    Wildberry "Signature Berry Bliss" Pancakes

Absolutely loved going to wildberry for their wildberyy pancakes. Truly a delicious fluffy pancake with all the right berry flavors. 10/10 recommend the wildberry pancake for a fruity flavorful breakfast bite Also got the turkey pepper jack panini and it was decent I wasn't blown away by the flavors here so it's nothing too special but still decent bite. Wildberry Orange Juice was fresh squeezed orange juice with fresh berries puréed in it. Definitely recommend this drink for a refreshing and flavorful treat! The service was really nice and helpful when it came to me deciding what to get and what the recommendations are. My recommendations in order are 1st Wildberry pancake 2nd Wildberry Orange Juice 3rd Iced Pistachio Cold Foam Latte! Delicious flavor profile you won't regret giving this a try!! 4th Turkey pepper jack panini

We decided to stop by this breakfast spot before heading to the festival across the street. Parking was limited, so we ended up walking to the restaurant. There was about a 30-minute wait, and with the warm weather, it felt a bit long. Fortunately, there was a designated waiting area with seating, and the restaurant also offers both indoor and outdoor dining. The service was excellent--our server was so friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. My favorite part of the meal was definitely the pancakes. I ordered the Oreo S'mores pancakes as my side with the two-egg breakfast, and they were absolutely delicious. My partner chose the French toast in one of their most popular flavors, and it was just as enjoyable. I also ordered the salted caramel latte, which was good, although it wasn't particularly memorable. Overall, we had a great experience. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful, and despite the wait, I would definitely come back the next time I'm in the area.

Luckily came on Tuesday morning and no line...lines looked rough on the weekends. Two of us ordered: breakfast burrito $21 caramel macchiato with oat milk $7 latte $6 orange juice $6 signature berry bliss $20 3.5% service fee? Breakfast burrito was on spicier side and was ok. Overall, wasn't too impressed with service and food. Though large portions, nothing stood out too much for us. A lot of seating inside.

This place is worth the wait. The line is long, but it goes by quick because they're pretty efficient. We walked over to the bean while we waited. We had a flight to catch but had to stop in before we left. Service is pretty quick. We got our food in 25 mins. All the food was so good! I loved my strawberry with white and milk chocolate chip pancakes. Who doesn't love fluffy buttermilk pancakes with endless toppings?! :) You can customize an omelette. I did that with some sweet potato fries. The fries were really good and had a nice crunch with a good balance of soft sweet potato. I also like sweet coffee so the turtle mocha was perfect! I could have one of those everyday lol Definitely coming back for the coffee and pancakes

When we arrived at Wildberry Pancakes & Cafe, I was surprised to see a long line of people waiting outside. We were told the wait would be about 20 minutes, and I'm so glad we decided to stay. The food was exceptional and completely lived up to the hype. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well worth the wait. We also loved the patio seating--it was the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast. Don't let the line or wait time discourage you. This place is absolutely worth it, and I'd happily wait again for another meal!

Legit tired of hotel breakfast so we ventured out on the last full day of our trip. This was a great choice. We decided to get up and go when the doors open. I'm so glad we did as there was a line outside the door we walked up. It's a pretty nice sized location so everyone was seated quickly. Our server was very nice. The food came out FAST!! Latte: I was just ok to me. I took a few sips but couldn't finish it. I'm a coffee snob so I won't hold it against them. Mexicana Skillet: DELICIOUS! I almost had a happy plate and I never eat all of my food. The egg was cooked to perfection and the chicken sausage was a nice substitute for the chorizo. The salsa was also very flavorful. Pancakes: They were pretty good. Not as hot as I like my food to be but they were fluffy. I would come here again when in Chicago.

Welcome to your Chicago trendy brunch place. We went early and managed to skip a long line, but I would have been mad if I had the typical wait line for mid food. I tried the biscuits and gravy and substitutef a side of wild berry pancakes. I'm from the south and wasn't happy about the gravy because it was loaded with rosemary. It didn't have the traditional flavor. The pancakes were nothing to write home about, which is a bit sad because they are the name of the restaurant. They should be the #1 tasting menu item.

This was great food, big portions, and indoor and outdoor seating with shade, perfect for a Chicago summer day. I brought a friend here from out of town and we both enjoyed our food. I ordered the barbacoa chilaquiles skillet, and it was a perfect blend of salt, heat, and fat. I dream about this dish. My friend ordered the two eggs any style and said it was great too. The only disappointment was that they wrote my friend's name down wrong when we checked in on the wait list, so we ended up waiting about 20 minutes longer than we should have. Once we asked if they'd called her name, they said they didn't have anyone by that name, but she remembered us checking in, so they gave us the next available table. Still, a good spot!

