Not much of a fan. Came with a group so there was a catered "lunch" .....at 2:30. Choices were chicken (sketchy) hot dogs (weird color but staff had no clue as to what kind of hotdog they were, and hamburgers (my girls said they were gross. We rented a cabana in Orca section. There is a sewer smell. It's overcrowded. Someone stole our tube and there were people smoking weed. Won't return. read more

It was great until we heard someone shitted in the wave pool and kicked everyone out of it. That's pretty disgusting to hear we kept to the small kids area and it wasn't bad. The place is very out dated, you can't really expect much from this place but it's okay. Just watch yourself in the wave pool, that ain't no snickers boy! The wait was way too long for the rides (2 hours for one ride is not okay) and the wave pool was never turned on.

Do not waste your money here! Way overpriced for what you get. The bathrooms are disgusting and customer service sucks.

SO disappointed with this place!!! I was a season pass holder for 3 years and loved it. We took one year off since my kiddos were in between heights, came back this year to NOTHING available for anyone under 48 inches besides a disgusting lookig wave pool and the orca pool on opening day. Absolute crap communication, insincere apology and completely false advertisement on FB. They were posting about opening day and come on over, when they KNEW at that point half of everything was shut down. Great place for the whole family, this is our third year with season passes and I can relax while the kids play.

Ok so, it started with me ordering a cabana on their website the night before our arrival to the park on 8-9-18. This was the first time I have ever ordered a cabana online, so I got one by the wave pool as this is the most likable place for the kids. The website asked me when ordering the cabana for how many people, I typed in 5. Well as soon as I checked in to the cabana table. This very nice girl told me that the cabana I ordered was for two people only. She went on to say that the website has a glitch on it and it makes this mistake all the time. Ok so then fix it WWA. Then the girl tells me and takes me, as I asked her to, to the cabanas by the wave pool at South Beach. I picked another cabana and she says you'll have to pay the difference as these cabanas are more expensive. I was hoping she would give me a break as to the internet glitch was not my fault and apparently it's been going on for some time. But the kicker of all this, was after all this, THE WAVE POOL WAS NOT WORKING AT ITS FULL CAPACITY. The waves sucked, if you wanna call it a wave. Why didn't they tell me the wave pool wasn't working? That's why I picked this location. That's primarily why we went to WWA and not The Island Park. There should have been something posted on their website or signs out by the ticket booth. What a disappointment for all of us. I want a refund of the cabana and entrance to make me want to return again. Very very dissatisfied. And I only picked the one star because I had to in order to post this review. read more

My kids loved the park. There was something for all of them to do (14,13,12, 2 9s, and 7). There was lots for younger kids to do as well. The food prices were reasonable and you are allowed to bring in your own food. The park has a lot of shade while walking around. Recommend getting rafts so you don't have to wait. Also, the general parking area has any, so keep those feet moving! Other than that, it was worth the money. Thanks Wild Water! read more

Over all had a good time with my family. However, it is severely over priced!! This visit cost us over $200! we went on a Monday arrived at 1230ish. Park opens at 11 am. and it still was pretty busy. Lines werent too bad. There is really no place to sit. Had to go and rent a cabana. Cabana was next to the childrens pirate ship which was good for my child and i. Spent most time at all the kiddie attractions, they were all nice and not too over crowded. Restrooms are completely disgusting! Stink and overflowed with poop! Food was over priced and horrible. We all has a slice of pizza and drink that cane with our tickets.also bought nachos, chicken tenders and a burger. only decent thing was the fries. Everyone was friendly, other guests and staff we came across, so that was very pleasant. No one went into our cabana or tried to steal or anything but we had still rented a locker incase. Disliked that the park open late ish at 11 am and close early at 6 pm! Sun goes down at 830pm ish so it was bummer its so expensive and they close so early! My toddler was so sad to leave but he had a blast!!! read more

How do you give a water park in central valley a bad review? I have found the park to be absolutely wonderful and our family will hit any water park there is to go to when we travel. Lifeguards were attentive and nice as was the staff. I also recommend getting a cabana on a hot day if you can but there's plant of shade here. The other park Islands is also great but absolutely no shade. BRAVO we highly recommend! read more

Disappointed, we have had season passes the last 2 seasons. We went Wednesday (June 5,2019) and everything that was broken last season plus some new things are STILL broken! We have 2 young children under 4. The octopus slide and the Lilly pads in the children's area were both roped off. Both were broken last season and never fixed. Plus now the pirate ship slide in the kid area And the pirate ship in the wave pool were both closed. Just seems like the place is run super inefficiently. The sprinklers came on in the kid area soaking our towels and bags, the lifeguards were alerted right away and it took 45 mins for someone to figure out how to turn sprinklers OFF. Be prepared to wait in line for a long time. Opening week and they only had ONE window open for season passes and tickets. read more

