We have free passes with our Legoland annual pass, so we checked out this place, the Orlando, Eye, and Madame Tussaud's. There was a lot of things to read, I made my older son practice reading by reading a lot of the plaques. There was also some fun interactive screens. And the highlight was a mermaid that was swimming around in the tank that came up to wave at everyone. It must be somewhat common place because we saw the mermaid a couple of times and only in one area where people rushing up to get pictures. The aquarium is broken out into sections, they had quite a few different species. My son also liked the touch tank. Overall, it took us about 45 minutes to get through so it's not a full day thing. If you read more, you could maybe make it last a couple hours, but for young children, I would say about an hour. Parking at icon park is easy. There's a free parking garage that has free parking on the upper levels and pay to park on the lower levels. When we came at about 5 PM on a Saturday there were tons of spots. I don't think this place gets that busy until nighttime.

If we felt confined walking through it, I couldn't help but think about the animals living there every day. There were surprisingly few exhibits, and the sea life itself was fairly limited. Nothing felt particularly unique, and the entire visit took us less than 30 minutes at a relaxed pace. To make matters worse, the building had an unpleasant odor. You expect a slight marine smell at an aquarium, but this smelled more like an old, damp mop than the ocean. For the admission price, we expected a much larger, cleaner, and more engaging experience. Instead, we left wondering where all that ticket money is actually going. Something about this place just didn't sit right with us. And honestly... something seems a little fishy here.

There is a Dolphin show, a sea lion show, and a killer whale show. We did all 3, and all 3 were a good time. It was a hot day so being in the "splash zone" would have been nice, but we chose the shady seats a little farther back in each case. Inbetween we did a couple of the rollercoasters and visited different animal exhibits. They really are some of the best coasters around. The new ride they have has Beluga whales at the end. That was special to see in person. The gals highlight may have been the mantees. They have there own above and below water exhibit to visit. If you go in knowing its not Disney, but an amazing zoo, it really is a great time.

Highly recommend getting the drink package and trying a few... or all of them if you can handle it. I loved how many different areas there were to explore. Seeing dolphins swimming so close to the beach was actually kind of magical. They also have a monkey island which I was really excited about. It was closed when we got there, but I could still see them from a distance and I loved that. The aviary was really cool too. Tons of birds, but also tons of people. They recommend going first thing when the birds are most active, which we did, but so did everyone else. We got there about 45 minutes after opening and the birds already seemed a little over it. Honestly, I don't blame them. The Grand Reef was such a cool experience. I didn't really know what to expect, and even though it's man made, it still feels really immersive. Some of those rays are huge and have zero fear. They will swim right into you. My guy had never experienced anything like that and he loved it. I also liked that there were shallow areas and deeper sections if you wanted more of a snorkeling feel. The only downside for us was the Wind Away River. There are spots that get deep really fast, and that day they were apparently out of floaties because people were hoarding them and claiming areas. Staff even acknowledged it, which was frustrating because nothing was being done about it. It made parts of the river harder to enjoy than they should have been. Other than that, everything else was great and it made for such a fun day. Also the bar swings were a highlight. Loved those.

We had our own private ambassadors show us around the park and were escorted to the sting ray feeding area . We got our wet suits and lockers . Bathroom is very clean and has plenty of towels . The sting ray feeding was so much fun . The ambassadors are very informative . Trainers will feed the larger manta rays since they are larger and take vitamins but we fed the smaller sting rays which was a lot of fun. Also we got to feed small fish which was a fun treat for us . Monkey island pool - warmest water in the park Tropical river - slightly chilly but overall fun Great reef- chillest but once submerged not bad . Colder due to sea-life . Great reef was amazing , it looks like nothing but once you put googles on it's another world. Highly recommend. All inclusive drinks package - worth the money it can get pricy . Food - buffet style , it was okay . Not great , not good but satisfied appetite . Lots of towels , food all inclusive and a great way to spend time in Orlando !

SeaWorld has helped ill, orphaned, and injured manatees, rescuing and rehabilitating 1,300 manatees to date since 1976. During my family's visit we saw a few manatees. It was great to learn more about the rescue center.

It's sad as these animals have wounds from boats or fishing nets, etc. and are held within the rescue area to help in the healing process. Entire store has a cool blue lighting throughout and they have the largest tanks I have ever seen in a store, with entire ecosystems holding thousands of gallon of water. Someone told me about them from their large YouTube following, so they are clearly helpful and basically famous.
