ok,. I better, no worse. Table next to us got their food, picked at it quick then got up and left everything. Bathrooms were disgusting nothing flushed, urinals filthy, floor unkept. Thank God there was soap and hand towels.
