C8. Vegetable Lo Mein - side for General Tso's Chicken
    Debbie B.

Ordered delivery and was impressed at the flavor and amount of food- we ordered General tsos chicken- to be honest 4 stars because the sauce was a little sweet to me but great portion size and love that they add broccoli in it. Spicy salmon rolls were delicious, broccoli in garlic sauce was a great portion as well and really good flavor. My favorite has to be the wonton soup good amount of wontons and such good flavor! This was my first time ordering and they added a small hot and sour soup on the house!!! Will definitely order from them again and if you like NY style Chinese food I highly recommend Wild Ginger!

My husband and I stopped in for a late dinner, less than an hour before closing, since our usual restaurant in the area had already closed. There were a few people picking up to-go orders, but no one dining inside, so we weren't sure if they would let us dine in. They did! The menus are nothing fancy, but there's a ton of options and something for everyone (sushi, rice bowls, bento boxes, appetizers, noodle bowls, etc.). We had a hard time choosing, but got the crab rangoons, a California roll, the Godzilla roll, a shrimp tempura roll, the Ichiban roll, and the tempura kani roll. We also got a large shrimp lo mein. The shrimp lo mein was FULL of shrimp and was a HUGE portion for only around $10. That is a steal in this economy. The crab rangoons were good, with a thick sweet and sour sauce to go with them. All of the sushi was so fresh, made to order, and came BEAUTIFULLY plated. We were blown away. The plates had decorations with little vases and dry ice, in addition to botanical items. All of the rolls were incredible. The basic rolls are so reasonably priced, and the Ichiban roll was worth the splurge. That was our favorite one! Service was 10/10 - someone was always checking in on us, refilling our drinks, and making sure we enjoyed the food. We let them know how good the food was and were so shocked when they brought us a dessert on the house. We live 30 minutes away but already are planning a trip back!! Thank you to the staff for allowing us to dine in so close to closing and for being so friendly and attentive!!

Sashimi Lunch and Any 3 Rolls Lunch Special (salmon avocado, eel avocado, salmon roll)
    Ashley Y.

This is still my go to sushi place in York! Their lunch specials are so affordable. I especially like that they don't put too much rice in the rolls and the rice is well cooked. I only Took off one star because I feel their non-sushi items could be better. My husband got the pad Thai lunch special and it was truly terrible and inauthentic. Whatever rolls that you like, I don't think you can go wrong. All depends on your personal taste. I especially love anything with raw fresh salmon so I'm a huge fan of the salmon avocado rolls, salmon rolls, spicy salmon crunchy rolls. I also think this sashimi lunch special is a fantastic deal. The miso soup was really watery the first time I got it, but every single time I've got it since then, it has been on point. They give a big container of it as well. Be on the lookout for the clipper magazines in your mailbox if you live in York. There's always a coupon for wild ginger! Also 30% off takeout on Wednesdays for non-deals/special items.

    Crab Rangoon my favorite

This Japanese restaurant doesn't disappoint!!! This is like my fifth time and everything we have ordered thus far is made fresh with great flavor! I love crab Rangoon and now this place is my favorite to order at!! Well done for the exception of the excruciating sweet sauce they serve. The service is always the same, top notch. Love the ambiance of the decor and cleanliness of restrooms and dinning areas. Just wish they'd play Japanese music or spa music.. please try this place I'm sure you'll love it!

Great food and service! The employees were all very nice and attentive. The sushi we had was incredible. It was very busy too, a steady flow of seated customers and picking up orders. Would highly recommend stopping by!

The food was great! 10/10 in presentation! The sushi rolls were amazing and the spicy Kani salad was the best I have eaten. The only thing I did not like was that when I walked in, the hostess did not greet me right away. It took awhile before she acknowledged me there. I will be back! Ichiban RollPink Lady Roll

