If you are ready to head to space, then this is the attraction for you. Mission Space is the space themed attraction located at EPCOT. It is not one of the most popular rides, it usually has a lower wait than its neighbor, Test Track. This attraction takes you all the way to space and then you get to play the role of commander, pilot, engineer or navigator. This attraction is near the front of the park. Once you enter EPCOT and head past the giant ball, Spaceship Earth, you will head to the left. Over towards World Discovery. You will find Guardian of the Galaxy, Test Track and Mission Space. You really cant miss it, its in the middle and has a giant moon and earth out front. Once you enter the attraction area, if you want the ride, you head to the left. IF you want to go to the Space 220 restaurant, you head to the right. Once you get to the main building, you have a choice. The Orange side or the Green side. They are very different. The Orange side is more intense, it has the G Forces that push you back into your seat and it makes you feel as though you are actually taking off in a spaceship. From someone who worked here years ago, this side also spins. It makes me very very sick! The Green side is much calmer, it is just like a normal simulator, but doesn't really shake or spin. It doesn't make me sick at all. The thing to note about this ride is you are enclosed in a very small space. It is a "space shuttle". Once you are seated, your restraints are pulled down over your head. Then the cast member will verify you are secure and then they close the capsule. It comes down almost to your direct face. It is very tight. Once the ride starts, there is no emergency button to stop it. If you are freaking out, unfortunately the ride has to finish. I would recommend not riding if you get claustrophobic. Overall it can be a fun ride. It is not my favorite but I will ride every now and then, the green side only. I will never go on the orange again. If you are a space fan, then this is your ride! It's worth checking out if you are not claustrophobic and enjoy simulator type rides. read more

Before entering this ride, I was forewarn about the possibility of getting motion sickness. And provided tips on how to prevent motion sickness. But even with that, I don't feel this was even close to being a good ride. So this simulator ride has two options. One is for a mellow ride and the other for Mars is more adventurous. I took the Earth ride with the hopes of not getting any sickness or dizziness. So you walk in and they split you up into various groups for each ship. When you enter the ship of five seats, it's kind of tight already. But when they close the door and activate the ride the front panels and close on you to make it very close quarters. So if you are claustrophobic this is definitely not the ride for you. I got a ship all to myself and started panicking while I was waiting for the ride to begin. It's like watching a video and I highly recommend when you're in this ride that you focus on the screen and nothing else as that will help prevent sickness. But before the ride could even begin. I started to freak out because of the close quarters. I only made it through because I focused on my breathing and kind of distracted myself until the rides started but I was in panic mode. Once the ride did start and I focused on the screen, it takes you to various places in the sky around the globe which eased the the the panic a lot because I just focused on the Stars and space. Towards the end of the ride it did get a little queasy but only for a couple of seconds and it didn't give me a very lasting sickness after a few minutes. So at the end of it it's a cool concept but I would definitely not do this right again either. read more

Space fans, this is your stop! Simulator ride lovers, this is your attraction. This is not for me but I can see some really loving this. I have been on this a couple of times, it is not one I have to go and to be honest I usually find myself waiting for the group, but every now and then its a good ride. Mission Space is the most well known Disney space themed attraction which is located at EPCOT. It is not one of the most popular rides, which is why I think people go for the most part, the wait is usually nonexistent. This attraction is a flight simulator that takes you to space and each person plays the role of either commander, pilot, engineer or navigator. You basically have different points where you need to hit buttons. An important note for this ride is you are enclosed in a very small space. Once seated, your restraints are pulled down over your head and then the cast member will verify you are secure and then they close the capsule. The "screen" will come down almost to your direct face, it's very very tight. Any claustrophobic issues will for sure be esclated on this ride. Another note, once the ride starts, there is no emergency button to stop the ride. The ride must finish if you are panicking or freaking out. The cast members can stop the ride in emergencies and according to my wife, it is really hard to hear once the doors are closed so it would be unlikely that anyone would hear screaming. Once you enter the attraction area, you have a choice of either the Orange side or the Green side which are very different. The Orange side is more intense, and gives you the G Forces that astronauts feel, you are pushed back into your seat, you can hardly lift your arm and you truly do feel as though you're actually taking off in a spaceship. The Green side is much calmer, basically a normal simulator, but doesn't really shake or spin. It doesn't make me sick at all. My wife worked here years ago and I remember so many stories of people getting sick on the orange side, take that as you will. Overall this can be fun, I used to ride it, but it is no longer on my top priority. I barely ride it and if I do, it is only green. I literally cannot do the orange side and I love roller coasters. I think its worth checking out if you enjoy these types of rides or have a space fan but just don't eat before you ride! read more

