I don't have much confidence in the reviews on this page since there are only 14. There have got to be more folks who have something to say. So here is my 2 cents worth. Enjoyed the food. They don't have one in San Antonio. I do remember eating here when I was a young girl. Decided to bring my own kids. They enjoyed it as well. The cashier was really nice. The kitchen area is a big open space but it was kept clean. They did not mess up our large order. Everything was correct and hot. The price was fantastic for what you got. I am a huge foodie and it's nice to have something out of the norm every now and then. This was definitely it. Overall. Loved it!!!! read more

Tried this place again and the quality of food has really gone downhill. Polish dog had very little kraut and the pickle was soggy and past it's prime. Her polish sausage sandwich had to be returned because of wet bread,could not even pick it up. These new owners need to step up or this place will not make it. If you are broke and need food, come on down to Wienerschnitzel. The food is great for an empty stomach or a late night hangover. I loved this place when I was in Texas sixteen years ago. It was cheap too, and on a college budget that helps a lot. I use to always get the frio pie which of course came with fresh frio chips and some sort of chili and cheese. The staff was helpful too. They didn't treat the customer like they had other things to do, which gives them an A+ in my book. I cant wait to get back to this fast food slice of sheer greatness. read more

When I come here its typically after I I go grocery shopping and don't wanna come home to make food. I get the family pack which is 6 chili dogs 3 fries and feeds my family for 9.99. Now its not the prettiest chili dog but it's delicious and I quite enjoy the fries. When I want to be a real fatty I throw in some Chili Cheese fries. I recommend these highly if you like the chili like I do. read more

Flies and more flies inside at front counter and inside on the window. I counted at least 6 flies during my time waiting for my order. Came here from out of town, wanted to try Wienerschnitzel, the hot dog and chili cheese fries were great. Also had corn dogs and tried hamburgers. Food was good, also while we were waiting the back cooking area had a long cloud of smoke coming from it and the front area started to smell smoky. The flies on the front counter and window really are unacceptable and shouldn't be there, if proper pest controls are followed. I would give less stars if it was possible. The restaurant smelled like sewage. There was water dripping out of the ceiling in the kitchen by the fryer. They were out of fry holders so the fries were served in a cup. The best part was the women's bathroom was locked so I had to use the men's room that had no paper towels. The female employees had the key for the women's room so only they could enter it. Don't know for sure what they were doing in there but they must have horrible allergies as I could hear them snorting from the lobby. This was once a great place to grab a hotdog but it has gone down hill so much I won't be back. read more

I stopped here for a quick meal. I had the junkyard hot dog and it was as expected. A chili cheese hotdog with grilled onions, mustard topped with about 10 fries. Service was very slow. Not only was our order wrong, so was nearly every order they put out. 1/2 of our order was missing. We ordered 2 shakes , one came out at the end of the meal the other we never got. Asked for difference on the money for a shake and we would take a coke instead. They cheated us on the difference. Would you like some SNOT with that? First, the restaurant was empty and it was only 8:14 p.m. There were 3 staff members on duty but I couldn't get anyone to wait on me including the girl who was standing next to me fiddling with a trash can. When I did get service, the clerk took my debit card and immediately wiped snot from his nose onto his hand and then dropped my fries in! He never washed his hands while I was watching, and I did not actually see anyone making my chili cheese dog with mustard, but I received what looked like an hour old, lukewarm wiener sans mustard. Whose to say there was snot on it too? My debit card has certainly been sanitized. Anyway, the drink was delicious. I got my order to go, and by the time I got to the van, grease had seeped through the bag. Yum. Needless to say, I will not go back. The place is clean, but damned there is no such thing as customer service anymore. Oh, as a plus, as I was walking towards the door I entered to EXIT, the girl started mopping. We don't eat here very often but my husband loves there chili cheese dogs so once every few months we run through here. The food is what it is, it's not mean't to be 5 star food. But I will tell you every time we go through the drive through they are always the friendlies people. You can't say that about everywhere now days. read more
