I was able to get an appointment the next day! I made mention that both of kids have autism and that they don't do well at these visit. She acted completely normal and said I had nothing to worry about. Well my husband was also very impressed with how friendly and understanding they were. He mentioned the dentist that dealt with my kids had a lot of patience and he loved the technic she used to do the exam. We've heard horror stories of kids being literally strapped down! That didn't happen here! Anyway, I'm new to Phoenix and didn't know many people to ask for a personal reference for a dentist which is why I counted on yelp to help me. Well they definitely didn't disappoint! We are scheduled for our next appointment already! Completely recommend!

I get that they're trying to create a fun atmosphere for kids while they wait. My daughter is 2 and does not watch screens and there were screens everywhere. I realize I'm the minority with this. The tree in the middle is nice so I was having her point out the different animals in the tree. I appreciate that we had a private room for her first appointment, as I noticed several chairs in an open space. As expected, my daughter cried and was not a fan of getting her teeth looked at. The assistant and doctor were very kind and patient with her and took the time to explain everything to us and answer our questions. My daughter was happy to get a new toy at the end.

What used to be a smooth,…read morecompassionate, and well-run practice is now disorganized and incredibly frustrating to deal with. We've had multiple scheduling issues in the past, but today was the worst. My son had a broken wire on his bottom permanent retainer. I called and was told it could be repaired without seeing the orthodontist. (For some reason, you now have to call a separate number to schedule ortho appointments.) Later, someone from the office called to confirm the appointment and told me we would need ortho after all--then put me on hold and came back saying actually, it could be handled in the general office. Confusing, but we went in anyway. When we arrived, they charged me $75 for the repair. My son went back, and instead of fixing the wire, they didn't even see it. They ended up roughly ripping out the bottom retainer completely. My son has anxiety, it's noted in his file, he takes medication for it--which Dr. Hannah understood and worked with patiently--but no one here took that into consideration. After removing the retainer, they made him sit and wait, only to tell him they couldn't finish the job because the ortho cabinet was locked. He was left with rough glue in his mouth and his tongue was being scratched by dried adhesive. The staff told me I now had to call ortho myself and wait for a new appointment. When I called, I was told the doctor won't even be in for over two weeks and to get it done sooner I would have to drive from our home in Glendale to Chandler - 45 minutes. I agreed the chandler appointment. This was a complete mess from start to finish. Poor communication, lack of coordination, and zero concern for patient experience. Really disappointing. I am looking for a new dentist for my kids.

I've gotten to know some of the staff (which you can always request for for your next appointment), and Dr. Sun is awesome. She's very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I'm so relieved to have gotten to know them. I'll have my braces taken off in October 2024. I've had them on since February 2023. Payment options were super easy to set up, and they're very accommodating if you can't pay exactly on the date you chose. They also have discounts and incentives for having dental insurance and booking appointments in the morning. It works for me since I have two kids. I've never had any HUGE issues. Since the day they referred me to an oral surgeon to having my impacted canine pulled down and my baby lateral tooth pulled, I have nothing but good things to say. I will be referred again to have my consult/for my lateral dental implants at a later date, but for now I'm truly happy with the confidence they have brought to my smile. The dentists have been pleasant and we have learned that I need an early appointment since toddlers are fussier at the end of their day. The waiting room does not have much for kids to play with or stay entertained but they were close to my home so we continued to attend. I had an appointment scheduled for 6 months at 7am today. When they called to confirm my appointment, they no longer had a provider available at 7 am and wanted to move the appointment to 8am. I said "okay" because my first meeting of the day was at 9am and they are mere minutes from my home. I arrived at 7:35 knowing I would likely be waiting until 8am. As I sat there the waiting room continued to fill up. Some children were there for things like ortho work or fillings but there were a few families that as I listened were there for checkups, like my son. These families were called in one after another, including the checkups that had walked in at 8am or right after. At 8:20 am I decided to leave as I could no longer wait. It is unacceptable to move our appointment later and then not get my son back in a timely manner but continue to take others back. I was told at 7:45 that I would be back "around 8, as soon as the room got set up." You might not value my time but I do. Extremely disappointed in the experience with your front office.