Horrible Horrible Horrible!!! We Celebrated our daughter 6th Birthday there.. And the Wave Pool did not work. The employees kept telling us and everyone: it will be 15 minutes.. It will 30 minutes It will be 20 minutes This went on for 3 hours until they finally said it will be closed. To make matters worse they wouldn't even provide a partial refund or discounted future tickets... As a result we will never celebrate or go there again.. read more

It's a pretty nice place. Great for family and great way to cool off for the summer. My only issue is with the staff. Got costco tickets for this place that comes with a free pizza voucher and two girl employees in the cafe sent us away when we were next in line and told us we can walk all the way to the other side of the park to get our food. Laughed and said, "that's how you get rid of a fucking line" as we walked away. We were next and I don't understand the need to send us away. They weren't closing. Came back to sit and eat 10-15 minutes later near the cafe and they took the rest of a long line with no problem. Other than that, life guards were good and it truly is amazing how they can stand the heat. read more

I have been coming here since I was a kid. Now i take my family Love It Best water park around by far. Not perfect but what place you go to is. Love all the selection of water choices something for everyone. Lots of shade and you dont have to pay for it. They have really made this park very nice. We tried the other Park in town and its to spread out and no shade, so you almost have to buy there shade they give no options and there slides are always down. My family and I went opening weekend of this year and unfortunately we did not have a good day. Many of the rides were down. But after getting ahold of someone and explaining our concerns they were able to recreate our day. Thanks to Ivonne my family and I will continue to visit wild water. This is a great water park with lots of shaded area, chairs and places to rest. The life guards are great and I saw them multiple times stopping people from breaking the rules. My biggest complaint is that on the day we chose to go, over half of the rides were not open and the wave Pool wasn't running. I was told that their life guards were still in school so they were understaffed that day. If that is the case, tickets should be discounted. It is pretty expensive to take a family of 4 (even if they do let you bring your own food and drinks) so not being able to ride half the rides was not ideal. Next year I know that although going before summer break officially starts is nice because the park wasn't super busy, it is probably not wise since half the rides are sure to be closed. read more

This is the best waterpark that I've been to. The water park has tons of trees- easy to find shade. Didn't look so dry like the rest of the town with all the grass, trees and ponds. No desert, like I imagined it would be. You could also bring your own food, just no glass and alcohol. There's a wave pool very close to the toddler wading pool, that I didn't have to worry about the kids splitting up. The food was moderately price, comparable to other waterparks; $5 for an all day drink. This place is wonderful, wonderful, wonderful for little kids. read more

Let me start by saying all of my bad experiences happened after I had been a season ticket holder for two years. First off, there was a person smoking by the café area and the staff cared less even when I told them about it. Second they allow the inner tubes in the big wave pool with all the kids, also I saw a mother with a one month old in the wave pool. Not even in a swim suit! Talk about disgusting. I remember there being an incident years ago where a kid died in the wave pool and yet they still allow inner tubes to be in the wave pool! I can see how a person could drown with all these morons running the park. I just discovered The Island water park, things inside there are 100 times better. We were just visiting the area and the kids wanted to go swimming, so we had no idea what to expect when we googled "water park-fresno" and decided to show up. Our original intent was just to drop the kids off, but after seeing some of the sketchy people walking in there we decided to stick around. Definitely not impressed with this place. It's more of a park with some water slides then a water theme park like Raging Waters. The good: It's not that expensive to get in, and you can bring your own food/drinks. The bad: This place could seriously use some cleaning/updating... the word "deferred maintenance" comes to mind. The ugly: the restrooms are gas-station gross. Seriously! Growing up in Fresno, going to Clovis Lakes a couple times a year every year, you don't realize how spoiled you're getting at such a great water park. First of all, there is SHADE. I've been to a number of other waterparks, both local and out-of-town, and they seem dead set on maximizing the UV rays and blistering sidewalks that their guests take in. Not here. Wild Water Adventure Park has lots of places to hide from the hot sun, and it makes the visit better for the whole family. Secondly, there are plenty of ways to get WET. I went to another waterpark with my kids recently and it was more than an hour from the time we got through the gate before any of us got wet. Here, not only are there plenty of attractions (which help spread the crowd and reduce the lines), there are plenty of places to put your toe or your head into the water before you go get in line. Third, you're not getting gouged every time you turn a corner. Sure, you can rent a locker or a cabana, or buy some snacks, but you don't HAVE to. You can bring your own food and (family-friendly) drinks, pull up a picnic table, or just sit down in some of the aforementioned shade to take a break for a snack. That's not always an option at these places. Fourth, as a father, I really appreciate the safe play areas for the smaller crowd. They have right-sized wading pools and slides for guests that aren't yet ready for the Bonzai Pipeline, and that's important for the overall family experience. All told, the more I go out of town and visit other waterparks, the more I appreciate what we have here locally. read more