It's a nice ride, that is certainly outdated and could use some revamping for sure but it's nice. If you have a weak stomach...this isn't for you. We did the "easier" one (earth instead of mars) and oh boy. Theres throw up bags there for a reason. It's nice that they assign you roles and you get to immerse yourself in the simulation, I'm not sure I'd do it again though. read more

Mission Space has 2 different types of rocket ship simulation rides. We got on both of them. First one east earth bound, that takes off from Orlando, goes around the globe, then landing back in same spot. The simulation provided a real feel of rocket launch, shooting over the curvature of earth. They tried to make the ride interactive by assigning roles to riders like pilot and engineer. We only had to press fake buttons when it turned on. The Mars one is more popular with wait time going over 40 minutes. We used the fast pass for this one. This one was more extreme as the flight path was from earth to mars. I was actually feeling multiple G force as I couldn't pull my feet up from the floor. It also ends with crash landing in mars, so lot more bumps and maneuvers happened throughout the ride. It's an excruciating rideI felt dizzy and overwhelmed afterwards. But if you are adventurous, sure give it a try. read more

It's a great ride, where you actually feel like you are being launched in a rocket,l. Beware though, the warning of motion sickness and how intense the G-force will feel ARE NOT IN VAIN. The first time I did the orange mission, it triggered a migraine and ruined the whole day at the park. The green mission is much less intense but might still cause motion sickness. My suggestion is to do this towards the end of your stay at Epcot, that way if you get a lot of motion sickness or headache, you won't miss tout on he other attractions. read more

If I'm there in a group & they want to ride for some odd reason I will wait in the queue and walk out when they get on but I absolutely 100% will not ride it. Mission: Space was probably one of the more thrilling rides in Epcot without needing to line up for hours. The general theme of this ride is to simulate a space mission to Mars. There are two options: Green and Orange. Green is less intense than Orange, but my opinion is unless you're prone to motion sickness Orange is definitely the way to go. This is very important though; those prone to motion sickness should not pick Orange at all. Obviously I've never been up in space, but they seemed to simulate space activity quite well. I felt weightlessness at one point and lots of G forces. Despite the experience, the space mission roles didn't really amount to anything. It's a bit unfortunate, I really wanted the roles to provide additional meaning to this ride. I'd say this ride is good as a side detour if you don't wanna wait long for your next ride. I wouldn't be crazy putting this as your main event though. read more

Ambiance (4/5): This ride had two options: less intense and intense. It seems like the intense is more popular and the guide mentioned that it has more spins. We decided to select the intense ride expecting it to be more exciting. The wait for the intense one is longer. The green ride we watched seemed to proceed quite fast whereas a 15 minute wait for orange seemed to take around 30 minutes. We ended up having to wait quite a while because a previous rider got sick on the ride and they had to cleanup. This added another 20+ minutes. Overall though cool ambiance and it does feel like a space mission. Intensity (High): At first I didn't think this ride was particularly intense but while we were waiting, they delayed us because the last group had someone that got sick and puked resulting in them having to clean up the bay. What an intro to the ride. Surprisingly when I got on both me and my gf got nauseous and sick from the ride. It tilts you backwards and launches you. I'm normally good with coasters but we felt sick for the next couple of yours. if you're prone to motion sickness then perhaps it's better to do the green experience. Fun (2/5): It's a ride where you have multiple roles in a Space Mission. There are roles like Pilot, Engineer, Commander, and Navigator. I tried the Pilot role and you basically press a couple of buttons at announced times. All the roles are basically like this but you just press the buttons at different times. There is a joystick used to pull back and avoid asteroids and mountains on Mars but not sure if it just follows a script and if the joystick actually works. Overall, the theming is great and it does feel like a space mission but I really wanted to get off the ride after getting on. It made me so dizzy and nauseous that I couldn't enjoy it. Overall I wouldn't do this again and don't recommend it for anyone who may be remotely nauseous or motion sick. read more

