John contacted someone he knew in the area who not only loaned us an arch, but brought it to the venue, and his driver went to work adapting the arrangement to the new structure. My bouquet was absolutely stunning, by all accounts. I'm not one of those people who dreamt of their wedding day growing up. But one thing I did know growing up is that I love orchids. I have family in Hawaii and would visit them regularly each year, and every year I just fell more and more in love with the orchids around us. Dendrobium, Phalaenopsis, Cymbidium, didn't matter, I love it all. And when I first met Jenna I told her that. Her orchid bouquet for me was the most perfect one possible for me: simple, delicate and classic, yet luxurious and lush all at the same time. The flower wands and bouquets for the bridesmaids were also flawless interpretations of my vision. Our site didn't allow flower petals to be thrown. Given the ages of our four flower girls (3-5), we decided wands would be the best thing for them to hold. They were darling. The bridesmaids bouquets were truly gorgeous, and with barely any discussion or input necessary from me going into that final decision. I just trusted her to create something magical that I would love, and she did, all on her own. Last but not least, I wanted the flowers after the big day to go somewhere to be appreciated by people and mentioned it to my planner, who reassured me that Jenna always takes care of that. What seamless work. I think being able to trust your team and their taste and ability to execute is how you get their best work. If they're excited about what they do, it shows.
