Excellent selection and service! I made an appointment beforehand and had plenty of time to try on around 10 wigs. I selected one and she ordered it in the color I requested. It should be here in a week or so. I almost bought the other color because the wig itself was such high quality and was absolutely beautiful on me. All women working there were happy and positive. Jennifer and Michelle were both amazing in my search for a wig/topper due to my worsening hair loss from a stress reaction. I'm on a pill form of Minoxidil but I won't see results for some time. I wanted something close to my current hair color and style. Jennifer made that happen! Then her sister Michelle trimmed, layered and styled it to my liking. They gave me directions on wig care/cleaning, and gave me some sample size products and a special wig comb to get me started. I recently found out I was going to be needing Chemo so I thought Tuesday was the day to go looking for a wig with 2 friends. We walked in and immediately asked if I had an appointment. I didn't know, so no I did not. My friend asked if we could look around and she said yes, there no other customers in the store. We started towards the wigs and she loudly told us NOT TO TOUCH ANYTHING. OK, we did not touch. Then my other friend asked if we could look at wigs in the next room. We stopped in the doorway because I really like one and they did too. In the mean time a customer came in, I guess with an appointment. We were standing talking in the doorway and I said I need to make an appointment to come back, because I liked it. Woman working then told us "LADIES, I CAN'T HEAR MYSELF THINK WITH YOUR TALKING" Then offered an address to another store. I WILL NEVER, return to that store. I'm having a hard enough time finding out I have cancer and needing Chemo without being treated that way. She does not belong in this industry if she can't maybe think about what someone might be going through or up against. read more

When I found out I was losing my hair because of medication I was taking I was inconsolable. And it isn't like my hair was that great in the first place! It was very fine and thin and lifeless...but it WAS my hair! I'm one of those people who doesn't like anything that's fake so when someone I know suggested a wig I balked! And the hair kept falling out. I watched videos on YouTube and it depressed me and overwhelmed me. Real hair? Synthetic? Topper? Wig? It's a whole new world. I went to one person for a consult and walked away totally depressed. I couldn't afford what she wanted to do! I finally ended up getting a wig but it had to be styled so I called Wigs R U. Best thing I ever did! First I spoke to Vicky who was so easy to talk to and she understood my apprehension and tears and assured me they could help me so I made an appointment. When I went in the first time it was hard for me not to cry but I spoke to Vicky again and she was just awesome! She said, "wait until you meet my sister, Michelle! You will be so happy you came, trust me!". So I waited. I finally met Michelle and even though I could tell she was extremely busy she put me immediately at ease and told me she would make a topper for me out of the wig I had which would be easier for me in the coming summer months. Michelle knows her stuff for sure I felt confident I was doing the right thing and at a fraction of the cost the other person quoted me! These women don't treat you like you're a customer they treat you with special attention and understanding of what you're going through. A woman's hair is her crowning glory, so to lose it is a big deal! After I got the topper Michelle made for me it opened doors I never thought possible because now I can have ANY HAIR I WANT and it's okay! I was so afraid everyone who saw me would know I was wearing some type of hair piece but it isn't obvious to anyone and Michelle has made me look 20 years younger (so I've been told!). Several of them have had cancer; all of them know how devastating the process of hair loss can be. Not only are they superb at helping people get hair that looks great but they're also amazing at making it a positive experience. Can't say enough good things about them. Obviously you don't have to have had cancer or alopecia to come here. They are great with everyone. If you're a floofy person you're good. I love this shop and the sisters that own and run it. Women visit the shop for many reasons including medical for alopecia and during cancer treatment when patients lose hair. OMG this place was absolutely amazing! We brought a friend with stage four breast cancer and Jennifer opened up the shop on a Saturday when she is typically closed. She did a great job helping our friend feel comfortable with the process of change. Zero Customer Service !! Rude actually.... Walked in this afternoon after my hair appointment, which was recommendation from Salon Hermosa! (steps away), what a horrible experience! I was ignored by the older gal at front desk, she hung up her call and NEVER said hello, never smiled, never asked how can I help you, nothing. Literally was ignored! She just walked off and I waited a few minutes then just walked out. It took me courage to do this and to be blatantly ignored, was disgusting. I was referred to this place by someone else that I had asked where she got her hair cut because it was beautiful. She told me it was a wig and I couldn't believe it. My hair is very thin so I was excited to hear this. I went to Wigs R You and tried on a couple. Ended up getting a Topper which is something that connects to your regular hair but there was also a wig there that was very cute. Here are pictures of the wig and topper. The shorter one is the wig, and the topper that I got before it was cut. Athen a picture of me after it was cut. The people are very nice and what is cool is that they can cut the wig or topper to make it fit your style. Update: just went back to get a new topper. Jennifer is so nice and helped me find the perfect one. So thankful for this place. The atmosphere is so nice and everyone that works there is so helpful. read more