The Orange Mission left a lasting impression on us for hours! Seriously. We were hurtled through space on a wild ride to Mars. The Orange mission exposed us to lots of turbulence, weightlessness, and longer-than-usual G-forces (up to 2.5G!) Don't underestimate all the warnings for the Orange Mission. (There are even barf bags conveniently available in front of each seat.) I usually don't feel anything after intense rides, but Mission Space made me dizzy and mildly nauseous with a gnawing headache for the rest of the evening. I think we were lucky to end the night with Mission: Space as the last ride and to not have eaten much food prior. If you're not a fan of turbulent rides, you can ride the Green Mission for a calmer journey around Earth! read more

Mission: Space can be one of the most intense rides at Epcot, if you choose mission orange! My daughter and I only ride the green mission. It's less intense. As you walk into Mission: Space, it's feature is a futuristic spaceport setting and astronaut-themed décor. The ride is a simulated spaceflight experience. Riders are assigned specific roles such as navigator, pilot, command, or engineer. Each role has designated responsibilities. Once the ride lifts off, the capsule will tilt back and then you'll be off on your adventure! My daughter and I enjoy the green mission. It's a lot smoother and provides inspiring views of Earth from orbit. The ride does provide you with bags if you feel ill. After the ride, there is a small indoor playground area and activities that you can do. I'd highly recommend reading the Disney world attraction website and descriptions before going on this ride. Nothing is wrong with this ride really. It just wasn't for me. I did orange mission thinking it wouldn't be bad, but next thing I know am I feeling extremely claustrophobic and disoriented. I wish there was some sort of emergency button so they could stop the ride because the moment the control panel came down I wanted out. An exhilarating experience. It was pretty cool how they were able to simulate the feeling of a spaceship accelerating and decelerating in space. They do it by spinning the pods around like a centrifuge, but the effect was pretty impressive. You might feel like you are still spinning after a few minutes of the ride though, if you're sensitive to motion. We took the mars one, and would highly recommend it! read more

You and 3 other guests take different roles (I.e. push buttons on the screen as directed) to help launch, pilot and land your spacecraft. This ride is very dated compared to its more recent descendants. The viewable screens are small and overall it's not as immersive when compared to Millennium Falcon Smugglers Run over at Hollywood Studios. Idk what I was expecting but I was expecting at least a ride lol this was not a ride in my opinion. This was torture. While it is not the worst ride that Disney has created, it is nowhere near the best either, unfortunately. This ride offers two different options, a green version that is updated and only moves like a motion simulator, and an orange, that spins so fast that the centrical force makes it actually feel like you are being sent on a mission to Mars. You make your choice at the front and a CM sends you to the correct line for the version you chose. I have done both and love orange but I usually do green because my SO refuses to do the orange....and for good reason, many people get nauseous from orange. The ride is very dated, and while the story of the ride is a lot of fun, much of the interior of the ride vehicle is dated and some of the things don't work like they are supposed to anymore. The ride is overall fun, but the graphics of the ride screen you watch throughout, needs to be updated to HD, it is very low quality and time for a new video to be uploaded on the green version. This may be my favorite ride at WDW, If you're going to do this once, then do the Orange because its wild, but if you are easy susceptible to nausea, maybe Green is more your speed. There's a warning as they're strapping you in to just look forward and to not lean forward or look to the sides, so I figured if you follow those rules, your golden. We launch and I'm thrilled and I'm yelling orders at Sis, who is in the Pilot seat, counting down to engage rocket separation, etc. I don't know what I'm saying, but I'm getting into it. Sis is totally silent. The ride was crazy and I'm thrilled, but as soon as the ride ended, Sis climbed over me and ran to the exit, trying to find a restroom. This wasn't good, since right after we had reservations for Space 220, which is a prix fixe meal so Sis had to sit there for over an hour, smelling food, trying her best not to turn green. I asked if she had leaned forward or looked to the side but she said no, she followed all the rules but she still couldn't handle it. I want to do it again, but I guess next time, I'll be going alone. read more

