The franchise owner literally had to come in and tell them to take my order, and some girl popped up from under the counter. like why are you hiding? I got my food HELLA fast, but the fries were like stupid soggy. had to have been sitting out for awhile. I've been here a few times in the past two years. The drive-thru is sometimes slower than it seems like it should be. Service isn't very friendly, and today, it wasn't complete. I went through the drive-thru and ordered three hot dogs and a chili dog. At the window, the server confirmed the order, then handed me the bag and said that was all of it. I didn't receive the chili dog, which I didn't notice until I got home. Four hot dogs, but only got three. It's disappointing, especially for such a simple order that the server confirmed. I need to know why there have been numerous times we have come to this restaurant and not been able to place orders. To begin with, and as others have stated, you can't simply walk into this fast food restaurant and place an order for carry out. I understand the plague has made its rounds and all, but this is literally the only food chain that keeps its doors closed. Either every employee there has COVID or they're afraid of sunlight. Secondly, the drive thru. Where do I start? How about the fact that you stand a better chance hitting the mega millions, than you do getting your order taken at this place. There have been at least three separate occasions over the course of six months that we have rolled through the drive-thru only to be told "our systems are down, we can't take orders." You have to be several levels of actual stupid to not know how to do basic addition, multiplication, or subtraction. I'm guessing WeinerShitsSmell doesn't supply their employees with pen and paper or calculators. But on the rare occasion their systems ARE working and the employees are getting paid to do more than sit with their thumbs in their mouths, you better believe your order will be wrong. Or if it's not wrong, you can bet you'll have your three large orders of fries thrown in a bag upside down like an inverted crucifixion. This is the worst fast food place in the world. As a pregnant lady I had a sudden urge for a wiener from the Schnitzle. As were pulling up to the drive thru wind in my hair and a wiener on my mind I glanced at the menu. What caught my eye was the frozen strawberry pineapple lemonade and a nice plumped chili dog. I told myself "Ah yes this will satisfy me". I waited 6 and half minutes to be heard on the intercom . A nice lady told " hi how can I take your order". I told her my order and waited about 5 minutes to get my total. Then I pulled up to the window and took my hard earned money instantly. This franchise owner has done the weirdest stuff since I moved up here 15 years ago. This is the Only Fast-food in the AV where you can't walk in to order ! The the drive-thru line is unbelievably long. I wonder how much money you loose when people don't want to sit in a Drive-Thru for 15 minutes to get some hot dogs. I almost drove away when we found the door locked. Yes there is Covid.. and yes every where else in the AV a person can walk in and order their food to go. you can go to the wienerschnitzel in Lancaster and walk in and order your food to go. people are really good about social distancing now so I don't think you'd have a problem with people staying six feet apart that are walking in to order their food.
