I decided to take my grandkids out for an after-dinner ice cream treat. When I was a kid, Foster's Freeze was very popular, but my parents never took us there. I chose this location because of its rating. It's a small location with limited parking. The eating area was very clean. It was our first time there so it took a minute to navigate the menu. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Most of the customers sitting and eating were families. Even with young children, the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. That in itself speaks volumes. These people are idiots here do not come to this rude establishment who knows nothing about the franchise they own . Ordered 3 twisters got them , they were pathetic with just a little bit of the toppings on top. I asked the owner about this and he said you gotta pay extra lol . At $8 each are you kidding , then I asked if they should be blended because the stuff was just put on top and he says no they never come blended you have to mix them yourself . I told him I don't think so but he insisted. I went to corporate to find out and saw I was correct . They will have trouble at this location for sure . I certainly will not come back. Twister should be mixed or blended from the place , hence the name . Me and my Dad wanted to go get some ice cream after dinner so we went to fosters and got there at 9:28 but there was someone in front of us so we were looking at the menu. When they were done ordering we went up to order (at 9:31) and they refused to serve us. The girl said its too late and that the people in front of us were the last people they were serving. Also there was no one else in line besides us so its not like they were going to have to serve a bunch of people. Really disappointed we couldn't try there ice cream. read more

I love this Fosters Freeze location (and not just because it's only 3 minutes away from my house). It's a great place to go for delicious and affordable ice cream. Another perk is that this location also sells food like burgers and fries (unlike the one in Torrance). Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Over the years I've tried everything - from their sundaes to their chocolate dipped ice cream cones - and I've never been disappointed with a selection. My favorite thing to order would be a Twister. They come in a variety of different flavors (mint oreo, cheesecake, m&m, cookie dough, etc.) and are all super tasty. I believe that there are 4 different sizes of Twisters to choose from and you get a good amount of ice cream for the price you pay. They're also always coming out with new flavors too. This location is very small, but it's very clean and well maintained. There is lots of seating and parking available too. The service is quick - I don't think I've ever waited longer than 10 minutes for my order to arrive. Oh, and it's cash only but they have an ATM right outside. read more

It's not that nice, clean, or in that great of a location. And it's cash only. People giving it five stars must be doing so primarily out of nostalgia. The ice cream is extremely cheap and the serving sizes are huge. The ice cream is good for the price, but not stellar. Went in for the first time ordered the mint ice cream cup. It tasted nasty. Which sucked for me because I love mint ice cream! I had barely had a few bites from it. After I gather the courage to even say anything. I asked this young lady if I could get it exchanged and said why. Before she answered she gave the guy a look and the guy said that I had ate almost all of it. Which I showed it to the again. How I had a couple of bites only. I asked how is a full cup considered eating almost everything. To which the young girl replied "he didn't say you ate all of it. He said almost all of it." The meat has alot of taste and is very satisfying! The old fashion is a personal favorite of mine! The fries are really good, not the small kinds but the thick cuts of potatoes, goes good with the ice cream! The twisters come in a variety of flavors, snickers, butterfingers, m and ms, and so much more! I usually get the junior twister, is about 4-5 bucks! good enough for one, the bigger sizes are just too much for me personally and cost a bit more ofcourse. I usually eat my fries with my ice cream! good pair together! There's also an atm machine if you dont have any cash because they don't accept cards..which is good for their business so they dont have to pay extra for using cards. This is my go-to for ice cream. This is the only Foster's Freeze ice cream I step foot in. It's a small, humble atmosphere yet clean. They do not have public restroom which can be an inconvenience, however, right across the street you can go to the gas station if you have to go. They do offer sanitizing hand wipes for your convenience on top of the trash can. This is a cash only place, but they do have an ATM machine outside. I've tried their burgers and fries and they're delish! Their Twisters are amazing! They do their best to accommodate your orders if they require specialization. You can't beat their prices. Their customer service is also great. The married couple (I believe they might be the owners), are very humble and nice.