It's everything you didn't know you needed, in the best way ever. *** Ginger offers benefits like reducing nausea, fighting inflammation and pain (especially menstrual cramps, arthritis), aiding digestion, boosting immunity, potentially improving heart health (cholesterol, blood sugar), and supporting brain function due to its potent antioxidants (gingerols, shogaols) and anti-inflammatory compounds, helping with colds, indigestion, and even skin health*** Moved on to the Shrimp Fresh Garden Rolls (warm shrimp, fresh Thai basil, fresh spring mix, and crispy lettuce wrapped in rice paper) served with a DELICIOUS HOMEMADE peanut sauce. Solid garden roll and paying $1 extra for hoisin and Thai chili sauce was worth it. A fresh explosion of flavor with every bite. ***Thai basil provides benefits such as rich antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties, supporting immune function with vitamins A, C, and K, and aiding digestion. It also contains essential minerals like magnesium, calcium, iron, and potassium, and may help support heart health, reduce stress, and ease pain*** Finished with Green Curry with Tofu!!! Brilliantly vibrant, herbaceous, creamy, and spicy dish balancing sweet, salty, and savory notes with a distinct, bright, complex flavor with a creamy coconut base and medium heat. Served with a traditional white rice cooked to perfection. Those of y'all who don't know...RICE IS AN ART IN IT'S OWN RIGHT! :) ***Thai green curry offers benefits like improved digestion, heart health, and brain function due to its rich antioxidants, anti-inflammatory herbs (lemongrass, galangal), and vitamins from vegetables, but watch out for high fat/sodium from coconut milk and paste. Key ingredients provide quercetin for heart protection, capsaicin for brain health, and digestive aids, making it a nutrient-dense meal when balanced with plenty of veggies, lean protein, and mindful of coconut cream*** The great thing about Thai cuisine is the many health benefits and it provides great lubrication on a chilly wintry day. The service was friendly and efficient! The interior was charming, cozy, and welcoming. Great find on the corner of King & S Court. Do yourself a favor and stop in for takeout or to dine in when you're in the area. Thanks, WORLD GRILLS!

Everything about this place exceeded our expectations. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, clean, and thoughtfully designed. It feels upscale without being stuffy, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting from the moment you walk in. We started with the crab rangoons and then ordered five sushi rolls: the Creamy & Crispy Roll, Crunchy Crab Roll, Black Dragon Roll, Hawaii Roll, and the Volcano Roll with spicy tuna. Every single roll was fantastic. Not "some were better than others" fantastic. Not "we found a favorite and tolerated the rest" fantastic. We genuinely loved every roll that came to the table. The Volcano Roll with spicy tuna was my personal favorite and an easy 10/10, but honestly there wasn't a single thing we ordered that we wouldn't get again. The presentation deserves its own mention. The rolls were beautifully plated, complete with gorgeous edible flowers and thoughtful garnishes that made everything look almost too pretty to eat. Service was excellent. The food came out surprisingly quickly, but not all at once. Instead, the rolls arrived in small groups, which actually made the experience even better because we could enjoy each one before the next arrived. For two people, five specialty rolls and crab rangoons came to about $80, which is completely reasonable and honestly pretty standard for quality sushi. We will absolutely be back, and we've already started recommending Hills to Sea to friends and family. If you're a sushi lover in Lancaster County, put this place on your list immediately.

While we waited for our food, many continuously piled in to order or pick up their food. I'd recommend calling in your order a head of time because they get pretty backed up, but the food is well worth the wait. I got the Tofu Brah bun and my mom got the chili noodles with pork and a side of rice and beans. All of the food was so flavorful and the portions were generous. The bun itself was so light and fluffy, and the tofu was crispy. They didn't skimp on the pork in the chili noodles - about half the dish was really tender pork. The rice and beans were nice and spicy too and my mom loved them! This is more of a grab and go kind of place, but there are two outdoor benches and some countertop seating inside

I liked the addition of panko breadcrumbs for crunch, but I wish the imitation crab meat had been shredded more finely for better texture. For my entree, I ordered the Spicy Basil Crispy Duck (added $1 for Thai spicy). They definitely delivered on the spicy level, but the duck itself was not crispy. It came with rice and bell peppers and basil. The sushi tasted fresh, which was good. Service could use some improvement. We had to ask for small bowls for soy sauce, and when we requested a dessert menu to celebrate the birthday, we were told the kitchen had already closed. It would have been nice if our server had given us a heads up before the kitchen closed. The ambiance is cozy. It almost feels like dining in someone's house. They had Halloween decorations up and murals of historic Frederick painted on the walls. They also have a private parking lot, which made it convenient. Overall, food was good, but a little more attentiveness from the staff would've made the experience even better.

They were yummy little pork filled dumplings with some kind of brown sauce on top. I also had the scallion pancake, which I absolutely love. It was with the entrees where we ran into trouble, I ordered the Shrimp Tempura dinner. I get this meal frequently in other places. It's pretty standard. I asked our server, because I wanted to know and she responded, "Shrimp." Usually, yes, when you get it as an appetizer, it's just shrimp. As an entree, it's usually a few shrimp and tempura veggies as well. She seemed confused. Lately, I've been getting the same shrimp tempura every where I go. They come frozen, pre-coated. It's a little disappointing. Especially when compared to the veggies, that were clearly just dipped in a batter and fried. Here, I got a couple chopped asparagus, a few pieces of onion, cut into big squares, some sweet potatoes, and three huge chunks of broccoli, which is my least favorite. It also didn't come with a dipping sauce. Shrug. The ervice was attentive and prompt.
