Unfortunately the Caesar salad was actually a garden salad (tomato, carrot slivers, cucumbers and greens) with a side of dressing. The dressing was thick like paste. Decent salad bar but overpriced at $11.99 for how small it is. Fettuccine Alfredo was strangely watery but kid approved. Cheese ravioli was good and came with an abundance, which made it a good value. Hot, bone-in wings were pretty good but would be better served with some celery or carrot sticks. The establishment is large and has an arcade near the restrooms. Decor is like a hotel lobby more so than a pizza factory. Service was friendly and accommodating. You order and pay at the counter, then sit where you choose, and they bring you your food. Self-serve fountain drinks are nice. My kids were laughing at me getting seconds of macaroni salad but I swear it was bomb haha. P.S. they really do toss the pizzas- you can see them doing this as this part of the kitchen is open. We aren't local, but visit the area often. My son was craving pizza, so of course we chose Pizza Factory! The staff was very friendly and the pizza was tasty. The breadsticks were undercooked for our liking, but fine. Normally, I'd give them a 4-5 star rating for this visit. BUT... the SMELL is atrocious! Clearly there is a sewer issue going on here. We sat outside in the cold instead of staying in there one more minute. Some other customers said it's been this way for YEARS, since the earthquake, and the owners are aware, but haven't fixed it yet. They said they get their food to go. This has been a long time favorite of my family. The breadsticks are so delicious. The pizza is amazing. They have awesome toppings and different names for some of their pizzas. They have a barbecue chicken pizza that always hits the spot. Then comes the service! The workers are great and accommodating. They will try to get you the best deal. They give a military discount. I will even say the bathrooms are clean. The entire restaurant is sparkling clean. But........ Half the restaurant stinks like sewage. I don't know why it does. But before it was just the bathrooms inside that smell. It's now gotten bad. Please do something about it. Other than that I would have given 5 stars, but the smell is bad. read more

We were staying in Ridgecrest and heading to Death Valley National Park the next day, so decided to order pizza, which the kids convinced us travels better than other food. A quick review of Yelp revealed Pizza Factory to be the top choice in town. Two extra large pizzas were ordered (for about $70), mostly eaten the same evening, and then happily finished the next day, like the kids predicted. The pepperoni was enjoyed by the kids, but was a bit greasy for my liking. The missus and I preferred the Burroughs Special - which had a variety of meats, veggies, and mushrooms, and was covered so generously the toppings kept falling off! I ordered for carryout in my first visit to the factory and Ridgecrest overall. I got a large mushroom and pepperoni pizza with BBQ chicken boneless wings and garlic bread with pizza sauce. The pizza was really good with a decent thick crust and plenty of everything made to order. The BBQ chicken wings lacked a BBQ flavor but the ranch that came with it helped out. The Garlic bread was just right and made good with the pizza sauce. I wished there was a Pizza Factory in the South Bay where I live because I could stick to their consistency. I came to Ridgecrest and stayed for a week on business at China Lake. In that whole week I stayed, I have to say that the Pizza Factory was the most memorable meal. My boss had asked me if I've ever had peanut butter pizza and what do I think about trying it if she brings it to work. I responded with "What?! peanut butter pizza??!? I've never heard of such a thing, but I'm down to try it!". I tried to wrap my head around the concept and wondered if it was going to be good or not? Well, she brought both the Peanut butter pizza and the Cold pickle & pastrami pizza to our meeting at work. The peanut butter pizza blew my mind, because it's actually good! It works! Who would ever think that peanut butter pepperoni pizza would work.... But it does. I told friends and family back home about it and they couldn't believe it. So, on my last day in Ridgecrest, I had to stop by and pick up an Extra Large Peanut Butter pizza to take home with me. I was fortunate enough to meet Jeff at the counter and his customer service was top notch. Even the experience of picking up this pizza as my last meal in Ridgecrest was an experience in itself because Jeff is such a kind, welcoming, and caring person. You can get that in just a few minutes of being with him. Thank You to Jeff, I will definitely recommend the pizza factory as a must-try to my coworkers and friends coming to Ridgecrest. This is a franchise pizza business but unlike some franchise restaurants these vary by owner. This is a good one. They offer a robust salad / pizza buffet. The salad bar has a good selection of toppings and fresh romaine lettuce plus several dressings. The pizza varieties were extensive and somewhat unique. Our group really liked the pastrami & dill pickle pizza. Also good we're the bbq chicken, pepperoni & sausage, buffalo chicken and more. Plenty of long tables for groups plus booths. The Pizza Factory is assembling some pretty tasty pies and breadsticks at a good price! They have quite a few toppings to choose from, so we decided to go with the Burrough's special to try quite a few of them. We weren't disappointed. The veggies were fresh and crisp (a nice contrast to places who cook them to the point of mush) and the crust held up nicely to all of the toppings. The sauce had a good flavor and there was plently of stringy cheese that makes it that much better. The breadsticks were really good as well. They were soft, rich and buttery. Their nacho cheese sauce and honey butter were both great dipping sauces to boot! With friendly service that was quick and responsive to our needs on top of their good food, this one is definitely a win for Ridgecrest. Drew took great care of us and we will be back! Twice, we ordered from this same location and both times the pizza arrived correctly, hot, and with plenty of napkins, Parmesan cheese, and hot peppers. The delivery was prompt and the person who delivered it had a great attitude both times. I went ahead and gave them 5 of 5 stars.
