Great pizza and local brews!!

Awesome dining experience. Fantastic service! Great pizza and beer. Very affordable and fun.

This has been, and always will be, my most favorite pizza. I grew up on this stuff, and it uses local meats, so an easy 4 stars. The prices continue to go up, and for such a small town, that is pretty extreme, but I get a pizza from here every time I come down to visit. If you don't like the way they cut it into little diamond shapes, just tell them to cut it normal. read more

We stopped here thinking it would be like the wild river in Medford ....wrong! When we entered we were not greeted by anyone stood there for a good 60 seconds and looked at what appeared to be a dirty old man bar not a restaurant. It was dark dirty looking there were very few windows would be a better location for a gogo bar. As we stood there staring at the wait staff ignoring us we could plainly see all that was available was beer and pizza cooked by some dirty looking Lad in the kitchen. Would not recommending eating here unless you're a well known to the staff perhaps a local with an iron gut and no taste buds. I wonder why the owners of the wild river allow this place to operate under their name it's bad for their reputation and their other two restaurants. I must admit that my expectations for a pizza place in a tiny town in Oregon were VERY low. Let me be the first to admit, though, that I was wrong. We had two small pizzas (two much food for the four of us) and they were both quite good. Crisp crust, good sauce, right amount of cheese and toppings. Tons of beer on tap and friendly service. I saw this place had a high rating but Yelp disappointed. Our fries were either breaded or so heavily fried that they were crusted. They were basically inedible. The mushrooms on my burger were canned. I could barely find the hamburg patty. I guess was ordering a burger at a pizza joint. The IPA was good and there was a local country duo singing which lent atmosphere to the family style rustic restaurant. There is outdoor seating too. read more

Don't be put off by the turquoise vinyl chairs and unusual decor. This place has good pizza and great beer- we had the IPA.

I stopped here with a friend for dinner. I was expecting something totally different when I saw "brewing company" in the name. I was thinking it was more of a bar or tasting room that serves pizza. But it's not - it's an order-at-the-counter place with a bunch of large community tables and banquet room. I have to say I liked it! It was pretty busy on a Thursday night, and we ordered a beer and small pizza. We both loved the pizza! Crispy crust and good amount of toppings. We each had Wild River beers (Kölsch for me, ESB for her) and were pleased. I would stop here again. read more

The Beer is Great!! Will be back for that!! The building is great big and open huge tables from huge slabs of wood. Warm in the winter cool in the summer, nice patio out back. The pizza is really bad...cracker crust from a freezer soggy and bland, I love a thin crust but this goes south moments after it hits the table. If you do order the pizza, and you don't have a 5yr old w/ you ask them to cut it the right way... not into tiny little bits. I lost my appetite. Another visit... tried a burger..Burgers were dry bun cold and stale. Big salad bar nice sometimes, empty at others. The staff are so nice, so friendly you hate to complain to them...it's not there fault. One can't make a good pie with no real dough, which they do have at there location in Grants Pass, or a good burger w/ so little meat. It's a bummer cause i wanted to love this place, but need food these days to drink beer. GREAT DESSERT tho awesome pecan treats, cookies, anything sweet I've had was great. read more

My absolute favorite of all pizza places! Beer is amazing too, the Oatmeal Stout is my favorite (at the moment) but the rest of the are awesome too! Fries, sandwiches, stromboli, salads, YUMMMMMMM!! We try to come here at least once a week. read more

This place epitomizes everything that is wrong with our society. Grossly oversized portions of highly processed food piled on the table in rapid succession (not that there is anything to pause and savor), served amidst a depressingly lame ambiance. I want to start this review by saying we did not order any pizza. We were on a roadtrip passing through Grants Pass and decided to take a break and have a beer. Since the place had brewing co in it's title we thought this would be a good place. The smell of the pizza made us hungry but we decided to order onion rings and a cesar salad. The beer choice only features about 6 beers which is pretty typical of a brewery. I am not a big fan of strong beers so I ordered the honey wheat (I love blue moon, hefenwizen, shocktop, honey wheat, etc.) I thought it was tasty but my husband disagreed. They also haven't placed with their beers since like 1998 which I thought was funny because that meant I was 13 last time they won an award. I would not recommend the onion rings or the Cesar salad. Both were gross and we didn't even finish half. We actually regretted ordering food a lot. Maybe we should have tried the pizza! read more

We were visiting Cave Junction for three days and looking for dining options for our family of 6. We were so happy to find this place. We had dinner here our first night, and both the pizza and beer were absolutely delicious. We have a lot of great pizza places in our hometown, but this just about topped them all. So good! Everyone in our group of picky eaters (which includes both carnivores and non-meat eaters) was thoroughly happy with the pizzas and drinks. The following night, a Sunday, we found most restaurants closed by the time we headed out to eat, so we wound up back at Wild River again. The place was super busy this time, and there was a long line which made us wary, but a cheerful gal moved the line along quickly, expertly handling all the transactions. We expected to hear we were going to have to wait for around an hour for our food, but she promised it would be ready in about 30 minutes, and it was. There were a handful of folks playing guitar and singing in the second room, and we loved taking our beers in to listen while we waited on our food. Great place! read more