Wildberry absolutely lives up to the hype. I ordered the Signature Berry Bliss Pancakes, and they were easily some of the best pancakes I've had--super fluffy, light, and packed with flavor with the sauce. The berry topping was fresh and not overly sweet, and the portion size was generous. Everything just felt really well-balanced. Service was great from start to finish. Attentive without being overbearing, and the food came out pretty quickly even though it was busy. The atmosphere is also a big plus: lively, clean, and a perfect brunch spot whether you're with friends or just grabbing a solid meal. They have a good variety of dishes. If you're debating what to get, the pancakes are definitely the move. Would 100% come back, solid breakfast and lunch/brunch spot.

I heard this was the breakfast spot to go to in Chicago so my gf and I went to check it out. Food was good, but a bit too long of a wait for breakfast that wasn't anything spectacular. Wait was almost 45 min !!! Food 4/5 I got the butcher scramble and blueberry pancakes. Both were good and I have no complaints. It just wasn't anything special to wait 45 minutes for. I feel I could have gone to most diners and enjoyed just as much. Service 3/5 45 minute wait for breakfast is just crazy to me lol once inside the waitress was nice. Again nothing too special. Ambiance 2/5 This is the main reason I'm going from 4 stars to 3. Food deserves 4 stars. But ambiance is nothing special and overly packed. I was literally sitting right next to strangers. They put an extra seat for someone less than a foot in between us and the guys back side was literally right next to me. So absolutely no privacy or personal space. Felt like a cafeteria with how crowded it was. Good food. Not worth the wait. I wouldn't return.

Waffles with fried chicken, bacon and jalapeño. Crazy good if you like hot peppers. The bacon is the best I've ever had.

A premier breakfast spot for sure! Everything is fantastic! We can't back for both days we stayed in Chicago. The quality is A++ I didn't take a lot of pictures, but trust me, everything is great!

We called an audible and opted to try this spot for breakfast. It was a great choice. Promptly seated no wait, great service, and the food was delicious! A definite must do and must do again! Olivia was our server. She was great!

Holy crap! This place is popular for a reason. We did not make a reservation, and there were at least thirty parties waited to be seated, but it is a well oiled machine! They had our party seated effectively, and the food here is absolutely fantastic! Yes, I did not get pancakes at the Wildberry Pancakes, but this is genuinely the best avocado toast I have ever had! Highly recommend!

The Original Pancake House has a menu to rival IHOP when it comes to pancake and crepe selection. So much to choose from! When we arrived around 8:15am, there were plenty of tables inside and outside on their tree covered patio, and the staff let us know we could sit anywhere we liked. We chose a table inside but the outside area is beautiful if you want to enjoy the Chicago summer. Our server arrived quickly and was very friendly. The kitchen was so fast it felt like she took our order, walked back to the kitchen, and returned with our meals. Their standard egg breakfasts come with a stack of pancakes - you can pay a little more to upgrade to one of the fun flavors, so we chose blueberry. The portions were so massive I ended up ordering two side dishes for my breakfast, and I still couldn't finish it all. The blueberry pancakes were filled with fresh blueberries and SO good, the egg scramble with feta was delicious, and the home fries were pretty good. Our server asked if I wanted them crispy. I said no, but I should have said yes. They were a little soft - still delicious - but you can tell they'd be even better with a bit of a crispy edge. The prices may seem a little high, but when you see how much food you get for the price, you'll realize what a deal it is. Each meal could easily feed two people! We were in and out in under an hour and everyone who worked here was lovely. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu on our next visit!

I would assume a place where the newest thing since the 1980s is the security camera would have vinyl with more cracks and patina than my trusty old leather jacket! But no, it's in fantastic shape. Especially given that, the vibe in here is awesome! It's like stepping through a time-portal. For food, I ordered an old favorite: Pigs in Blankets. The food came out fast, though, to be fair, there was only one other person dining in at the time. The sausage links were crisp, and the pancakes were lightly sweet and fluffy. All in all, great! While perhaps not enough to summon the Michelin Guide inspectors, it was better than the average greasy spoon. Finally, I really appreciate that the prices are reasonable, and that there is parking! Final verdict: I've had a small handful of spectacular breakfasts. I've also had criminal breakfasts, where two unsalted eggs, two bacon strips, and a tablespoon of potatoes costs $14.95. Golden House Restaurant & Pancake House finds itself in that sweet spot in between - it is neither a spectacular spot (often have prices to boot), nor is it an overpriced, underwhelming greasy spoon that stays in business thanks to regulars who have been coming for decades and don't want anything better.