Being that this is my first day at Disneyworld, I did not need to start my vacation puking so I ended up doing the Green version. This version is less intense where you fly around Earth and land. When greeted with the option of mild Green or intense Orange, I declared, "I am intense ALL THE WAY." Flash forward to the end of the ride: I had died during the ride and my disembodied soul was floating around in a state of vertigo. If I had found a bathroom anywhere on my dazed 10 minutes of stumbling around the Training Lab and around outside, I would have gone right in and hurled. Fortunately, I unfortunately could not locate a restroom and instead took refuge in the giant golf ball that is Spaceship Earth. Flash back to the ride: I completely fell in love with the storyline. The pre-boarding does a fantastic job in getting you pumped up for your training flight to the moon. The ride itself has four seats per ship: a navigator, pilot, engineer, and something unimportant, each with relatively important duties for which you had to push a button when the right time came to pass. The screen showed your ascent into space from the astronauts' point of view and the G-force feeling was SO REAL. I swear I was going in the direction that my screen told me my ship was going. I loved it! I loved every single moment of it! Then the ride ended and I was dead. I am normally not good with anything that goes in circles, whether it be tea cups or pirouettes. Who in the world even knew this was a circle ride? 'Cause I sure didn't see any signs until right before we boarded, and even then I scoffed. Though I would not go on it again, I most definitely, very highly recommend this ride at least one time to any Mission Space explorer! read more

If you have to skip a ride - then I would suggest skipping Mission: Space. The ride is a centrifugal motion simulator. I am not the biggest fan of a motion simulator but feeling that G force is always a thrill. I easily get claustrophobic and usually have the irrational thought of amusement park rides breaking down while I am on them - however, with all being said I still decided to give Mission: Space a chance. Why? I guess because I paid over $100+ a ticket to enjoy Epcot for the day and wanted to experience it all. But my next trip to Epcot I will definitely skip this ride. I really liked the queue and the build up to the ride - this was impressive and told a good story. The story is to simulate astronauts training for the first manned mission to Mars. You must decide your mission - either the orange mission or green. Green is a smoother ride while the orange mission has plenty of warnings that this is a rough trip. We picked orange because again, why not?! We are in decent shape and you only live once - so I packed my claustrophobia aside and went on the orange mission. The ride is for 4 people and each person is assigned a role - Navigator, pilot, commander, and engineer. The father and daughter who were on our ride were not that fun, as my husband and I played along with our roles, and they weren't having it. Once the side doors close and the control center comes into your lap - there is no turning back. I suggest you do keep your head back and face forward - do not look at the other screens because if you do - you can easily begin to feel that motion sickness. Practice and pay attention to your breathing as well will help. Again - so many warnings are everywhere and puke bags are even provided. I did like the interactiveness with the ride and feeling like I was a part of the story. The G forces were all weighing down rather than giving any weightlessness - so not my cup of G force tea. I felt okay after the ride but my husband felt woozy afterwards. The story line did match up with the motion simulator, so I did appreciate that. read more

