It feels upscale without being stuffy, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting from the moment you walk in. We started with the crab rangoons and then ordered five sushi rolls: the Creamy & Crispy Roll, Crunchy Crab Roll, Black Dragon Roll, Hawaii Roll, and the Volcano Roll with spicy tuna. Every single roll was fantastic. Not "some were better than others" fantastic. Not "we found a favorite and tolerated the rest" fantastic. We genuinely loved every roll that came to the table. The Volcano Roll with spicy tuna was my personal favorite and an easy 10/10, but honestly there wasn't a single thing we ordered that we wouldn't get again. The presentation deserves its own mention. The rolls were beautifully plated, complete with gorgeous edible flowers and thoughtful garnishes that made everything look almost too pretty to eat. Service was excellent. The food came out surprisingly quickly, but not all at once. Instead, the rolls arrived in small groups, which actually made the experience even better because we could enjoy each one before the next arrived. For two people, five specialty rolls and crab rangoons came to about $80, which is completely reasonable and honestly pretty standard for quality sushi. The salad is in a smaller bowl (less salad), the food i had is less tasty, seems like they are skimping on ingredients, quality and taste to keep the price as it was while food costs increased. I order only the stir fry and soup and sslad, not sushi. Food is overcooked for a simple stir fry, brown sauce tastes like it was burned (can one burn a sauce?) Veggies were very overcooked, whimpy not firm or semi firm. No wonder there was a noticeable drop in the number of people here for lunch after church on a Sunday. I can no longer highly recommend this establishment. It's gone from very good or great to YUCK in the 10 months I was deployed. I will NOT be back often but maybe on rare occasion to see if it improves.
