I used to get the torpedo or turkey avocado as a younger person, which are probably still great! These days, I go with the beef dip with extra cheese and the au jus and marinara on the side. My hubs and I split it. I use the au jus, he uses both. I like getting a pickle cut into spears sometimes, but only on the occasion... and then a big bag of lays and some drinks we wouldn't normally get... a perfect lunch to take down to Paseo and eat at the park! You wouldn't think that a corner neighborhood market would have such great sandwiches, but it does! The guys behind the counter may not be super talkative, but they know their sandwiches! The pastrami dip is awesome too! I know many like the "Belly Buster," but that is too much for me! Haha! If you are looking for big iconic San Pedro sandwiches, this is the place to go! Just remember, they close at 5(so no dinner sandwiches) and they are closed on Sundays... I have forgotten that many o times... hehe!

The store is tucked away in a residential neighborhood and is SO cute! There's plenty of seating and lots of fun little knickknacks to browse while you wait. Not only do they have snacks and drinks, but they also carry handcrafted local goods, which makes the space feel extra special. I picked up a few snacks for myself and my pup (yes, they even have a pet section with an amazing variety of homemade treats!). The employee working was kind and offered suggestions on which pastry to try. He was warm, professional, and gave off a genuinely neighborly vibe. I'll definitely be back. If only you were a little closer! Such a charming local gem.

If you've been to Rascals, it competes pretty well with it. The burger tastes like any burger joint burger. But it's not bad! Fries are decent too. I like coming here too because the workers are friendly and efficient and the seating is outdoors. The weather is always nice in San Pedro and when you are craving something teriyaki.

The food itself is good, but for that price and that portion, it just doesn't make sense. This feels like something that should be around $6. So yeah... good flavor, but the portion for the price is way off.

The restrooms and dining room were freshly cleaned and had signs for safely. There was even a basket for old coffee grounds for planting and compost (although there weren't currently any to take.) The McGriddle I ordered was fresh and the iced coffee was great, not watered down or overly sweet. I'm pleasantly surprised by this superstar location; it looks like the staff care about their work environment, and it shows. Thanks McDonald's San Pedro team!
