So the wait wasn't that bad I joined the line via Yelp. It was busy, but that's what I anticipated on a Saturday morning. My three star review is for my experience so I ordered the two egg any style with scrambled egg whites and it came out as scrambled eggs and then when I sent the plate back, the scrambled egg whites came on a plate that was dirty. So it took me three plates to get it correct on the plate shown in the picture was the clean plate. Overall, the food was good. The bacon was a little too crispy for my liking but if you like crispy bacon, then it wasn't a problem. The pancakes were flavorful, but got mushy as the syrup settled in. I think I would go back, but I would probably go during a non-busy time. I think the food was overall good. It just put a bad taste in my mouth when my food was served on a dirty plate. It was eventually served on a clean plate and I did enjoy the rest of my meal.
Tuscan Panini, 3.5/5: It's a healthy option -- the chicken was generous and I got pretty full. I really liked the sauce but there was barely any!! Los Altos Benedict, 3.5/5: nothing special but good. I've had bad and good Benedicts, this falls right in the middle. The hash is really good and crispy tho! It was very busy in there on Friday brunch. Make sure to reserve. It's pretty loud in there.
Good location - found street parking about two blocks away. We visited on a summer Friday and the wait time without a reservation was about 45 minutes. We went to a nearby Starbucks in the Aon building for the wait out of the sun. We were seated inside, but I wish we had been able to sit on the patio that looked beautiful and shaded. We were offered outside but the wait would have been longer. Our server was nice, though after we received our food we didn't see him for awhile and had to flag someone else down for extra syrup. Also, I didn't appreciate that he didn't tell us there would be an upcharge for the strawberries he asked my son if he wanted on his pancakes. He apologized for this and said he normally notifies patrons of upcharges. I had the slow roast brisket hash with the gravy on the side. It was very tasty and was a hearty serving size, enough to share. I had the Blueberry Danish pancakes on the side. They were just OK. I wish I had gotten the buttermilk pancakes instead, which is what my son ordered with turkey bacon. He was happy with his meal. Overall, a nice place for breakfast downtown Chicago. I would try to find a reservation before going, though.

We got strawberry lemonade- 5 out of 5. Salty caramel latte- Cinnamon Honey latte- 3 out of 5. Butcher block skillet 4 out of 5 Denver skillet 5 out of 5 for substituted Oreo pancakes 4 out of 5 for skillet with hash browns. Garden skillet 5 out of 5 for substituted strawberry pancakes 3 out of 5 for skillet with hashbrowns. French toast signature berry 4 out of 5. Bacon add on 3 out of 5. Cinnamon toast churro 3 out of 5 for hash browns 5 out of 5 churros 20 per person for most meals. Good portions. Summary. Good food, especially the sweet stuff. Hash browns could be cooked a little harder. But that's personal preference. Waitress was good her name was Penny. She checked on us frequently.
Had some take out from here to our hotel was so impressed by the skillets and pancakes. Need to make another trip soon to try more amazing menu options!
This was one of my stops while vacationing in Chicago because of all the hype I saw on TikTok and let me tell you that it's definitely worth the hype!! The signature berry bliss pancakes were seriously one of the best pancakes I have ever eaten. It looks like it could be too sweet but they balance it perfectly! The berry mascarpone filling is chefs kiss. My mom got the fried chicken and biscuits and omg I still dream about those too. The fried chicken was perfectly cooked and so tender and flavorful! On my next trip to Chicago this is a must stop!! I will say it can get packed very quickly but on the day in April we went it was pretty cold and people didn't want to sit outside so we were seated pretty quickly. They didn't have a heated patio which helped and I wasn't overly cold.
Amazing pancakes ! The wildberry pancake signature dish was fabulous. Service was timely and courteous. The tables are stacked too close to each other, bare 6-inch gap. Sitting so close was really annoying.
One thing about me.. I love a brunch and Wildberry delivered! My favorite thing about this place had to be that we could sign up via Yelp waitlist. Big fan! Once we checked in, we had to wait about 5 minutes for a table. Once seated, our waiter came over relatively quickly but I will say it was a packed Sunday morning for brunch and these waiters were RUNNING all over the place. I got the cinnamon honey latte and to be honest guys... get your coffee elsewhere. It was a very okay latte that I could tell they used a lot of sweetner to compensate. Food however? Delish. I got the plate which came with eggs, hashbrowns and I upgraded to chicken sausage. I also upgraded my pancakes to the specialty pancake and got the oreo smore and omg sugar galore. We also tried the cinnamon roll and berry pancakes and BY FAR the favorite was the cinnamon roll. Food here is great if you are willing to be patient for a table and its a cute spot!

