After driving across the world to stumble across this specific location, he was the first person to show me what was good on the menu and which he would recommend. About the only thing my wife and I eat here is the fries. These heavenly salted golden fried potato sticks are amazing and are Ridgecrest's most wanted fries ... prove me wrong. They taste fresh and don't taste enhanced or altered. They have always been served piping hot and in a large cup. This is the largest and hottest order of fries that you can get in town. If you like fries you will want to stop here and get their large fries. But be warned.. you may be full for the rest of the day. The large order packs a hefty calorie punch. Mustard goes great with these fries. The family and extended family come to Wienerschnitzel on occasion for our Sunday family lunch. We boys usually order the $10 Crowd Pleaser Deal.. this combo comes with all of their favorites! 3 Corn Dogs, 3 Medium Fries and 3 World Famous Original Chili Dogs. Finish this off with 3 sodas and they are happy as clams. Grandma will normally order them and their cousins a Tastee Freez mini hot fudge sundae when they finish loading all that food in their guts. Somehow they find an empty leg to fill with a sundae. Teenagers... Their restaurant is usually very clean and has a sterile feel. There's usually some oldies music playing in the background that will have you tapping your foot. Cold tile floors and steel chairs with a little padding to keep you long enough to finish your plate but not long enough to set up residency. The servers are usually friendly and are fast with putting your order together. They have several discounts posted near the register that you will have to ask for if you qualify. They have an over-sized parking lot that they share with Carls Jr. so there's always plenty of parking for Wienerschnitzel customers. They have a few handicap parking spots near the entry and a big tree that provides shade for 3 spots. There is room to park a tractor-trailer nearby. read more

Quite often when we travel, we pick a night where everyone gets what they want and we drive to three separate places to pick up food. Tonight I wanted to try Wienerschnitzel. My husband gives me such a hard time about the fact that I like hot dogs. I eat them about four times a year. Back off, hubs. I looked at their menu ahead of time and these folks love their chili. They want to dump it on everything. All I wanted was a hot dog with cheese and ketchup. That's what I ordered even though a "build your own" wasn't on the menu and the guy took it in stride. I also ordered a large fry and a soda and they gave me a combo discount. That was pretty nice since I assumed I'd just be paying for everything a la carte. The dogs were fantastic! No mind-blowing exceptional secret recipe, but I really liked them. The real winner, though, was those fries! OMG! I got a large order and they came in a large drink cup and there were so many they were spilling out. They were hot, salty goodness. Similar to the golden arches, but I think these are better. The drive-thru was super efficient for us. My food was fantastic, the service was great and now I wish I was back in Ridgecrest so I could go back and get another order! read more

At every step, these people went out of their way to make me feel welcome. At many locations, the employees couldn't care less whether you got your food or not and attitude shows up on every occasion. The person behind the register was paying attention and got everything right easily. I asked if they would mind if I worked on 1638 photos while I was there and I might stay a bit beyond eating. It wasn't a problem. I didn't get through all of the photos, of course. When the food was ready, he brought it to the table. That normally never happens at Wienerschnitzel for me. Even some Carl's Jr. locations refuse to do that. When someone else was emptying the trash, she asked if it would bother me since I was close to one of the receptacles. How considerate! It's usually difficult to give fast food places 5 stars but this one deserves them. The food was as good as expected. read more

I used to love their chili fries, but this time the fries were pretty salty. Did that stop me from finishing the rest? Absolutely NOT! The best part about this Wienerschnitzel is the fact that they sell Tastee Freez! My hubs and I split the chocolate crunch freeze and is now my current fav. I was really sad once I realized baskin robbins and rite aid were my only options for ice cream, but am uber stoked that W has a few delicious ice cream options. They also have daily ice cream specials, which is a huge plus! read more

I don't know how someone from out of town could say they're the best dogs in town. It just doesn't seem possible, given that this is mass produced feed. I came here for the chili cheese fries, which are a strange comfort food from my childhood. Now that that itch is scratched, I'm good for about a year. Del Taco's deluxe chili cheese fries will do until then! The NEX deli on the base is in a class above when it comes to good hot dogs. Heck, even the golf course can whip up something better if they feel like it certain days of the week. read more

i spent $50 on quite a few things and I have to say that this food was so terrible compared to how it use to be, there was hair in my jalapeño poppers and chili bacon ranch fries, the poppers werent even cooked all the way, the fries were hard, the bacon in the fries and poppers wasnt cooked correctly, bacon tasted like dog food, my dead grandmother can cook better than whoever is making an preparing that food, your business needs to be shut down because of lack of quality, im not going to spend 50 dollars on food that i could cook better myself, for a quarter of the price, im 16 years old and its sad that i can cook better than whoever this garbage ass restaurant has as their cook, i hope this place goes out of business, if not that then i hope every single last person who works there gets fired, the cook does NOT deserve a job read more

I've been to this establishment many times but never through the drive-thru. This time I chose the drive-thru I just wanted two chili dogs and a drink. When I noticed that they didn't give me napkins I waited and instead of coming back to the window and asking what I needed they went outside the back door and took payment from the car behind me came back inside process that payment then went back outside and returned payment to the car behind me then came back inside and proceeded to continue ignoring me. I honked my horn and they still ignored me I put my car in park and they finally came to the window and asked me what I needed at which point I said I just need napkins. They apologized and I was giving my napkins. I will never go through the drive-thru here again. I may come back with family Maybe. read more

The first thing I noticed was how clean this place was. I ordered a chili tamale and a mustard dog. I just moved to RC and have been living on fast food due to the move. This was the fastest service in RC so far! Impressed by the speed and freshness! This is definitely on the top of my RC choices! read more
