Didn't realize that Butter Buzz is a very popular chain in Arizona, California, and Nevada. I am so glad I got to try it out. We got a lot of yummy drinks & food. Our orders came out relatively quickly. My favorite drink was the Hazelnut Divinity (white chocolate mocha with a touch of hazelnut). The vanilla bean latte was good coffee but not at all sweet. The açai bowl was good but very runny. The toppings were very fresh. The ciabatta was pretty hard in the sandwich but flavors were good. There was a lot of seating indoors and outdoors. read more

Tried Better Buzz for the first time and had a great experience! I use to love starbucks, but since the change in the chai I needed to find another option. The staff was super friendly and helpful when I was ordering since I wasn't familiar with the menu. I got an iced chai tea latte and avocado toast, and both were really good. I love this place. But 1- it's expensive. And 2- fire the girl with all the face piercings. Not only is she super rude, but also unsanitary. Eating at the counter then not washing her hands and making drinks. Leaving all the milks all over the counters. I simply asked why the drive thru was closed (curiosity and I had little ones in the car so I wasn't really wanting to get out). I was treated SO poorly in this coffee shop today. I am shocked. We ordered 3 drinks in the drive-through and they were beyond too sweet. So I walked in the store and asked politely to have them remade half sweet. They were undrinkable! These two employees started talking sh*t a little TOO loudly about me. Girl- it's not a big deal. First time in and loved the cinnamon cream cold brew and enjoyed the ham/cheese croissant. The croissant was pretty greasy, I had it sitting on napkins. That was nothing special. Love the sayings throughout the store and very friendly staff, they welcome you in with cheers and a greeting. Place is clean and plenty of seating, music is a bit loud-can't hear your order, love the honeycomb every where. Especially like the free sticker and all swag on the shelves. i just left crying my eyes out because this lady was so extremely rude to me. she was a red head and a bit older than the other girls. So i placed my online order when i was at my house and i got a text message at 10:42 that my order was ready. I didnt come in until 10:45 and came up to the lady and said "i have a pick up order for isabella". they were busy and hadnt started on my drink yet which is totally understandable ive worked years in customer service so i get it really. but instead of saying "we will work on that!" she begins to scold me on how all doordash and online orders come in at the same time and that i have to wait my turn like everyone else. i was shocked by her tone so i just said okay and stepped back. as im waiting she steps forward and starts scolding me a second time on how i need to wait and that they are busy doing 15 drink orders. i didnt come up to the counter and demand my drink be done at that second. i simply was telling her my name so she knew i was there. her attitude with me was so extremely rude and I left crying and i dont think i can come back after this. I understand that it was busy but there was no need for her to snap at me. Ordered 2 "best drink ever" coffees, both modified as 3/4 sweet (which is what I order every time.) This time, both drinks were extremely sweet to the point of being undrinkable. This wasn't a big deal & luckily we were still super close by so figured I'd just run in to ask for a remake. When I went in with our drinks, the girl (brunette wavy hair, glasses) immediately looked at the drinks & had a -_- look on her face. She's didn't say hi, nothing. I said "I'm so sorry to be annoying but these are really sweet, can we get new ones made?", she takes the order stickers off of the drink carrier & just said "so they're both supposed to be 3/4 sweet?" & I said yes. She asked if I want them thrown away, I said yes, so she ROLLS HER EYES & walks away with the drinks, not saying another word. It was so awkward I just stood there for a second then backed away from the register. A few minutes passes & I hear "HERE are those remakes. I made them half sweet" & she ROLLED HER EYES AGAIN lol. I said thank you, she walked away without saying anything again. I know there are bigger problems in the world but this whole interaction was so weird & unnecessarily awkward. I was searching for an early coffee spot and saw this place was open at 4:30 every morning. I drove up and noticed it was a drive thru as well. I decided to go in and really look at the menu. They had coffee, energy drinks (which they produce themselves, ollipops, açaí bowls, local baked goods, avocado toast, and so much more. The girl at the counter was so nice and walked me through the menu. I ordered a Miso Sweet & Salty latte, and the blue buzzin energy drink with pop rocks. This place has it all! We tried Better Buzz for the first time today! I've been noticing quite the drive through line recently. I ordered the lavender tea latte and my mother had the "Killer Bee," which is basically brewed coffee with extra shots of espresso. We enjoyed our drinks inside of the cafe. We were both really pleased with our respective drinks. We also split a Snickerdoodle cookie which was super good! The interior of the cafe is super cute and I could totally see myself hunkering down here to do some work. read more