The ride definitely feels weird, it feels like you're literally blasting into space or something. We got so nauseous and felt sick the rest of the day because of this ride. If I could give this ride 0 stars I would. This was the absolute worst ride I've ever been on, the experience I had on Mission: Space was petrifying! This ride is extremely small and causes extreme claustrophobia, do not go on this ride if you have any anxiety or fear of small spaces. I'm usually fine in a confined space but this was different, this ride causes nausea and panic, the pressure on your chest from moving around makes it hard to breath and you end up leaving the ride shaking and with a headache, and not in the rewarding or exciting way, I had to literally touch grass after this ride, no wonder the wait is 10-15 minutes long, I would not ever recommend this ride to anyone. This ride should be given as a punishment to the worst prisoners, people who have done unforgivable harm and crimes, i think after this ride we could even let them back into society because it would truly change them with fear. First I want to mention that Mission: Space does have a history and a bad connotation around it. The ride has caused severe headaches, motion sickness, heart attacks, and even death. There are 2 versions of this ride, a green version that is for everyone, and an orange version that is the full experience. The orange is definitely not for everyone, but the green is. Let me dive into more about the rides differences. Experience: Let me just explain what you do on either of the color versions of the rides and then later I will tell the difference between them. At first you walk up to the gate and you choose your intensity, green to the left and orange to the right. Everything is the exact same for both ride queues. After that you walk down a path full of space equipment and computers. You then get lead to the first waiting room where you watch a video about the space ship you are going on. After that you are lead to another waiting room where you get assigned your job and watch another video. After that video it's time to board your space ship and blast off! You enter a small camber where you get belted in and the screen gets brought to you. It is very tight and not for anyone uneasy about small spaces. You do the ride and then you are sent on your way out through the gift shop. Green: If you handle any of the thrill rides at Disney well then green is a snooze fest. My wife and I love the thrill rides and don't feel anything from them. Backwards on Everest, dropping on Tower of Terror, and even doing the blackout version of Space Mountain. We left all those fine and this green intensity was just boring. You get launched into space, fly around the earth a little, and then land. Nothing else about it and nothing to write home about. The take off feels less intense than the g-force you can produce off of the tea cups ride! It's nice that there is a version for everyone but skip it if you can handle the orange level. Orange: This is where the ride shines and gets its intensity warning from. Orange is not for everyone and you will more than likely feel woozy after this ride. You get launched into space and it is the strongest force I have felt from any ride I have ever been on. My stomach fell into my back, my brain felt like it was being pulled into my neck, and it was so intense that i couldn't even blink. After you get launched you have a few seconds of peace before you get hurled around the moon and get hit with your second does of force. This one isn't as bad as the first but still kicks you pretty good. Once you get flung by the moon you sleep for a little and wake up in an asteroid field! You dodge incoming rocks from left to right as you crash land on the surface of Mars! Once you crashed it is all over and you can safely but away that barf bag if you didn't need to use it. Overall: This is a great ride that is different from anything else at Disney. It's not a slow dark ride and it's not a fast roller coaster. It's a version of both of them put together to offer a unique experience that truly showcases what Epcot was built for. The ride is not for everyone, but everyone should do the green version on some point. If it is nothing to you than definitely try the orange. One is strictly visual and the 2nd involves being in a centrifuge, which really simulated the pull / g-forces of a launch, as well as some weightlessness when exiting the atmosphere. Pretty cool! Mission space is located in world discovery at Epcot. It's a great ride in which you are an astronaut going to space in a crew of four. Each person will be given a job to successfully launch the spaceship. There are plenty of instructions given during the ride so I won't spend time on that. I do want to stress that THIS IS A RIDE THAT YOU WANT TO RESEARCH BEFORE YOU GET ON. There are essentially two missions, the green (easy) and the orange (hard). I rode the orange mission so I can't speak much to the green. The orange mission uses a centrifuge that spins and tilts to simulate 2.5 g forces. You will be strapped in and enclosed in a small place for the duration of the ride. It is by far the most intense ride at Epcot. As a tip to fellow orange mission riders, the best advice I was given is NOT TO CLOSE YOUR EYES AT ANY POINT in the mission even if you get disoriented, which is likely to happen for a little bit. The Disney engineers did an amazing job in reducing discomfort on this sort of ride, for example, the cold air blowing into your face really helps clear the nausea and disorientation. If you are sensitive to motion, do not like small spaces, do not get on the orange mission. Please seek other reviews on the green mission for advice to determine whether that is a good fit for you. Mission: Space has always been a polarizing attraction at Epcot, for what I believe are a number of reasons. At face value, it looks like your typical Disney thrill ride - and for the most part it's a popular attraction. However, I don't think that it reached the peak popularity that Disney had hoped for when they built it - here's what I think that: M:S is a simulator ride that takes you on a trip to Mars. The main component of the ride is riding in a "spaceship" and experiencing g-forces which gives the feeling of being launched into space. This is done via high-speed spinning, kind of like being in a large centrifuge. I've ridden Mission: Space a few times and the feeling is pretty intense - Disney did a good job with the engineering and capturing the accurate feel. Despite this, I feel M:S has never really reached its full potential. The biggest reason for this is that shortly after the ride opened, a number of people ended up passing away after riding. The g-forces proved to be too strong for some people, and they ended up losing their life (especially if they had underlying cardiac conditions). This prompted Disney to revise the ride, where now you can choose to be on the more intense "orange team" (which is the original ride) or the less intense "green team" (which does not include the centrifugal spinning). Even with this change, the ride has a negative stigma attached to it and many people choose not to ride it. Another reason why I feel M:S isn't as popular as Disney intended is the fact that it replaced the Horizons pavilion. Horizons was seen as an attraction that encompassed all the pavilions of Future World into one and is retrospectively seen as one of the greatest attractions in the history of the park. While there are a number of rumors and reasons as to why Horizons closed (I've heard everything from loss of corporate sponsorship to major structural damage to the pavilion), many Epcot purists resent its closing and the subsequent opening of M:S. Overall, I have mixed feelings on M:S - Disney did a good job with the overall aesthetics, but it's not really my cup of tea so I seldom ride it when I'm in Epcot. read more

