Service was fast and efficient. I used the drive thru. I ordered a chicken club no mayo on sourdough. It was okay to good. The guacamole didn't taste normal to me. It was overall a good sandwich and a decent size. Only ordered sandwich total was $12.01. We have popped in a few times when we've been in town. Quality of the food is what we expect from Habit (so, it's super tasty and well executed). You can walk up to the counter to order but it's clear from the two huge screens that you could walk into when you go through the door that they want you to put in your own order. Usually, someone behind the counter will call and hand us our cups for drinks. But once I had to walk over after a few minutes and ask. It didn't go great but eventually I got the two cups. They have a self serve with a nice selection of sodas and teas and lemonade. And there's a great garnish section with pickled jalapenos. There's catsup, salt, pepper, etc. It's an interesting setup for where you sit. There are booths next to the window, and a really nice outside area. In the center, there are 2 top booths, but I really like them. It's easy to get in and out of them. There are longer booths around the corner on the way to the bathroom if you have a larger group. The women's room has always been very clean and well maintained. We usually show up after 1pm for lunch, so you'd think the bathroom would be running out of toilet paper, but no! Really grateful they opened up in Ridgecrest. It's a nice place to take a break. read more

Barely anyone working. They didn't have the option to have a real human taking the orders had to use the bot. We Had a question about a swap, took forever to get any of their attention and they seemed irritated that we even asked. Took forever to just place the order. They out of Dr Pepper also. When we went to sit every single table was dirty and there is hardly anyone in the place. No wonder it's a ghost town in here. This is my third time at Habit. They say the "third time is a charm." WRONG. First time I received a hamburger with half-cooked meat with blood soaking my buns. Habit's response, a couple of coupons for a percentage off the next time I buy. And on my second visit to Habit, I ordered a chicken burger. Guess what. I got home and found a beef patty half-cooked. On my third visit to Habit, I figured they must have gotten their act together, so I ordered a burger and fries. When I went home, my fries were half-cooked and limpy. And the burger, I broke the meat apart and found several pink spots. How have they gotten away without killing someone with E. coli? Never again.... read more

I've been coming to this habit for quite sometime and food is alright but is always the same with the same woman I try to ignore her but is insane how rude she is with the nastiest attitude, I'm a paying customer and part of the fact that you are paying a food establishment is to get good food with great service, something everytime I come by is non existent with this chick, I asked her for an extra lettuce and she gave me the dirtiest look and I asked her is everything okay and she said "Yah" meanwhile she rolled her eyes at me, the craziest part was that I was able to smell alcohol on her breath which is crazy I mean I know people have lives outside of work but on the job smelling like vodka? also why is she allowed to use fake long nails if she is working in a fast food restaurant ? That's unsanitary she could barely use her hands with those nails. after she finished taking my order I asked her name "Helena" I believe it said and she pointed at the batch I said thank you and she said uh uh... And then she turn to some other girl and spoke Spanish to her I couldn't understand what she said but her english was broken so I could tell she was hispanic. rudest individual I have ever encountered. Waited my whole life to try this (38yrs old) This Cheeseburger 2/10 tastes like Dairy Queen or Fosters Freeze. Horrible and salty, the fries were 3/10. We waited a couple months after this place opened. We paid $28 for 2 burger and 2 fries. My elderly 80'year old mom paid and was super excited, we got home and here's the photo of the burger. I went through drive through ordered 2 habit burger meals. 1st lady that was at window was very nice I paid her and she told me it would be a few minutes which it was cool with. she vanishes and about 3 or four minutes later a different lady opens the window tells me my total and I tell her I paid the first lady she seems annoyed hands me my food but not my drinks and closes the window. SO I'm sitting there another minute or two trying to get her attention i ask her for my sodas (which she mentions by the way when double checking my order) she ignores me so I ask again louder and slower finally get my sodas. If you order water, be careful. They ask if you'd like a water glass or a large one. I ordered large, unbeknownst to me the large glass was. $2.89. When this Habit first opened; their hamburger buns were hard as if stale or something and really pissed me off. So I gave them a horrible review and had boycotted them for months. Today however, they had a four item combo on sale for $10. A LARGE soda, a sourdough bread cheeseburger with everything on it including GUACAMOLE !!!!, REAL chicken nuggets with unprocessed chicken meat(not that ground up and pink slime reglued together garbage which McDonalds serves), and a side of your choice(garden salad, french fries, or green bean fries, etc). The food was absolutely perfect! They even had a self serve bar that had perfectly mild jalapenos, as well as pepperoncinos, and those cute little yellow Guerrito chilies. The service was great! It's still a new restaurant, clean, with a great view of the surrounding hills, and the AC worked great. We had a wonderful time, and I had zero complaints which is very, very, very rare for me. I HIGHLY recommend this Habit as it is way, way better than any of the ones in Orange County. I cannot wait to go back again. And NO! Bought the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. It wasn't spicy and it was barely a chicken sandwich. The paddy was some like an oversized chicken nugget. It comes with coleslaw- the slaw was literally unsightly big chunks of carrots and tasted absolutely nothing like coleslaw. The whole thing was dry and in need of sauce. This place is great! Really good onion rings. Could've had more lettuce and grilled onions on the burger. I hope maybe a manager sees this review so they can fix that.