There were several manager types walking around surveying things which made me feel safe. Clean, shady spots to have a picnic. The wave pool has actual waves. If you're trying to book a birthday party here, make sure you have everything in writing!! We contacted them to book a birthday party for our daughter and got a verbal quote of one price and when we went to book it, the changed the pricing on us. When we called to question these people got a fake name so when the supervisor called me back, she stated that there's no one by that name!! Never again will I ever come back here!! Nice variety of water slides. The large kids area is wonderful and the wavepool is always fun. Food service is a bit confusing. You order in one place then take your receipt to another window, but they don't always tell you that. A place to sit in the shade is hard to come by. You have to be there before they open most days to get a chair at all. read more

Being a new father of a 3 year old and 1 year I have to give this place 5 stars. It's really kid friendly for my new walking 1 year old to play in the shallow water play ground and love the private Cabana as they block the strong sun rays really well. read more

The management doesn't appear to be very interested in customer service. Drove 20 minutes to look at the park and they were randomly closed. Even though there were several people in the office sitting around, an employee told us to come back the next day. We wanted to get a quick look at the park, at least, before buying season passes for the family, so we asked to speak to the manager. The manager just crossed her arms and said the same thing. Even though there was nobody in the park and there were adequate staff to allow us a brief look, the answer was NO! The staff resumed surfing the internet in the background. Not a very fun time, took an hour to get on any slide did 3 slides our entire day there. Lunch was odd got a burger from one line then had to take my bun and fries to another line to wait for staff to grill my burger. I wish we would have brought a popup tent and BBQ stuff then it would have been more enjoyable. The staff was awesome they helped me find everything that we were lookin' for. read more

Was there on a Sunday and they closed the slides 30 minutes early. We had come into the park just for the late afternoon/evening. Paid for full price tickets, only to have the last 30 minutes of time taken away. If you want to close early, then change your hours of operation to reflect that. I decided to take my little brother and cousins to Wild Waters. I have been going for years but it was their first time. We all had a blast! We spent the majority of our day in the wave pool and the waves have never looked better! I don't know what they did to improve them but the waves are HUGE! I was also happy to see they added shade structures for guests waiting in line. The rides were a blast as usual. My little brother gave the drop zone a try but the rest of us were too scared. The three of us got to ride the family ride together which was fun but you could tell the tubes were old and needed repairs. The staff was all friendly and helpful. The lifeguards all seemed to have fun and joked with us as we were going down slides. Before we left, we each got a strawberry covered funnel cake and dippin dots. One of our funnest trips by far and we look forward to going back! read more

Food area was awful, had to wait to get a bun with lettuce/tomato/onion then go to a grill to get a precooked patty, no way that should take 30 minutes. People were waiting longer to receive a precooked pizza that was already sliced and waiting on a warming tray. There was really no excuse for that slow of service with something that take so little effort. The lifeguards were pretty irresponsible, wave pool states children under 48" need a lifejacket and to be accompanied by an adult, I saw infant newborns in there no lifejacket just being lightly held while being 'taught' how to swim spitting up water and shit pretty sure I seen one with just a regular diaper not even a swimming diaper. Plenty of kids just in rafts with no lifejackets as well. The two lifeguards with measuring sticks don't really care when children run right by them. Supervisor and park ranger both walked by seen this and stated nothing. I got a cut on my back at the end of the day on one of their slides, not a single staff member stated I was bleeding and I wasn't even aware until another park-goer informed me, lucky I don't have any blood borne illnesses. Plenty of people with small camping grills right across the tube rental area, managers and plenty of staff able to see. Not a single fuck given. "Personal BBQ grills may not be brought into the park. The only exception is for sell out days, which will be ONLY July 4th, July 5th & August 31st of 2014" This park is a perfect example of why drownings have been on a rise. Visited the park on Monday. No long lines and the employees were all great! Park employee (Zach) retrieved my sunglasses from the bottom of a pool after I lost them on a water slide. There is no lazy river and the wave machine was not working. Issues with the wave machine seem to be a regular occurrence from what we were told. The Cabana's are great! The extra 50.00 was well worth it. read more

I bring a group here annually and the group department is WONDERFUL to deal with. The food is great, they are quick getting us in and out. I have no complaints what so ever. There is plenty of shade and despite other reviews, I have observed the lifeguards taking their jobs very seriously and stepping up, doing the right thing. My only complaint is that the park is getting old and has seen better days. The slides are slowly falling into dis-repair, the bottom of the wave pool has got some dings in it, things look weather beaten. It is just time for a fresh coat of paint. read more