Had an awesome experience at Better Buzz in Surprise! I ordered the Matcha Green Tea and it was seriously one of the best drinks I've ever had. The Best Drink ever is a must try as well! Marley provided incredible customer service -- super friendly, welcoming, and had a smile that added to the perfect vibe. And my last pet peave is with no one in drive through and no one at counter but staff just chatting laughing and drinking coffee but the tables, seats and counter were dirty full of crumbs. And the garbage was overflowing.l inside. Coffee still decent. This place is too new to let it fall apart. When I found out they were making one near me, I HAD to stop by and get a drink! I have only tried it in San Diego and super happy there's one finally close to me:) the staff was super friendly and recommended me the matcha! There was no line but when I pulled up to the window to pay they informed me to please park in the curbside pick up area as they were going to take my drink to me. It took about 20 mins for them to come out and give me my drink:/ which I don't understand why as there was no line in the drive thru and hardly anyone inside. But nonetheless the worker apologized for the long wait and was very sweet and friendly. I had turned my husband onto this business during a training day, and he was impressed with the flavor. This location has both seating and a convenient drive-thru. This morning he came on his own while running errands. I woke up to a disappointed husband and a cup of ice. He spent just over $6 for a 16oz cup of ice and 3 sips of coffee. Costs are up on everything everywhere. Then there is a point where it makes one feel ripped off. My husband felt ripped off. This is our second time into the Better Buzz Coffee that just opened in Surprise, Arizona. We've gone through the drive-through both times and find it very convenient. This café reminds me of a Dutch Bros in the way that the service is very friendly and the workers are waiting outside by the to-go order menu to speak to customers and take payment. Since it was our first couple times and we asked lots of questions, we found talking to a human in-person to be very helpful. I'm seriously considering replacing Starbucks and other cafés I visit with this café because the food that is offered here is the sort of food that I would prefer buying/consuming. The choices are healthier and look more appetizing to me. They've got a really good lunch and breakfast menu . They've got a nice variety of coffee, teas and smoothies as well. We're usually coming back from the gym when we stop in so my daughter can get a nice smoothie for recovery. Baristas and staff are still being trained at this location. I think because our food was taking so long to come out, the barista showered us with gifts such as a free reusable Better Buzz reusable cup with lid. It's very nice looking with an all black cup and lid and the Better Buzz logo written in gold. She said you can bring the cup back in and get a discount on beverages. She also gave us a free stickers - yay!! Who doesn't love a free sticker? Today we ordered: - Pink Dragon Smoothie - my daughter loved this. It looks so vibrantly beautiful as well, with a strong fuschia color. You can really taste the bananas and the apple juice along with some other berries and ingredients. Bee pollen is sprinkled on top. - Small Hot Latte with Coconut Milk - they serve a nice good classic latte - Yogurt Bowl (Coconut Yogurt) - I was surprised by how yummy this was, and I ended up eating the entire bowl myself, even though it looked huge. This was such a delicious treat with real honeycomb, fresh berries and granola topping a generous portion of coconut yogurt. Greek yogurt is also available. - 3 Seed Avocado Toast - a nice light, citrusy snack toast. Not too filling, but satisfying. They have a rewards program here. We've been anticipating the opening of this place and we had to check out what the BUZZ was all about and let me tell you we were not disappointed. Today we tried the "Best Coffee Ever" and the Gingerbread Latte and they were just what we were looking for. (Not too sweet and perfect coffee flavor that wasn't too acidic) We came by after lunch and wish we came sooner so we weren't full already, because all of their food items looked delicious!
