I don't know how I have not managed to review this place as many times as I have been over the years for Books and Brews and Louisville Ale Trail. Those are really the only times I come here other than if I'm venturing to Logan Street Market, which I don't venture to very often. They have a bar area you can sit at and if you're ordering food from one of the other places inside the market, you can eat it there as well. I have done that in the past but, not recently. They have a beer and cocktail menu. I have had their beers and had some good ones but, I had a really good cocktail that someone recommended, it was a strawberry flavored like one, I forget the name. This is the first time I have had any of their cocktails. This place is worth a stop if you're inside Logan Street Market. I know I stop here if I'm in.

While I've been to Logan Street Market since its opening this weekend was my first pit stop at Wild Hops. The bar spans the backside of the market and pre-Covid it offered stools so you could enjoy your drink and then another. Currently it's a take and go, but the lounge is right next door. While beer is the focus of Wild Hops namesake they keep a full bar that includes wine and mixed cocktails. (A bit of competition for the Breeze Bar.) My husband and I got the Blueberry Mule with Four Roses bourbon. Both flavors were distinct and yet blended midway during the sip. Refreshing - I'd order again, and haven't spotted this offering elsewhere. If you're in the mood for a cocktail this is the spot I'd recommend at Logan Street Market.

Love stopping in for a beer or a cocktail before perusing around Logan Street Market. It's also nice to enjoy the food we ordered at the bartop. The staff are always really friendly, but usually pretty busy - so order what you need when you've got their attention! Last time we got a beer here, and another time before, the beer was super flat. Not carbonated, syrupy - basically undrinkable. I couldn't finish my beer. It's kind of crazy that they'd serve something that bad, but maybe no one did a quality control check on it. Next time, I'll keep an eye out for which beers are coming out of the tap with foam and get one of those. This doesn't happen often, so I'm sure they're on it already.

Great spot for a drink at The Logan Street Market. Really enjoyed the 'A Long Time Common' amber Craft beer. It only cost $4 too.

Wild Hops Brewery is a great little bar located in Logan Street Market. I have been here a few times when coming to browse the market. Always friendly services. They do have seasonal menus and fun-named drinks!

Great beer & great service! The margarita was one of the best I have ever had. My husband and I love beer & we really enjoyed the DADDIO NE IPA. We also tried the spruce tip and it was delicious!

From the top make it hop. That's some wet. That's some wet.

There's just something about Against the Grain that takes me back to my first years in Louisville…read more It embodies that weird, wonderful Louisville spirit. It's creative with a sense of joy, irreverent, one of a kind. And I'm happy to see it last in its spot next to Slugger Field. I got to visit recently when a bunch of friends were in town. We ended up visiting during trivia night, which added a fun twist to the experience. Our team, The Electric Sheep, got second place! And along with the fun vibes, we had great food and beer. I got The Smokehouse OG, which is its pulled pork sandwich served on a Cuban roll. If you like pulled pork, you'll like this sandwich, though typical to their fashion, AtG puts a twist on it with its Brown Note BBQ Sauce. We had to get the pork belly on a stick -- a menu fave. And for my beer, I tried the El Nopal Mexican lager (cracked up at the name) and Cold Ass Beer red ale. AtG is a Louisville original that's not to be overlooked.

I got the burger in special, the Dirty Burger. Pretty standard burger dressed with their "not so secret" sauce and fancy pickle. Super solid, very well executed. In the words of Samuel L. Jackson, this is a tasty burger! The location is pretty tough to beat with how convenient it is, and how close it is to all downtown has to offer. The atmosphere is industrial but relaxed. The staff was so wonderful and personable. Will definitely be back!

They have board/card games to play and a full calendar of events which include, run club, wizard Wednesday, show and tell, trivia etc. I appreciate a brewery with an event calendar! I ordered "The Tart" a raspberry cider, it wasn't too sweet like many other ciders I've had. As a sour beer lover, I would love for a sour/gose to be added to the menu! Also to note, they had a variety of non alcoholic options (always a plus) and snack foods. I love the aesthetic of this brewery, and can't wait to visit again!

The vibe is laid back with a neighborhood feel, and is super welcoming. The bartender was knowledgeable, informative, and very helpful when I advised that I could not consume sugar or alcohol. She mixed the best mocktail I have ever tasted! There was a large selection of beers that included their own and those from other breweries, and a large selection of ciders on tap. I was happy to see that it is a dog-friendly establishment and will add it to my list of places to take my pup! Street parking is available around the neighborhood. This is my kind of place and I know that I will be returning.
