To begin, we were pleasantly surprised that our table for 10 was ready as soon as we arrived, expecting to wait a bit for such a large party. Once we were seated, our server Oliver immediately came over to explain the tapas menu and get our drink orders. Tapas are priced $7-$20 à la carte, or you can order different tasting menu tiers based on what your group is hungry for. We ordered the $35 tasting menu (tapas only) and it was more than enough food! We tried the whipped sheep cheese, flank steak, garlic mushrooms, shrimp, patatas bravas, salmon, and more! We also ordered a pitcher of red sangria for the table that was delicious. The incredible food and the attentive service made Barcelona the perfect meal for a group of old friends to catch up. After visiting Barcelona, your wallet might not be happy, but your heart sure will!

What really made the evening special, though, was the outstanding service. Our waiter was incredibly welcoming and attentive, and when he learned we were celebrating two birthdays, he surprised us with some sangria to help us celebrate. That small gesture made an already wonderful meal feel even more memorable. Between the delicious food, warm hospitality, and celebratory atmosphere, this was easily one of our favorite experiences in Nashville. We will absolutely be back anytime we're in town!

Sooo hot, anyway) Sixty vines has an amazing vibe you can feel as you walk up the stairs. We were greeted by two hostesses and given a table right away. Our waitress, Julianna, was amazing. Very kind, engaging and knowledgeable. I am very much the person, that when I trust the waitperson, I ask them to bring me what they think is great, don't tell me what it is, dealers choice, surprise me. Julianna brought us a fig and prosciutto pizza, followed by a braised pork shoulder pasta dish and a tequila drink (can't remember the name, my wife had an espresso martini) It was so good. We finished with a wine flight, also picked out by julienne. I am sure the entire staff is amazing, but I would highly recommend Julienne and allow her to do her thing!!! 5 stars, two thumbs up, and an A+

The drinks are always great, especially the frozen espresso and the espresso martinis. The salted foam on top of the espresso martini is such a good touch, and I love that the drinks aren't overly sweet. The food has been great too. All of the pizzas are delicious, and the French fry potato stacks with the amazing sauce are a must try. Unfortunately, they were sold out the last time we came, so I'll definitely be back for those. The salads were good, but I do think the portions are a little small for the price. The service is always great, and it's a perfect spot for larger groups. I've been with groups of five or six people both times and it's worked out really well. I would definitely recommend Sixty Vines as a great place to stop for dinner before going out on Broadway.

We went on a Sunday and every table was packed, so definitely make a reservation. Our waitress Addison was amazing and gave us recommendations that absolutely did not disappoint. I originally wanted prosecco but they were out, so she recommended a cava instead and it was excellent. I ordered the chicken piccata and it was flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and had a slightly crispy skin on the chicken that made it even better. Everyone at our table was genuinely happy with their meals, which says a lot. We also got the cheesecake for dessert and it was seriously delicious. Honestly one of those meals where every part of the experience just worked. It feels like the kind of mom and pop restaurant people hope to find. Warm, lively, and focused on giving people a great experience. Will definitely be back.

Rosie Food and Wine is discreetly tucked into a strip mall right here in Hendersonville and boy does it ever deliver creative, delicious food! We weren't able to get reservations in time so we opted to sit at the bar and it was a wonderful time. The bartender was super nice, chill and yet attentive. My wife got the scallops with a side of Brussels sprouts and loved it, not a huge serving but cooked to perfection. (She was perfectly happy with the portion but I would have been whining). I got the quail, my goodness it was amazing! It was a generous portion and I ate every bite. I seriously haven't had anything that good in a coon's age. (On average a coon lives 2-3 years in the wild). Rosie Food & Wine was a great experience and I highly recommend it! We'll be back, no doubt.

I ordered the lasagna (definitely on the cheesy side, but still tasty!), and while I can't remember what my husband ordered, we both enjoyed our meals overall. The space itself is really cute and has a warm atmosphere--just note that it can get a little chilly when the weather's cold, so maybe keep a jacket handy. Perfect for a casual date night or a family dinner. I'd happily come back again!

Our waitress was incredibly friendly and had some great drink recommendations. I went with their take on a gimlet with lavender and it was very well balanced. My sister got some sort of old fashioned and enjoyed it as well! We started with the fried ravioli (good, but nothing incredible) and bread service (meh). I was nervous at this point but I shouldn't have been! Our salads came next and they were incredibly fresh and flavorful, as well as a large portion! I got their cavatappi in cream sauce and my sister went with the pork. Both dishes were fresh, hot, well-balanced and large! I LOVE that they use chicken thigh for their protein add-on - super flavorful and moist. We were stuffed, so no dessert this time, but I will definitely be back next time I'm in town!

Everything was organized and ready for our group. There were eight wines, each was well paired with an item, primarily cheese, but also nuts or chocolate. While we did not like all of the wines, the overall experience was great, which was down to the staff. Caitlyn (not sure if the spelling is correct) was phenomenal, we really enjoyed her hosting us, as well as the couple other staff that popped in. Worth checking out, especially if you have a group and can make a reservation. We were most excited for this winery when planning out the day as they said over the phone that morning they had 6 or 7 muscadine wines. When we arrived they only had 2 true muscadine wines and the others simply contained muscadine grapes but not necessarily true muscadines. Their wines are sweet and fruity but nothing too special or unique. Our overall experience in the tasting room was decent but nothing that we typically expect while enjoying a tasting. Our sommelier didn't seem too terribly excited to be there and it was a very bland/basic interaction.

The curse of Rumours continues!…read more I don't know that any business can survive this address. My first BW review of the year and it seems to have come as a surprise. Whispers abound as to whether the issue at VG was a rent hike or whether the owner just lost interest. In any event, it's the same sad story at the corner of 12th and Woodland. And that's too bad because VG acquitted itself nicely. On a Friday in mid-spring it was the exact right place I wanted to be to catch up with a friend. That backyard has been the stuff of legends for every iteration for a reason. If you've been here for a while, you know the score: walk in the front, smile, be greeted, ask for a table outside. That's just what we did. But before that we got drinks. Being a wine bar and being happy hour and being a Friday we went all in on the house red sangria. Served in a pleasantly large goblet, this goodie jar of wine and fruit did the job of quenching thirst and spurring conversation. To add to the libations, we settled on a series of bites: whipped feta (with sourdough -- and every bit of decadent as described in other reviews), olive tapenade (a briny, mound of oil, citrus and herbs) and (skinny) fries with parmesan & white truffle oil. Right?? What a perfect way to end the work week and begin the weekend. We had wonderful service from Abby and stayed on premises well into sundown. There was a steady crowd throughout our visit so I don't think a lack of business was the COD. Whatever the reason, it sort of boggles the mind that a wine bar concept can't stick around in a neighborhood and location that seems to crave it. That curse might be real.