I've never had such a bad experience- EVER - when going to this horrid, outdated "salon." I had cancer a long time ago & was obsessed with my hair ever since. It used to be thick & long. Then it wasn't. It never returned as it was, so I chkd out toppers (like wigs, but much lighter& cheaper & doesn't cover like a wig. I checked a few & they were first to respond so I went. 2 very friendly hairdressers. Tried on a couple of toppers. Then showed one the color of my hair & 2-3" longer. They combed it out while on my head. Looked good but not used to long hair. They held a mirror to the back & said "It looks amazing!" They were so excited, I got excited & said ok. At checkout, the main woman was boxing it up in a bag, then sayin, "You'll need this & this" as she was throwing items in the bag. I really wasn't paying attention; assumed they were like little gifts that stores sometimes give you w/ur purchase. B4 buying it, I asked the cost; one said $342 (or close to that). I said too much & the o e in charge said it's (approx) $250-something. ok. My credit card & I were at one end & she was ringing up at the other where you can't see the total. Then she put the receipt not with me but into the bag that went to the bottom. I left. I got home. The $250-something was really $342 plus tax, & I was charged for all the "goodies" she didn't ask if I wanted. Couldn't believe it.To add insult to injury, thought I'd try the topper on again 2c if I still liked it. Front, sides - good. I turned around to look at the back & what they hid from me at the shop was that from the crown of my head all the way down, it was missing a good 50-75% of hair in an upside down V section. Yep. They never showed that to me. They were both behind me saying how great it looked; as good as the front. My real hair was 2-3" shorter & you could see in this large gaping area JUST my hair & only strands of the topper. I called immediately. it was the day b4 Thanksgiving. They said I agreed to all of the "extras" they threw in & that they don't take back used wigs. I'd had it for a hot minute. I should've known when I was waiting for my appt for the topper, I watched an elderly woman at the register paying for her complete wig which wasn't great to be honest. They had no issue with telling her it was $2,500! I assumed she must've bought other items. She stumbled a bit & asked if she could make pmts. That should have given me pause, but I didn't know all she bought. Anyway, I called them & didnt blame them for the topper being this way. But they weren't having it. Theyre all high strung. Ever since, I've had calls & text messages that are to say the least, mean, rude & unprofessional. Had they been receptive, I likely would've bought another topper & not taken their word for it re the back side of my hair. But they chose to call me a liar, a rude person, etc. So yes, I would've given them the benefit of the doubt, tho I'm well-aware the two women that day obviously saw the large gaping upside down V with only little strands falling down from the crown. Now, they get my reviews everywhere I can review them. They deserve that & much more. I've made a claim. I may do more for the abuse and incredibly mean & rude texts I received. Panic mode?? I hope so. These are not people you'd want to do business with. I would've given them no stars and the raspberries to their face. Oh well. You can't fix stupid. read more

Best experience ever. Jennifer is patient, knowledgeable and kind. Im just finishing chemo and feeling sad about my hair loss. Jennifer totally got it. With a compassionate heart and an eye for style, she made my experience so fun. I honestly was in tears when I walked in. The care, love and compassion I received was amazing! With each person that helped me I felt heard and loved. First there was Stephanie who greeted me and helped me. I felt very comfortable with her. She was very kind to me since this was a new experience. When it was time to start trying on toppers she introduced me to Jennifer who was amazing. She spent so much time with me, answered all my questions and made sure I was completely satisfied. She is very knowledgeable about the toppers. She showed me how to put it on and gave me the confidence I needed. Next was Michelle who styled and cut the topper. She spent time with me to make sure I was completely satisfied.
