I went in on Wednesday to order pink flower with white ribbon corsage and boutonnière. The guy at the counter took my order. I showed him the picture I liked online and he even had me text him the pic. He said we will try to make it as close as we can. I came in on Friday to pick them up and was presented with all white yellowing roses which I didn't like AT ALL. They apologized and the lady kept blaming the guy who took my order and said that he didn't convey pink to the designer. I was devastated! They made me new ones but had no pink flowers at all so I ended up with these weird white pinkish barely flowers. They didn't charge me which is why I gave them two stars but no trust in these guys! read more

Not only can you pay in goats & oompa loompas but the service you will receive here is impeccable. From the time you walk in you are greeted with the most kind and genuinely nice people. I made the mistake of getting an arrangement for my first anniversary and they made everything so seemless. I was stressed the max and so worried that I wouldn't find anything in time. Not only did they arrange a bouquet of amazing flowers for me on the spot but they delivered them, as well. That's unheard of. Also, I was able to get a bouquet for under $100 but looked like a $200 arrangement. This is why I never go anywhere else and kind of glad I waited... Popped in McDonald Floral spontaneously today for the first time as I was driving by. I decided to pick up some roses for a few of the ladies in my office as a "just because you are wonderful". I walked in and said it smells like heaven in here! Then Carlo said he couldn't smell the flowers because he is use to the smell.. lol. Carlo was so amazing and welcoming. He even helped me pick out some beautifully colored roses from an array of beautiful roses that had just arrived this morn. I asked him to split up the dozen roses into 4 individually wrapped bouquets and he happily did. Ken walked in and jumped right in to help. They were both just amazing. They also have unique gifts and the most amazing candles I think I have ever smelled and I'm a Yankee candle gurl but Yankee has nothing on these candles! The roses are LEGIT! When I wanted to send an arrangement to a friend at Barrow Neurological Institute, I opted to choose a local florist rather than FTD, and I am so glad I did. The owner was so incredibly helpful that I will never use another florist. Let me explain. I called the hospital to get my friend's room number. I asked the representative if my friend could have flowers in her room, to which he replied, "Yes". At that point I called McDonald and placed the order. The florist called me later that day saying that the hospital refused delivery since my friend was in ICU, but they would keep checking back, as if she was moved to a recovery room, they could make the delivery. They were unable to make the delivery for a week and a half, but the florist kept me up to date every few days. When my friend was released, the florist called me saying they would re-make the arrangement, since it had to sit for so long. I asked if they would delivery to my friend's east valley residence, and they did for a very reasonable fee. I love these guys. read more

If I could give 0 starts I would. I'm very thankful that where able to find green roses for me on a last minute notice as they where for my deceased partner service on August 9th. I made it clear to them that they can leave them as is as they received. As in box and everything because I will be taking them to my flower shop on my side of town so they can have them like they get fresh. Green roses are not popular color rose. They offered money back or get new ones but I got last of what was a available locally probably. I did not accept money or anything because the damage is already done and will see what magic my shop o can do. Thanks for making my week more difficult after losing my partner. Thank for at least getting them. I will not being returning to this shop ever again regardless how much they try to kiss my ass. My husband decided to surprise me with flowers the day before Valentine's Day, so he stopped at McDonald on the way home from the office. The flower arrangement itself was beautiful, however within two days the flowers started to die. We contacted the shop and they told us we would need to bring the flowers back in order to replace them (there was no guarantee that they would be replaced) In the past we have ordered flowers from Cactus Flowers, a similar situation came about and without any questions asked Cactus Flowers delivered a new arrangement. Wanted to send flowers from out of town to a family member having pretty serious surgery. Ordered online easily. Then when they went to deliver, we found out the patient was in ICU and couldn't have flowers. These folks took the order back to the shop, let me know what happened and then called the hospital every day for a week to find out when he was moved out of ICU so they could deliver. I wanted to shop with a mom and pop business and noticed McDonald Floral had been around since 1917 according to the sign. The moment I walked in I saw numerous colored photos of the Dahlia Lama, next I saw several eastern culture statues and the person who owns the business didn't look like their last name was McDonald (not trying to be racist). Last but definitely not least their flower selection was not good. There were more eastern statues and knick knacks then there were flowers. This was a big let down. So I ended up going to 1800 F......which was ok, but would have preferred going to a florist that wasn't a part of a chain. read more
