Pacific Roofing replaced the roof and gutters on our house back in 2022, right before we purchased…read moreit. When we walked into the house after buying it, we realized the entire house was filled with gas. The roofing company had pierced a gas line in the attic when they replaced the roof. The fire chief said we were extremely lucky the house did not blow up when we opened the door and turned on the lights. After some back and forth with Pacific Roofing, they agreed to pay for all repairs associated with fixing the gas line. Fast forward a few years, I realized that our gutters were not draining properly. After inspecting, I realized this was because Pacific Roofing did not replace all of the downspouts. They failed to replace one near our garage door and now whenever it rains hard, the water overflows in that area. I asked them to come out and see what they could do. They told me it was out of warranty and that I would need to pay for the repairs myself. This made sense to me, I had failed to notify them earlier. I talked to one of the roof specialists yesterday and he told me it would cost $125 to put in a new downspout, but that he would split the cost with me. I told him that worked for me. This morning I received this text from him: Mr. Joe, Some unforeseen circumstances have happened and I will be unable to facilitate your repair. I wish you luck in the future. Needless to say, I am quite frustrated with the service we received from this company.
