We both ordered the soup and half sandwich special, which turned out to be the perfect choice. The portions were just right--filling without being too heavy--and everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully made. One of the highlights of our visit was meeting the owner, Janet. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome, and her friendly, genuine personality really added something special to the experience. Seriously good pizza where the crust has that perfect balance of airiness, crunch and chew. The sauce is nice and toppings are high quality as well but the pizza starts with a crust and they nailed that. We tried some other pasta dishes etc but we come back for the pizza and maybe a draft beer as well. read more

I would like to start by saying I highly recommend Creekside! I had the Dan's Favorite. It had a lot of flavor profile garlicky and oniony. When I walked in everyone was very friendly and quick to start a conversation. After I had ordered I went out and sat on the patio with an overview of the creek. The food came out quickly and was delicious! Shortly after I got my food the host came out and asked me how it was, then proceeded to tell me how the pizza got its name. (Dan is her father) I had an amazing experience and it felt like I was fed dinner rather than just grabbing a bite to eat. 10/10 would recommend. We've been going here since it opened. Great food and great people until lately. Haven't ordered for a couple of months, but ordered our regular meat ball pizza and Hawaiian BBQ. What we got instead of whole meat balls were slivers of meat balls. The Hawiian had barely a hint of bbq sauce and NO canadian bacon. Won't make this mistake again. So sad. read more

Stoped in for dinner after a long day of exploring. Tried the pizza and a pasta special. The pasta was good and the pesto sauce was delish. The pizza crust was incredible. The family, yet formal atmosphere make you feel like home in the "special occasion dining room" saved by grandma for special guests. Really enjoyable experience and loved the outdoor patio to look out on the creek. I tried their gluten-free option and thought it was nice and don't have a lot to compare to - I ended up adding a little salt to give the pizza little more flavor profile but otherwise I was very happy with my choice! We drove 2 hours to have this pizza again and it always exceeds our expectations! Such a beautiful location with kind people who take pride in what they are making and how they treat their customers. Intentional ingredients, attention to detail and love you can taste in their food. Our 6 year old isn't a fan of pepperoni and you'd be shocked how often I get attitude from pizza places when asking for 1/4 of our pizza with no pepperoni. I've even been told no! But with Creekside when I requested this she said no problem and still had a smile on her face. It seems like a simple thing but to a parent of a picky child who has a hard time eating meals, it means the world. Our other son even ate the extra meat sauce from our garlic bread with a spoon because he liked it so much. first of all, i am from PA and there is a great pizza place and italian restaurant where i used to live. that pizza is my ultimate so far. it is a new york style pizza with lots of cheese and great hand tossed crust we have been in the grants pass area for about a year now and i have tried many of the local pizzas. only a couple are to my liking. creekside has great pizza! it is right at the top and fairly priced. it is a little place that some might call a dive, but it really is a cute place right on the creek and has outdoor seating and enclosed seating as well. i would recommend it to anyone read more

It is a charming setting along the creek. But no AC, self serve and order at the counter and then they encourage you busing your own table. The food was maybe a 4 out of 10. Server was very nice but the person whipping tables down almost bumped into me like I was in her way. I have a hurt knee so hard for me to get around right now so it felt super rude.
