I've been here a handful of times and thoroughly enjoy my experience every time. On today's menu, I tried the Tortoise (Green Tea Chai) with coconut milk and for my later drink, the Depot Bay (Seasonal Magic in a cup). Such a wonderful little hidden gem in Northwest Peoria! It has a little bit of a Goth vibe, which I love! They have craft coffees, both iced and hot, energy drinks, some food items, the pastries are outstanding, and also a variety of tees. we had the Goddess energy and Stranger Things iced coffee, both were delicious, but I recommend getting 2 to 3 shots of espresso versus four in the large serving. As an avid Cold Brew drinker and lover of all things local I made my way to Peoria's newest and locally owned coffee shop Wild Pine coffee Co. located off Lake Pleasant just off 99th ave. One of the things besides the drinks of course that I look for in a shop is the vibe of course. How a place makes you feel when you walk in makes it or breaks it for me. Don't let the outside of the shop fool you. Located in a small strip mall next to a Walgreens and a few other local food spots nothing stands out. There are a few outdoor tables to sip and enjoy while the weather's still nice, but the inside is where it's at. With the dark green walls and great pops of color coming from the catchy neon sign, yellow accent chairs or that cozy couch; you'll find a perfect spot to sit and chill. If high table top or bar is better for you'll find that too. There are plenty of outlets to bring a laptop and get some work done. The menu is pretty vast ranging from cold brew and lattes to lotus energy drinks and teas. If you're hungry they've got you there too with some breakfast and lunch options. I'd already eaten breakfast or I'd of probably ordered a breakfast Sammy. There were a few people ahead of me so it gave me some time to look over the menu. I was greeted right away with a smile from the owner and told she'd be with me in a moment. She was whipping those drinks up quick and it was no time before it was my turn . As I said at the beginning of my review I love cold brew. If you frequent my reviews you know this already. I knew right away I'd go for my usual a sf vanilla cold brew with a splash of hwc. When I try a new spot I like to also go for a latte or something as well since I'm not a huge fan of energy drinks and wasn't feeling tea today. I ordered a campfire iced latte as well. While I waited my son and I looked at some of the decor and merch for sale. The owner was very kind and our drinks were out in no time. My son doesn't not typically enjoy coffee of any kind and if he did at all I thought for sure he'd choose the campfire latte over my cold brew because cb is a stronger flavor and the campfire would definitely have more sugar and smoother with the milk. To my surprise he enjoyed the cold brew so much more that I had to purchase a second one for myself ha ha ha. Now to the important part you've all been waiting for the coffee itself. The cold brews were good. I will say it had more of a sweet type taste I couldn't really put my finger on. While it wasn't acidic like some cold brews, it wasn't a strong coffee taste to me either. I wish I'd of asked where they get their coffee from so I could tell you. Next time I stop by I'll find out. The campfire latte I wasn't as much a fan of. It was ok, but I think the flavor just wasn't for me. With all the chocolate, caramel and brown sugar cinnamon I assumed it would be sweeter. I'll definitely be back to try some other drinks like the tea, a few other lattes and of course the food so I can make a more informed review. The service, vibe and the cold brew passed the test this go round. If you live nearby or are visiting check this place out and support local. read more

Great spot! Helpful staff and yummy coffee. I've been burned by local coffee shops more times than not, but this place has great coffee. You're able to customize to your liking as some of the specialty drinks have one too many sweet syrups but the barista made a couple suggestions on what to remove/add and it came out so good. The breakfast sandwich was a little bland (English muffin, egg, cheese and sausage) but it wasn't awful. The cups are also cute and sturdy, doesn't pop open or crumple when you grip it. read more

Wow! My new go to spot. This place has a drink for everyone. There are teas, energy drinks and of course COFFEE! Upon entering I noticed how amazing the energy was, it is so cute, clean and quiet. The coffees are a perfect hint of sweetness with the smooth espresso taste. I tried the carpe diem- cherry& pistachio, my brother went with the espresso lab -simple syrup and choice of milk, and my sister in law went with the ube latte-purple yam with hints of vanilla. Was helped by a very sweet woman, service was quick. Next time, will be back for a hope dealer- white chocolate/ lavender. read more

The owner Trenda and her husband are friendly, fun and incredibly creative! 1 month they had a Lord of the Rings themed coffee flavors then decked out the shop for Xmas with a Harry Potter tree and butter beer lattes. This place just opened up at the end of last month and it is really cute! It's right by the rec pizza which is also amazing. This place is way larger than I expected, though lots of kinda empty space it seemed like that they could be putting to use! I love the aesthetic, the couch and pictures were really cute. They have a ton of energy drink options if you're into that, that seems to be bigger in the west valley it seems! The staff was very helpful and let me know that their drinks are very coffee forward and to let them know if I need it sweeter. I got an iced oat milk mocha and my husband got a caramel latte. Usually he gets extra espresso but the large already has 4 shots. My mocha was not super sweet or chocolatey, but it was very tasty! My husband said his latte was awesome too. They had some sourdough twists at the front which looked amazing, I'll have to try next time. Great addition to the area and glad that I got to try it. If you live anywhere near this area of the city, I highly recommend stopping in here. Nice place to sit & relax with coffee, tea or an energy drink & maybe some food. My friend enjoyed her coffee drink while I enjoyed their Dirty Chai. They have sourdough cookies which are great! Their menu for food is small but surprisingly good! My friend got the bagel & cream cheese & really enjoyed it. They do also offer a GF bagel. I had a "Sammy" -- egg & cheese on a sourdough English muffin. I loved it! The young ladies working were super nice & really knew their stuff -- I was very impressed. The decor is fun. They have a small amount of seating outside. I will be returning! read more

But overall customer service was good they were not enthusiastic to be their by any means but they were cordial. Place was super cute felt a little empty though. But unfortunately our coffee had a sour taste to it so we switched it for a matcha and the matcha was pretty good! My sister went and I asked her about it to make sure I wasn't crazy and she said the same thing about hers when she went :( don't know if it's the beans maybe being used causing that?
