We got 2 flights, so 10beers total. We only liked 2 and they were the ciders, which were super good. The atmosphere is pretty chill and the guy at the bar was nice. It has good vibes and mediocre beer.

This brewery is in a wonderful location, you can walk/shop around Nulu and then stop in for a beer. The outdoor courtyard has lots of seating but, if the weather isn't cooperating, there's plenty of seating inside. Staff are always friendly, and let you sample the beers before committing to a pint. On Saturday, I tried the Catharina (mango and guava sour) and the tomato tomato sour. The Catharina was delicious, you could really taste the mango and guava. The tomato tomato was one of the more unique beers I've tasted. The tomato flavor wasn't over powering. A lovely stop for two refreshing beers and live music on stage!

This spot has been a great addition to Louisville and Nulu Marketplace. With seats indoors and on the patio, you can sip and relax despite the weather - and The Gallery offers fantastic bites. Loved the beef sliders and tots. Always several beers on tap, plus a few things in the fridge to carry home. While relaxing there waiting for friends, the servers were friendly and quick to take orders. This is a great spot for a meet up and on my brewery recommendation list. Also, they rent a room for private parties.

Great beer but it's a bit pricy, and parking in NuLu is horrendous- and it's going to get worse with the redesign of Market, but it is a good location for lots of events Still, they have some great events- we LOVED the strong beer event a couple weeks ago. Service is always good.

Great selection of beers and ciders. They even a couple frozen cocktails which is great on a hot day. They have some food available too - grabbed some sliders which were of average bar food. The bar staff is friendly and the place has a very relaxed vibe. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Stopped by to grab a drink in NULU and had to try the tomato sour. Great level of acidity balanced with a solid kick of umami. What a great find and an interesting beer.

Great beer in a unique, urban setting. A beer type for everyone. Always hopping! Worth checking out. Favorite beer: Pay It Forward Cocoa Porter!

First time to this location NuLu Marketplace square. Almost a block of building with great shops and restaurants located inside the square. Great idea! This place was busy and hidden away from the streets surrounding the building created a great atmosphere. We first walked about; it a bit confusing at first since the courtyard was extremely busy; great place to kick back and enjoy the camaraderie of patrons. We found ourselves in West Sixth NuLu; quite the busy place with about 8 bartenders all very busy. Liked the beer list; but we were looking for pizza; their menu looked interesting but just no pizza. So we found Emmy Squared. Sat down there and went back to West Sixth for drinks. The stouts were tasty and the cider crisp. Definitely a place to check out!

The beer selection was incredible and we were treated warmly by the staff, especially George! He is so knowledgeable about the area and gave us a lot of great recommendations to try out and was SPOT ON!

Maybe 1 of my favorite brew spots in the area, tucked among multiple eateries, and offering a variety of beers at very low price, I highly recommend checking it out and trying the different beers and even taking some cans to Go. A great spots tucked with a variety of eateries to have while enjoying a bunch different beers from pizza, to Mexican, and everything in between at very moderately prices. The service was great and staff at tentative and I was really surprised How low the bill was for What we drank and even the few cans we purchased to have later back at the house.

Came here for an after work social. The ambiance is hipster/industrial. Located in NuLu, a very happening neighborhood with tons of shops and restaurants. I wanted to like the beer, but tried several and just could not. The best tasting to me was Snake Buns, which is a dark port with Christmas-y flavors. Heavy with high alcohol. Could only drink half. All others had a weird aftertaste. Maybe the water? I didn't try the food but was told by coworkers that it isn't good.

West 6th NuLu is my go to Louisville Brewery. I love the atmosphere and friendly staff. The beer is consistently above par in terms of freshness and availability. There is always something new to try, but flavors that seem familiar and comforting, exactly what I look for in my neighborhood brewery. The addition of a kitchen helps make this a destination for craft beer enthusiasts.

Maybe my new favorite brewery! I like the beer so much I even buy cans at the grocery nearby. My husband and I went to enjoy the patio and the candy bar pairings for Halloween. Every pour was delicious, and pairing them with candy made them even better. Friendly staff, great space, and great beer. What more could you want?

Ask the Community - West Sixth NuLu

Are dogs allowed on the patio?

Yes. I've also seen dogs in the store. So, bring a friendly pet, and enjoy a few beers!

    Do they have ciders?

Not that I've ever seen, but they do have some sweet tasting Northeast/Hazy IPAs, and sometimes they have sours.

    Do they have cocktails?

I don't think so, just really good beer.

It's creative with a sense of joy, irreverent, one of a kind. And I'm happy to see it last in its spot next to Slugger Field. I got to visit recently when a bunch of friends were in town. We ended up visiting during trivia night, which added a fun twist to the experience. Our team, The Electric Sheep, got second place! And along with the fun vibes, we had great food and beer. I got The Smokehouse OG, which is its pulled pork sandwich served on a Cuban roll. If you like pulled pork, you'll like this sandwich, though typical to their fashion, AtG puts a twist on it with its Brown Note BBQ Sauce. We had to get the pork belly on a stick -- a menu fave. And for my beer, I tried the El Nopal Mexican lager (cracked up at the name) and Cold Ass Beer red ale. AtG is a Louisville original that's not to be overlooked.