Mission Space is an outstanding ride, especially if you enjoy the sensation of flying and encountering G-Forces. The buttons and controls on the ride make all participants fell like they are part of the ride/mission. I highly recommend this ride, also they have a less strenuous version of the ride If you are not in good health or have a heart condition. read more

I went on the green (I assumed that meant kiddie version) of this ride and thought no biggie. Will be an easy ride to take my kid on. I watched the videos with no real understanding of what I was in for. We sat down and brought the bar down. Still all good. Then the DAMN THING CLOSES UP TIGHT (the screens/control panels move toward you) and my claustrophobia kicked in MAJORLY. Naturally the ride had a mini glitch where there was nothing happening for a couple minutes and I immediately started having a mini panic attack but had to keep it to myself because the little kid next to me was having a meltdown himself and my daughter was already a bit freaked out. I tried pushing some buttons in the hopes they were panic buttons and considered screaming bloody murder, but knew I needed to be the grownup in this scenario . I had to do some serious deep breathing with my eyes closed and tried hard not to think about being trapped in there for some REAL Disney-style glitch. It wasn't too long of a ride thank God. I HATED it. They need a panic button on these rides, seriously. Or just can it altogether. My sons went on the orange version and one of them barfed as soon as he got out. Not the highlight of the day for sure. Took me a good couple hours to really decompress. read more

Quite possibly the worst ride I ever been on. You could easily throw up and there is no pleasure nor thrill from riding it.

