I don't know how I have not managed to review this place as many times as I have been over the years for Books and Brews and Louisville Ale Trail. Those are really the only times I come here other than if I'm venturing to Logan Street Market, which I don't venture to very often. They have a bar area you can sit at and if you're ordering food from one of the other places inside the market, you can eat it there as well. I have done that in the past but, not recently. They have a beer and cocktail menu. I have had their beers and had some good ones but, I had a really good cocktail that someone recommended, it was a strawberry flavored like one, I forget the name. This is the first time I have had any of their cocktails. This place is worth a stop if you're inside Logan Street Market. I know I stop here if I'm in.

While I've been to Logan Street Market since its opening this weekend was my first pit stop at Wild Hops. The bar spans the backside of the market and pre-Covid it offered stools so you could enjoy your drink and then another. Currently it's a take and go, but the lounge is right next door. While beer is the focus of Wild Hops namesake they keep a full bar that includes wine and mixed cocktails. (A bit of competition for the Breeze Bar.) My husband and I got the Blueberry Mule with Four Roses bourbon. Both flavors were distinct and yet blended midway during the sip. Refreshing - I'd order again, and haven't spotted this offering elsewhere. If you're in the mood for a cocktail this is the spot I'd recommend at Logan Street Market.

Love stopping in for a beer or a cocktail before perusing around Logan Street Market. It's also nice to enjoy the food we ordered at the bartop. The staff are always really friendly, but usually pretty busy - so order what you need when you've got their attention! Last time we got a beer here, and another time before, the beer was super flat. Not carbonated, syrupy - basically undrinkable. I couldn't finish my beer. It's kind of crazy that they'd serve something that bad, but maybe no one did a quality control check on it. Next time, I'll keep an eye out for which beers are coming out of the tap with foam and get one of those. This doesn't happen often, so I'm sure they're on it already.

Great spot for a drink at The Logan Street Market. Really enjoyed the 'A Long Time Common' amber Craft beer. It only cost $4 too.

Wild Hops Brewery is a great little bar located in Logan Street Market. I have been here a few times when coming to browse the market. Always friendly services. They do have seasonal menus and fun-named drinks!

Great beer & great service! The margarita was one of the best I have ever had. My husband and I love beer & we really enjoyed the DADDIO NE IPA. We also tried the spruce tip and it was delicious!

From the top make it hop. That's some wet. That's some wet.

This brewery goes back to the early roots of Louisville . The barrel aged beers and ales make a unique and distinctive addition to the bourbon and other spirits they produce. During the 1960s a plight to save this area began. Many shot gun shacks surround the area. They are shacks with their own quaint detail and design. They have carried this over in the decor and style of ales. This brewery is too cool they have no holds bard for anything that steps on an inch of human rights. In fact it's the main purpose for this thread of Louisville and butchers town. The action of activism is truly alive here in Louisville and all over the city, not just this brewery. It's beyond belief here. Love and the community come together for what we have seen. The art that is in the lobby here truly shines through. Now come and join in the passion that connects us all. I got the Mango-Colada Sour, and this was delightful. It seems like Butchertown Brewing really excels at sours, fruit beers and fun concoctions. So if you're not afraid to "fruit the beer," this is a good place to check out. They also have seltzers, hard sodas and more typical beer offerings. And while it is small, you can still easily find food. It's right across the Mellwood Art Center courtyard from Danny Mac's Pizza (my all-time favorite Louisville pizza spot!). And you can order via Danny Mac's website and choose to get it delivered to Butchertown Brewing. You don't even have to leave your chair to get delicious pizza! Butchertown Brewing also hosts fun events, like the aforementioned trivia. Actually it was trivia bingo -- so the more fun, easier-to-play version of triva, which I actually won a prize in! I won a gift card to come back to Butchertown Brewing, and I will definitely be partaking again soon!

Baseball and a hotdog go hand and hand! We got to the restaurant and searched from the top to the bottom, from the front to the back for the Chili dog and it was nowhere to be found on the menu. The waitress informed us they changed the menu a few months ago. Update the website please!! He was so disappointed that he only ordered fries to eat. I ordered the brunch burger. I love eggs but hate a runny yolk. I informed our server and watched her customized my burger (fry the egg hard please). As soon as the burger arrived, I knew I wasn't going to eat it. There was runny yolk on the side (gag reflex). I informed our waitress who was very apologetic about it. She asked the kitchen and they said they would remake it, but I opted for another burger (le sigh). Because they were so busy and hadn't started making my order, we just decided to pay for our drinks eat somewhere else after the game. The server was great, but our experience wasn't.
