I've never been cussed at ordering food until today. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received at Wienerschnitzel today. After work, I went to get the free Mother's Day meal they advertised for mothers. The post only said that proof, such as a photo, was needed. It never clearly stated that the mother had to be physically present, otherwise I would have brought my wife with me. When I arrived, I politely explained the situation and showed them a picture of my wife as proof. Instead of simply explaining the policy respectfully, the employee gave me a horrible attitude the entire time. To make things even worse, under her breath she said "pinche baboso," which basically means "f-cking dumb-ss" in Spanish. I was honestly shocked and very upset by how disrespectful and unprofessional the interaction was. I simply told her that Jesus loves her and walked away, but no customer should ever be treated like that. I understand policies are policies, but there is absolutely no excuse for rude behavior and insulting customers. I always get my order correctly. The employees are very nice and quick in serving. Always greeted with a smile. The machine, not so much. I ask for soda water/bubbly water and it doesn't understand what I'm asking for. Lol Thanks to the employees for great service. read more

This is the original Der Wienerschnitzel . There is a bronze place on the side of the building noting its historic significance. The location has walk up and drive thru options. There is a small patio with limited seating. As well as plentiful parking. The drive thru is now AI ordering. The staff are nice and work effectively in the small kitchen. They have the full menu including Tasty Freeze. If you are in the neighborhood I recommend stopping by taste a bit of history. read more

If I could give this place a -0 I would, Customer service is terrible, manager got an attitude when I questioned why my order was $44 when it was an $8 coupon and a #1? Shouldn't of been no more than $25 bucks .... I had to ask her to give me my receipt so I can go over it myself because it it seemed a bit expensive for using a coupon. If I hadn't of asked she wasn't going to hand me my receipt even tho I used my card. Once I began to look it over I noticed She Charged everything as separate items and when I started to question, that's when it got really weird and it was stated they don't honor any coupons. Once she realized I was questioning the charged amount, she asked for my receipt back and she began to fumble on her register for a few and said she was keeping my receipt because she had charged me for an extra item and had to show her boss. I asked her for my receipt back and she refused. I stated I wanted to cancel my order because I wasn't going to purchase anything since she didn't want to honor any coupons and her terrible attitude which made it absolutely worse which, (mind you: I've never had a problem at any other location using any coupons) I asked to cancel my order yet again & give me a total refund since I no longer wanted anything to do with her or that nasty attitude or food since the whole situation just ruined the appetite and was told she couldn't do it. I ended up leaving with food I didn't want and a totally different view on how this company hires people and puts them in management with absolutely no customer service or management skills whatsoever. **I checked my bank statement once I got home and now it's being charged $34 instead of the $44. So, to tell me a corn dog was $10? I ordered same items on the app with no coupon and it's still cheaper then what she charged me. Now it makes me wonder how many customers are being over charged and not realizing it? I'll be sure to mention this to my family, friends and make sure its posted as a waring on any/all social media platforms in my city and surrounding regarding this location and the type service I received once I started to question being overcharged and if they chose to continue purchasing at this location make sure they ask for receipts every single time. Old school since 1961. I'm not a fan of this hot dog chain restaurant but when I found out it's the original and first location then I had to visit. My friend and I ordered the chili cheese dog and I requested onions and pickles to be added. The hot dog was pretty good but standard quality for this place. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars i would. I dont know many bad experiences i need to have from here to stop coming. Beware when ordering combos. They always ask if you want medium or large fries and drink without letting you know that the regular size of small if also an option. They upcharge you without you knowing. This is just shady. And speaking of combos, the new menu is awful. If you want to make an item into a combo, you save a whole .40 something cents. Wrappers are consistently inside your hotdog. All the condiments end up on the wrapper. Fries are always soggy. At least the chili quality has gone up since the last review i wrote. I used to pay around $30 for food for my family with extra items. Now its damn near $50 without extra items. $50 for hotdogs! Ridiculous! read more

Weenershitsle has never been that great to begin with. But it makes it much worse when a regular combo costs almost $15 and everything comes smashed up looking like it was assembled on the floor. The fries were stale no salt at all, they couldn't even bother to toss in a few ketchup packets. Felt like a real waste of $ getting food from here. read more
