This ice cream is so good! It was perfect after having lunch at 49th state. They let you do two flavors for the single scoop which is nice. They also let you sample flavors! I got the white raven and another flavor I can't remember the name of which had a marshmallow base and chocolate covered graham crackers. It was like s'mores. Absolutely love Wild Scoops, so it was so fun to get to go to their little location in the 49th State Beer Garden to get some dessert while out exploring Anchorage. While this location is more of a stand, they have plenty of picnic tables around so you can sit and enjoy if you want. Love how rich, creamy, and flavorful their ice creams are. So wish we lived closer because I don't know when we'll get to have some again! Great for an afternoon treat while walking around or while enjoying a beer at the brewery. read more

This was so cute! Down the stairs by 49th State Brewing, I loved the ice cream here. I got the s'mores flavor in a cone, and the cookies and cream flavor was also really good when I sampled it. Really high quality, good variety, and reasonable prices. I didn't love the Baked Alaska topping (way too sweet! and I love sweet things), but it was so photogenic, and I loved that it was so quick and made to order. Friendly staff, too. read more

Wild scoops is a must-visit ice cream shop in Downtown Anchorage, and this is their new "pop-up" location in 49th State Brewing's beer garden (yay, beer and ice cream!). Their flavor selection is awesome; most flavors use local ingredients that are in season (like Alaskan blueberries). They also always have a couple dairy-free flavors on tap, including (usually) a sorbet and a non-dairy ice cream. Their signature feature is their "Baked Alaska" topping, which is a MUST TRY, it's so good that it's the baked Alaska by which I judge all others. FYI: if you are dairy free, the actual baked Alaska does not have any dairy in it, but the cone does. There's lots of seating in the beer garden! read more
