We had a semi-dry, sweet wine tasting! Our assessments: 1. Maple - our favorite! I personally couldn't taste the maple as much but undeniably sweet, but not very that it's overwhelming 2. Brianna - smooth, not too rich, a close runner up to the Maple 3. Highlands Blush - taste like strawberry! Delicious! 4. Arctic Fox - cool and smooth. Wasn't a favorite among the group, but personally I wanted a bottle. 5. Riesling - still delicious, but no surprises here - expected 6. Aromella - very fruity! Looked like a family was running this place. The older lady who served us was so friendly and explained how they make their own maple syrup too! We bought a bunch and can't wait to try.

We really liked the 2023 Louise and 2022 Marquette. In fact, the Marquette was the best of the bunch from my point of view. The ciders were both really sweet, but the Eden Angeljus was pretty good and reminiscent of Mead. The Riesling was also a favorite. We got a cheeseboard for two, and that was freaking delicious. It came with a maple cranberry preserve that was out of this world. But the cheese, and even the crackers, were exceptionally good, too. Beyond that, the service was exemplary. Ruby in particular was a joy to talk to and quite good at her job. Finally, the live music they had playing was surprisingly good. I did not expect that kind of quality on a random Saturday in May. Our server told us she likes to mix it with muddled blueberries and ginger beer for a refreshing summertime mule, and I agree that does sound delicious. Our third taste was the Bourbon Maple Cream Liquor, which was so delicious, and we finished the tasting with the Maple Cram Liquor, which was smooth, sweet, and went down very easily. They were so gracious and gave us such a wonderful tasting experience. We learned about the inception of the wine, the production process and how the unique options are conceived. What do I mean by "unique options"? Well in addition to some well balanced but fruit forward standards such as raspberry wine, strawberry wine or apple rhubarb you will also find squash wine, tomato wine (yup, you read that right) and dandelion wine (which I LOVED).