My go-to is the Rutherford omelette with egg whites, hash browns extra crispy, and upgrade to the cinnamon roll pancakes. My husband likes the chicken and waffle and biscuits and gravy. On this trip, my mom got the French toast though it was pretty dry and lacked flavor. But everything else was good!
Wow! This place is amazing! I consider myself to be an Eggs Benedict snob because it's one of my all time favorite breakfast dishes, and this place had of the best Ive ever had! The eggs were perfectly poached, the ham was tender and flavorful, and the hollandaise sauce was terrific! The service was outstanding too! I hope to go back before I leave for Arizona on Monday!

Wildberry is always a solid choice with the variety of their menu and quality of the food. But pricier due to the location. Service was quick for a lunch rush. We ordered - Denver skillet: my go to. You can decide how you want your eggs cooked - creamy Nutella crepes with strawberries: crepes were evenly cooked and drizzled with Nutella. Strawberries were fresh. Note: fruit is additional $3 - bacon & avocado toast: this was ok. For the price, I was expecting a bigger portion and more flavor - iced pistachio cold foam latte: good quantity for the price. This was quite sweet but the cold foam balanced it out - pancakes are fluffy One individual bathroom on the first floor. More bathrooms on the second floor.

Had a very good experience from beginning til end. Checked in at the host stand and waited about 20-30 mins it seemed busier but wasn't too bad. Got seated and greeted by server really quickly. We were always checked up on and busser cleaned our table quickly. For food I ordered the barbacoa chilaquiles with a side of the berry pancake. If was so filling. The chilaquiles was perfect the tortilla chips were crispy and it wasn't soggy at all. Pancake was super good but I was so full I couldn't finish it. I've been here once a few years ago and this place has kept up its reputation. I will be back again my next Chicago trip read more
I arrived here at 10:10am on a Wednesday with my two sons. I joined the waitlist on Yelp when I left my hotel about 10 minutes prior. We were sat less than a minute after I checked in. (I highly recommend doing this or making a reservation because when we left, there was LONG line at the entrance). This place was Busy! Someone brought waters right after we were seated. A few minutes, our waitress. At 10:31am, we ordered. I got the butcher block with signature berry bliss pancakes. One son got the kids Oreo smores pancakes with side of sausage. The other kid got the turkey pepper jack panini with fries. The food came at 10:55am. My pancakes arrived a few minutes later. My sons enjoyed their food. I stated my son's Oreo pancakes and i enjoyed it. My other son's fries reminded me of fries from checkers/rally's. When I tasted my pancakes, I was in complete awe!! They were soft, moist, and flavorful! I let my sons taste mine and they agree. It was definitely one of the best pancakes I've had! The skillet was alrighty; the pancakes were the highlight for sure! Wow! Perfect brunch place while visiting Chicago! Country chic deco, lots of space indoors and outdoors, service was polite, quick, and attentive enough not to be overbearing. The food was fresh and so tasty! I wish we had these at home! read more
Food 8/10. Love that they have so many gluten free options!! Gluten free up-charge of $5 is ridiculous though, especially with the gf pancakes being grainy. They weee fluffy though! The skillet was really yummy! Environment 6/10 for brunch on a Saturday. Veryyyy overwhelming in there. If you are someone who gets anxious in crowded places do NOT go here. Too many tables too close together, not enough walking space between tables. From our walk from the host stand to our table we witnessed 4 different collisions by servers running into each other because there was no space to walk. Customers running into servers and customers running into other customers. Very claustrophobic and stuffy feeling inside. Service 8/10. Great service until it was time to pay. Our server brought us out to-go boxes and we asked for the check and he didn't come back for 15 minutes and was no where to be seen lol I personally would not go back there due to the atmosphere alone. read more
Busy breakfast spot. Great service from the moment to we stepped in. Everyone was really nice. The food was good, but dare I say the pancakes were too sweet for me.... I added syrup before tasting, as a usually do, but it wasn't needed in my opinion. I tried both the traditional and cinnamon roll pancakes. I also didn't get my bacon crispy even thought I requested such. In the end this place is good and I wouldn't discourage anyone from trying out this spot. Another great breakfast at Wildberry. Weather was a little inclement today so there was no wait on a Saturday around 8:30 AM. I was warmly greeted by the front desk team and I think a manager and escorted to my table. I normally don't like to sit in the back room just because I end up leaving smelling like the restaurant, but it was fine. My server with short brown hair was super friendly and nice. I ordered the same thing every single time - Rutherford omelette with hashbrowns and pancakes. I am convinced that Wildberry has the best hashbrowns in the city. Portions are very generous. I think the prices are reasonable too, especially for the location, etc. You can easily share an omelette or another entrée. Can be a little touristy at times specially during the summer. Service was great-- we had Victoria who made sure to check in on us no matter how busy the restaurant became. She never once let us feel rushed and just had an overall calm and friendly vibe. Tables are a bit tight near the 2nd floor. The portions--they are just like the menu, a lot. The wildberry pancake was delicious and wasn't super sweet. I saw this place had amazing reviews and they did not disappoint. The staff is so friendly, there is inside seating and outside seating. I sat inside and really enjoyed the atmosphere, especially in the morning it felt super cozy. I ordered the avocado toast, and it was sooooo delicious. The bread was really good, the eggs tasted savory and it was also paired with some fruit on the side which is perfect for the morning. They have a lot of other options as well. I also ordered an omelet, side of pancakes, I'd recommend everyone to try this place if you are visiting Chicago it is definitely a cute place to eat. read more