Normally I like this place. But today I had a very bad experience. I ordered a small 3 topping. Saw that they did glutan free. When got bill was shocked that I had to pay 2$ extra! No where on menu did it say that nor did employe say that cost extra. Talked to manager he said didn't have room on menu!! Very rude. Then pizza was over cooked! I am very disappointed. read more

Heard this was THE place for pizza. Well, I hate to see the other place then. We ordered 3 to go and asked how long. 10 minutes. So we left the women folk there and me and my buddy headed off to buy some beer (wouldn't you think a brewing company would have growlers or something). We returned and hadn't got out pizzas yet so we sat and kt talking. After a while we started wondering where our pies were. I checked my watch and it had been 45 minutes. I went to the counter Nd asked and without saying a word the lady turned around and went to the back where she spoke with a cook and grabbed our three boxes off the counter where they had been presumably sitting for a half hour. She said, "sorry, it's been a busy phone day." And that was it. No here's something for your trouble. Nothing. We got back to our place to eat and it was really pretty average pizza. read more

Driving through Cave Junction? Bypass the Subway and stop here - you won't regret it. Great pizza, refreshing beer, homey atmosphere. This is definitely a locals place - the Cave Junction cops and firefighters were eating their lunch here when we stopped in for lunch on a weekday, and there a photos of all the town's youth sports teams all over the wall. read more

We were in Cave Junction visiting family recently so we got a chance to check out some local eateries. Wild River Pizza was great! We wish we had something like this back in our home town in South OC California. All we have here are so-so chains. The pizza from Wild River was so good we got some extra to go and had it for breakfast! read more

The pizza was pretty good. They cut it in a unique way...in a sort of grid fashion. It made each piece bite size. The staff was friendly enough and the service was prompt. However, it did get weird when many of the other older patrons kept staring at us for several minutes...either at me as a non-white person or at our family of blended race. read more

I have been visiting this place every time I pass through the state since I was a teenager and it had its original name of the Pizza Deli. It always delivers excellent toppings even if they cut their pies in diamond shapes. Well worth the trip. read more

This review is for the Cave Junction location. What a disappointing couple of sandwiches and a just-okay beer. The sauce on the barbecue sandwich was glopped on so thick you could hardly taste anything else, and it's not great sauce. My partner said the reuben sandwich was "just okay." The order-taker was having a crummy day, which I would cut some slack normally but it didn't help with the overall experience. You can definitely do better than this place. read more

Swinging through town and had an IPA and wood fired barbecue chicken pizza (the best I have had)...Excellent! I will stop by again!

I have been coming to Cave Junction for 25 years now to see my buddy Chris and every time we go to the Pizza Deli eg: Wild River Brewing and Pizza. Their pizza is usually very good and they have a good variety of toppings to put on the pizza. They have 10-12 beers on tap and they are all good. It's a real family oriented place to go it's friendly and a little noisy at times. But I can't imagine coming up here without going there- it's a tradition! read more

Good place for a break on 199 between CCity and GPass. I'm a serious calzone fan, Wild River makes a fine stromboli instead. Excellent substitute with all your selected fresh meat and veggie goodies rolled and cooked up nicely inside the savory pie, flavor is on point and outer dough cooked crisp. House beers here are a fine accessory, IPA matches pie well. Nice deck outside to enjoy your strom and suds when weather works. read more

We ate here twice during my stay in Grants Pass. The first time we shared a small Blue Moon Pizza and it was AMAZING. That pizza alone is what brought us back a second time. We decided to try something new when we went back so we once again shared a small Pesto Pizza. it wasn't as good as the Blue Moon but was still very tasty. On the second time around we both got salads from the salad bar. There were a lot of options and we were both happy with our salad creations. We did try any beers because we were driving but they did look yummy as well. read more

Great Pizza and great fried chicken and spuds. Not sure why but they have a place in Grants Pass and the pizza is nothing like the pizza in Cave Junction. Deli delight is just fantastic if you like meat toppings. its loaded, we do ask them to cook the pizza well done because we like a crispy this crust, but I do the same with Abbys. All american pizza....there should be no such thing as taco pizza and one should never put cheddar on pizza....they do hve a comoanynthat will deliver, so it is better than having to get it from one of the big chains. read more

I'm not a beer drinker, but I live locally and prefer to support our businesses. A fun place, with lots of locals. Clean, friendly and the pizza is always good, but I'm afraid I made my last visit. $50.34 for one medium and one large pizza is too much for me to return. Please consider reducing your prices.