Mission Space. On one hand I loved it and on the other hand I hated it and here's why: Okay, so first off Mission Space has two rides in one, there is a green mission and an orange mission. The green mission is much more milder and better suited for those who get motion sick easily. So because I wanted to be a risk-taker, I opted for the more intense orange mission. So the set up seems to be pretty long. They line you up into groups of four and you're given objectives/assignments. In the orange mission they give you multiple times to opt out. I kept thinking, "what am I getting myself into if they are telling me this many times I can quit. Finally we are seated, all bags must be stowed like if you're on the Spirit Airlines flight to Orlando. An overhead bar comes on top of you. Overall I thought this was fine. Then the ride closes in. What I mean is that the controls, which until then are at arms length away crunch into you for easy reach. Now, this is where my claustrophobia kicked in, that and knowing how often Disney rides break down, I did start to freak out. I'm tall so this didn't help either. Some yoga breathing helped and then the mission began. The ride itself was really cool. Feeling the G-force, you kind of feel like your body is pulled in various directions. One note is to not look side to side, only face first, that helps with motion sickness. The ride wasn't long, even with my internal freaking out due to the lack of space, but overall enjoyable. You walk through a long series of hallways when you are done to the inevitable gift shop featuring a shirt that reads, "I need my space" with the planets on it. I'm giving it three stars based on my own personal experience, but if I wasn't so tall and didn't hate small spaces like that so much I'd probably give it four. read more

I'm still going to give this ride 4 stars even though....it was...A LOT. I took the Orange option and I kept thinking to myself, "How intense could this actually be?" I mean I've been on other rides and none of them have been so intense that I've felt like vomiting so I went into this ride with a big ego. I don't know why I did that seeing as how this was my 1st time riding it but whatever. I also did this ride because it had the shortest wait time so I didn't have to use a Fastpass. The Green option had an even shorter wait. I thought that with a 20-minute wait, I could do this ride more than once. The line slowly snaked toward the main staging area. They give you the mission briefing and safety instructions in the event you need to barf or the claustrophobia starts to get to you. I am not claustrophobic, but this was the 1st time I actually felt....a little anxiety. You get into a space capsule that is wide enough just for each person to slide down the aisle into their seat and then once the door closes, you're separated even further with divisions between your seats. Your focus is on a somewhat small monitor and keypad in front of you which you view in 3-D. The blast-off was...BEYOND! I started to get feelings of euphoria like I got my 1st time riding Avatar: Flight of the Passage. The forces on my body made tears drip from the sides of my eyes and my organs pull back against my spine and rear of my torso. My mind didn't know how or what to process and switched between keeping me breathing and keeping my funnel cake in my stomach. Like Ron Burgundy, I was in a glass case of emotions except it was a space shuttle simulator instead of a phone booth. As you progress through the mission there is a lot of stimuli visually and sonically. I will say that one thing that helped with not barfing is that each member of the mission has to press some buttons near the monitor at certain moments so I kept focusing on my turn to go so we wouldn't fail the mission. Bringing my focus back to pressing a simple button kept me from panicking and/or throwing up. Steady breathing helps as well. Do not close your eyes though because your mind won't be able to catch up and process what the heck is going on. In the back of my mind though I keep saying, "How long is this ride?" I think it was really only like 5-8 minutes total. If it had been any longer than it was, I probably would have lost it. I'm being honest. I think if the monitor was bigger, it would give your eyes more room to scan and allow your mind to process the whole picture and setting. You're confined physically and mentally to the little screen in front of you. That is one thing that could help. I know every ride can't be like Flight of the Passage, which has a huge screen with and an open room, but I guess Missions Space is looking for a different feel. It will be a while before I try this ride again once I get my nerves back. read more

WARNING: Not for the faint of heart, well, at least not the green experience anyway. This ride is super cool, but is probably one of the more intense rides as far as stimulation rides go. This ride is not only in a confined space, but it will spin you around and around, making you feel like you're almost flying, just like you've taken off on a spaceship! They do have another option, where you can view the ride, but you went feel the intense stimulation...so if you're concerned, maybe try the orange version first, and if you feel like it's not that bad, then consider the green one. Nevertheless, the green version of this ride is awesome! I probably wouldn't go on the ride twice in a row though, cause it makes me feel a bit loopy after, but it is such a cool experience. It's unfortunate that they don't have this ride in California, but it does give me something to look forward to when I come to Epcot! read more

Orange is horrible 0 stars if i could it ruined Guardians of all the Galaxy for us and spent the rest of the evening sick.
