Everything is a la carte. The wings weren't cooked to my liking. I couldn't finish them as the sauce is waaaaaaaaayyyyy too salty.

Overall experience was pretty bad. Let's start with the food, boneless wings were dried out pieces of chicken with little to no sauce. They forgot our fries and we ate over half the meal before we got them. Our server absolutely sucked. The guy literally did nothing. Got our drinks and disappeared for awhile. Took our order and then same thing. He would just disappear for over 15 minutes at the time with no regard to whether we needed anything. By far one of my favorite places to get wings. Every time I've dined here, I've never been disappointed. I am also a fan of their weekly trivia night (Wednesdays). My co-workers and I attend whenever we're in town and try to kick some butt. Another big hit are the chicken feathers. You can get these babies coated with the same sauce as the wings....AMAZING! I travel a lot for work, and one of the items that weighs very heavily on my rating of a restaurant is Service. If it weren't for the terrible service I got at the bar in this place last night, the place would be a solid 3.5 - 4. The Onion Rings were AWESOME, huge rings with excellent batter. The Gold Rush and China Syndrom sauces were excellent and the wings were meatier than most at places like this, although not the best I have had. The Big issue with this place seems to be that if you aren't "one of the regulars" you just get lost in the shuffle. I sat down at the bar and waited at least 5 minutes to even get acknowledged by the bar tender, as he was too busy chatting it up with several people around the area I was seated. Then, when I asked what they had good for IPA on tap, it was like it was a struggle to give someone some advice. I got the distinct feeling this guy couldn't have cared less if I was sitting there or if it were an empty seat. You should never feel like you're inconveniencing the wait staff at a restaurant. More of the same when waiting to have my order taken, 15 minutes with my menu closed, sitting on the bar in front of me. Finally had to tell the guy I was ready to order while he was ringing up another slip (the benefit of sitting near the register I guess...). My food came out promptly, of course brought out by someone other than the bar tender, who was courteous. Thankfully I saved my beer for after my meal, cause I doubt I would have been able to flag this guy down for a refill, I still ended up waiting another 10-15 minutes with empty plates and an empty glass in front of me, right next to my credit card sitting on the bar, before I had to wave him down to get my check. Again, I hate to be so down on the place just because of service, but come on... They were busy, but not slammed, and there was at least 1 other bartender behind the bar the whole time. Each of them maybe had 10 patrons to keep track of, and most of the time of my bar tender was spent chatting it up with the locals about guns or sports. If you're coming here for a quick meal, and care about being taken care of in a timely manner, I would suggest avoiding the bar area, and grabbing a table. read more

Although my waitress was nice, the food is awful. We ordered 16 wings with 2 sauces. We asked for lemon pepper and hot mixed, but we were told they could not do that, which was fine! They brought the wings out and they were ice cold! I normally do not complain but I had to send those back. The waitress was very sweet about it! When or "new" wings came back, they were obviously the old wings refried! They were dry and slightly burnt! And to top it off they brought us a lemon pepper hot mixed sauce on the side! I couldn't help but think "why couldn't you just put that on the wings??" Not a good experience. I won't be back, but maybe we just got a bad cook. wild wings....heard this was new to macon....which made me laugh. then i read the other review, which really made me roll with laughter. i don't know about wow or damn....but, it is pretty lively in here-i think it has something to do with insane amounts of tv activity. my ex is like a wing fanatic, but so not a foodie, and he therefore loves this place...i'm so not into wings, but i must admit, the wings are tasty. plus, you can get them however the hell you might ever imagine that you want them, and the menu descriptions are spot on. the other food at wild wings is pretty good too. by this i mean pretty good for mass produced bar food. this is nothing to write home to mama about, but you won't be pissed when you leave. sports, sports all the time. i think i'd perhaps like to watch football here, if i thought i could stomach the rabid georgia fans....whom i despise :) so what is the great thing about wild wing cafe?....happy hour specials that made me super duper happy. i'm starting to think that maybe macon is a wee bit on the suck side, so to ease your pain, establishments have decided to push two dollar beer specials on you. this totally works, as i am so used to 5 dollar beers and 12 dollar cocktails. in terms of sports bar liveliness and that good time feeling from the moment you walk in the door...this is your place. sorta reminds you of college....if you know about the frat boy scene. good times. sterile, safe and fun eatin and drinkin. why not? read more

I would give this zero if I could. In general, in like Wild Wings but skip this location. Wait times are ridiculous for a half empty place. Staff obviously don't understand being in a Custer Service industry. There are so many Wing places around like Locos and Buffalo Wild Wings that this place is not worth it. read more

I was told this place was great for it's wings! Unfortunately I won't know - after waiting for 15 mins my group was seated, however we had been seated in the traffic pathway near the bar. I had asked the hostess if we could have one of the open booths but she told me that we would have to come back up and wait? We received our drinks in styrofoam cups and one plastic solo cup for her beer. The customer service was so bad that we left our teas or beer on the table. If you are looking for sweet tea - this is not the place to go to get it. Seriously water down unsweetened tea is what we were served. I give this place a big zero!!!!!! No idea why this place is open until 2 am. *FALSE ADVERTISEMENT *I walked in on a Friday night about 12:50 am. A lady comes to the door and yells to bartender "Are we done for tonight?" I assume the answer was YES because she then tells me the kitchen is closed but I can order drinks. I usually come here at least once a week but I won't be returning due to this issue. This is one of our favorite places to eat. We love the selection of draft beers. If you go try the wild west wings they are off the chain. The nachos are huge and so far we have not had a bad menu item. Weekends they have a variety of different bands that play that add to the experience. A definate must. read more

Pretty solid wing place. Large restaurant and bar with a lot of televisions, all showing sports. Large beer selection including some local to Georgia. There are so many different flavors to put on the wings (or just about any other meal you order). More than most wing places. I have probably tried half of the sauces and here are my favorites: - Red Dragon, which is a mix of spicy and teriyaki - China Syndrome, which is very peppery and very spicy - Flaming Parmesan, which has no spice at all, but is delicious They have a pick up area separate of the restaurant/bar, which is incredibly convenient, but be prepared to wait a bit longer if you have to pick up at the bar. The bartenders (understandably so) have a million other things going on and keeping a close eye on the status of your wings is just another item on their to-do list. read more

Came here tonight with the family. Wife, self, and three daughters. Although the food was good and the waiter was decent the service was subpar. So my two younger daughter got their meals as well as my wife and I. My oldest daughter had to wait until we all were almost finished eating before she got her food. Have tried this place multiple times since it's opening a few years ago and have never been impressed with the food. It seems every time i order a chicken wrap or sandwich mild they make it as hot as possible-I could barely eat the last one I ordered. Burger was average. Wings are decent. Service is hit or miss. The courtesy of the staff was mediocre. I was asking the staff about my order and she just walks off, answering my question from a distance. My actual waiter wasn't so great himself. I visited Wild Wings in Macon, Georgia October 31, 2011 with my family and I wasn't very happy with the service. First the waitress wasn't prompt, my food came out after my family had eaten their food; because the waitress forgot to put my meal in. Finally, after getting my food I wasn't good at all, macaroni and cheese was dry, corn on cob was mushy and my chicken had no sauce as I had asked when I first order therefore; I had some more.....by this time I wasn't hungry and asked for a to go box....only taking the chicken. I have a problem with hair in my food and the waitress hair was very long and it was flipping every time she talked or walked by our table. I believe in tipping waitress because that's what they work for and being the good person I am I tipped her $5.00 which she didn't deserve because it seems like she was always in a rush when she came to our table and that's why she screwed up my order therefore; not serving the entire table not well at all.