The churro French toast strips are sweet and delicious. It's moist like bread pudding. The side of sausage patty is three large pieces and nicely browned. Thumbs up. Giovanny is an excellent server. My wife likes the traditional eggs Benedict. read more
Joined the waitlist prior to arriving so we got seated right away! This place gets really busy, so highly recommend doing the same. We ordered the Breakfast Panini, Mexicana Skillet, Buttermilk Pancakes with fresh berries. Overall food was good but very heavy. I think the skillet was flavorful but had a little too much cheese and onions for our liking. Panini was good but nothing special. Their buttermilk pancakes were my favorite! Portions here are pretty big so keep that in mind! read more

Good was amazing and portion is very generous! The wait was quite long but luckily i found out we can waitlist on Yelp to avoid the crazy wait. Well worth the walk and service was perfect as well. Will come back if I am in Chicago. read more

Wildberry is pretty legit as far as breakfast places go. I always make a point to eat here at least once when I visit the downtown. The wait times can be very long so plan accordingly. I think our last visit our wait was 90 minutes plus. We added our names to the list and went and walked around the shopping areas nearby. One person in our party ordered the crispy chicken and bacon. It was delicious and had some kick. The jalapeños are cooked into the waffle so don't order it if you don't like jalapeños. Another ordered the fried chicken and biscuits and said it was the most flavorful chicken they had ever eaten. I ordered the signature berry bliss crepes and they were really good. Overall our party of 6 spent about $285 for breakfast but everybody was happy. read more

My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - On my cold Saturday visit, it was very cold and packed. Inside the restaurant has two levels. I sat on the second level which allowed me to look over to the crowded dining area. Crowds = good. 1 Star. Service - I recommend you make a reservation or check the wait times online. Upon entering, you'll check in, and once your party arrives, they will seat you. Our server was nice and knowledgeable. After placing our drink order, he took time to answer questions about the menu and explain the specials. Nice and helpful. 1 Star. Food - I ordered the seasonal pumpkin bread French toast. The French toast was topped with a sweet cream butter and fruit, but I had to request syrup. The toast was soft, had a friendly pumpkin spiced flavor, and was enjoyable. However, without the syrup, it was a tad dry. And then when I used syrup, it masked the pumpkin flavor. Instead, I used my excellent latte to help wash it down. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. This was a specialty sweet item, but also on the menu was a Chicago Benedict where the bacon is replaced with Italian beef. Not sure if this is a great combination, but it sounds good enough for me to return. 1 Star. read more

It's my first time coming to a Wildberry. We chose this location because you can make reservations instead of standing in line at the other location. But I did enjoy having so many options; I ordered a regular breakfast. I tried the mocha coffee with protein but didn't like the taste. My friend had specialty pancakes and she absolutely loved them. They hey will customize your order in anyway. I do want to point out the service is excellent and everyone was very kind. The location itself is very beautiful and open. It is multiple levels; we were on the ground floor. read more

Amazing pancakes and service. It's always a must when we are in Chicago. We've been here several times and have tried several of their breakfast items. Everything is very good. This time we stuck to our favorites, their signature Berry Bliss pancake and their wild berry Greek yogurt with a side of hash brown. I'm usually not a fan of Greek yogurt but this didn't have that sour taste. Just tasted like regular vanilla yogurt but lighter. Eating everything just all went well together. We also got the toffee honey latte. Very sweet but delicious! We went late Saturday morning but only had to wait about 15 min. You just scan the QR code near the door to be placed on the wait list. Love the openness of the restaurant, I actually prefer this location than the other one. Service was great! We had an excellent server named Katrina. She came to check on us several times and was so super friendly. Will be sure to come back again. read more

How do I get on waitlist?
I also cannot find a way to be added to the Wildberry waitlist even though the restaurant website advertises a Yelp waitlist. My guess is that the restaurant hasn't set up the Yelp waitlist capability, but perhaps thinks they did.
Do they have mimosas or any other alcoholic drinks?
Nope thats the part that they are missing. The just have regular juice and coffee. Food still bout fye as hell tho!
Can you have small dogs on the outside patio?
Probably but ask the hostess to verify

Yes. Possibly only one kind but they do. They have other GF options as well.

When I called, there was only one vegan option which was a hash with vegetables. It is misleading that yelp files this under vegan.

No, not on-site. You have to park on the street or at a parking garage.
Are they open today (Christmas)?
Yes-they are open on Christmas-I went there with my family on Christmas Day!