The food and service are always wonderful here!…read more This review is not about the restaurant. This is actually for the reservation system through the Yelp Guest Management system. I called the number provided here on the Yelp webpage for this restaurant. I had a phone conversation with what I now believe was an AI representative that told me that I had a reservation for a party of 6 for this coming Sunday. I felt like the phone call was a bit off, because AI can definitely give an uncanny valley feeling. Also, I knew from past experience with this restaurant that they didn't use to take reservations. I went to the restaurant's website to check it out and lo-and-behold the number is different! I called the restaurant's real number and asked about the reservation. The employee was very polite and kind and explained that they don't make reservations (first come, first serve). Thank you again to that kind employee, because that had to be a confusing call. Sorry about wasting your staffs' time with this by the way, Batter & Berries! I cannot imagine if I had brought my party of 6 to a very busy brunch spot expecting to get in right away because I thought I had booked a reservation, so I alerted the business on the call, and then I went to alert Yelp. Surely this is just a small mistake, and Yelp can get this broken AI reservation system taken down for this particular restaurant so this doesn't happen to anyone else. Surely this is not a big deal! Lol. Of course it was. I spent half-an-hour looking for ways that I could inform Yelp via customer chat, email, or even call. Nope! Yelp is now offering services to supposedly book tables for potential diners, but they still only have customer service for the businesses. I tried the one customer service number that Yelp does have (877-767-9357). I tried repeatedly to go through its AI menu. However, whenever I would answer that I was a customer and not a business, it would end the call. When I stated that I was a business just so that I could be directed to a human being, I was told by a very helpful representative that Yelp doesn't have human representatives that help non-advertising costumers or businesses. TL;DR Do not use the reservation feature on Yelp's website. They do not care if it is accurate, and there is no way to even inform Yelp of their mistake. And definitely no customer service or support for you as the person that used their broken system to make a fake reservation. But Batter & Berries itself? AWESOME!!! That 5 stars is for them. Negative 5,000 stars to Yelp for using a broken AI reservation system and having no support for when it inevitably creates problems for diners and the restaurants they want to enjoy. Edited to add: I just got done trying to fill out a correction on the phone number that Yelp has listed on this webpage for Batter & Berries as it is not correct. When I went to fill out the correction form Yelp auto-fills the information they have currently for the business listing. Would you all believe that they had the correct number for the business in the form already? So they know the correct number, but are putting their AI reservation number up instead. Why would they do that? I do not know, but I'd guess it's not for any selfless reasons. This will be the last time I use Yelp for anything, and I am looking into ways to report them for fraudulent advertisement at this point. I know it's probably silly, but changing the number to your broken AI system when you know the business' real number is a bit too much. The actual restaurant number at this location is (773) 248-7710 if anyone needs to get in touch with the real restaurant.

They didn't pay me (Also... oddly, my start date was put as a date well over a week before I started in the system, too). And, my hours WITH pay don't show online for almost 1 month after being there. Maybe they were pissed because I left after 2 full weekend days. But, when you have 2 part foreign speaking guys(with all those short ABBREVIATED-broken word sentences AND hesitating doing the training - it doesn't work too well. You have to ask 3 questions sometimes to get a simple answer on something being learned. Sometimes they made it sound more complex or acted like they don't feel like speaking, or you have to help them along with it all. don't know if the 2 Spanish speaking men just hoped I'd quit to have someone else there (maybe male or Spanish) in my place in time or what; and so they did what had to and sometimes changed what they told me after an hour or even 4 hours. That made me really upset (but didn't say much then). One woman in charge just said they "Get things done" like that's all that matters when it's unfair to have them train. Then, they have a crabby cook that glared at me from the time he first saw me. People aren't going to "make it" and EVENTUALLY die out if foreigner -TYPES (here long or not) push us out with little tricks like..."Oh we'll make this all-american one look like she isn't catching on. Couldn't tell you how many times I tried moving faster, when we were all asked to at times, and one of those dishwashers (or even others) would poke around like daydreaming BEHIND me. I could barely turn. (People have their ways to get someone to leave if want to and it has rarely been supervisors or management that do this, that I know of.) It's also rude to speak a foreign language anyway, around other workers most of the time. Some take it like it's avoiding certain workers and an excuse to not talk to them, or something similar to whispering (not knowing most of the time what's being said). Furthermore, If a worker gets sick to their stomach with a 104 fever after eating a meal they cooked for the employees and try calling in...doesn't work. I think they KEEP the voicemail filled. Or, possibly, it's because of guests leaving voicemails at the same number. They should have a separate voicemail for employees, if so. A few mentioned they don't like to give out cell numbers for that because they worry some if people won't show for work (depending on who). But eventually that could certainly happen. Remember people...say no to migrants unless they want to be in America's CULTURE, like not trying to take over things(even subtley). And, I'd personally say no to unfair workplaces that might use friendliness as a cover with some, and then not pay, also.
