Went to Wildfire to celebrate my wife's birthday. This is the place where you are quarantined to have a great meal. We had the scallops appetizer. WOW they are delicious. Monday is 10 oz prime rib. It's always tender and delicious! I do wish I could get a bigger slice because it's that good! Wife and daughter had the green beans as a side. Wife just loves them. I had the collard greens for a change. They were good. I'm no greens expert and have only had them about 5 times. Being Irish, cabbage was our go to. Collard greens were never served in our house. Service was excellent, but that's the norm here. I didn't even take pictures because I am so use to everything being perfect here. Our family's go to for a celebration meal. You will never go wrong choosing Wildfire!

Based on two guest dinner experiences here, this is the best restaurant on the square in Georgetown. It's situated just a door down from the Palace Theater, so it's close to both the arts and other nightlife in Georgetown. Curbside parking is easy to come by. Wildfire features a sharp urban contemporary menu with Texas and Southwestern roots. Positive and friendly staff abound. Expect well-paced and complete service you'd expect from an upscale dining experience. Both of my meals were steak-based, both served with their zhuzhed-up mashed potatoes and my personal favorite, the Texas Pecan Green Beans. The 10oz NY Strip Pepper Steaks were both perfectly seasoned and cooked. If there is a nitpick, it's that there was a bit more untrimmed fat on the second steak than I would prefer making the portion size appear more ample--but that's luck of the draw. The desserts--especially the decadently rich Flourless Chocolate Tort--are to die for. It's a bit pricey, and you can easily run up a $25-40 dinner tab per person, excluding drinks, salad, and dessert. But unlike many places at the similar price points, Wildfire delivers on their promise of an exquisite meal. It's definitely THE DESTINATION restaurant on the Georgetown Square.

I was super excited to eat here after hearing about it for so long! My wonderful husband made us reservations and we finally came! Sadly the experience did not live up to the hype for us. The ambiance was cool, it had a modern rustic vibe. The food was the problem. We started with the maple glazed crackling pork belly. It sounded wonderful to us and we even added an extra piece so we did not have to decided who got the last piece. It was not a problem since they were so tough and inedible. Our server did not check on us until after we finished it and we felt too bad to say anything. We moved on and ordered wine and steak. The ribeye was what I was told to order along with the blueberry bread pudding which they do not have right now. I would give this place a 2.5 out of 5 stars. I generously rounded up to 3 however I do not think I will return to have another experience here.

Great place. I will definitely return for another Mexican martini. Came with a large group, to celebrate a birthday. Our server was very attentive. The food was great. They also offer bar counter service.

A friend and I visited Wildfire on a recent Monday for lunch. The restaurant was not at all busy, something I found surprising given its great atmosphere and reasonable lunch menu pricing. Service was very good. There are several dining spaces in the restaurant. We were seated immediately in the room facing the front of the building. Drink orders were quickly taken and delivered, warm rolls followed, and food didn't take long to arrive. The menu is quite large, with plenty of meat, seafood, salads, and vegetarian selections. In some cases, there are 2 prices... which reflect different portion sizes (for example, 2 vs 3 enchiladas). We both had the sweet pepper sour cream chicken enchiladas. Unfortunately, the tortillas and the chicken within were hard and difficult to cut. The sides of refried beans and rice were flavorful, and the dish was beautifully presented. This was my first visit to Wildfire, so I'll give it another try for lunch... but will order something different. There were many delicious-sounding choices.

What an amazing experience. Staff was extremely attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. We loved each recommendation. Pictured: Elk, Ostrich, Filet, Ribeye, and the 'Quadruple Bypass Cheeeesy Burger'. Everything was tasty. This is absolutely one of the BEST cheeseburger that I had!

Overall experience was great! We came to celebrate my birthday and Mother's Day on 5/11. Caring, family friendly ambience. Food was amazing, service was great, drinks were made to perfection. This was our first time here so did not know reservations were recommended but nonetheless we were seated for a table of 6. Definitely will be back again soon!

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner! From the dinner rolls (so pillowy and fresh) they brought out at the beginning to dessert, we very much enjoyed everything we ordered. The southwest Caesar salad was fresh and the dressing was on point. The ribeye my husband got was cooked perfect. This is hit or miss at some restaurants and they got it perfect. The flame kissed chicken breast was good. Too many mushrooms and veggies for my liking, but I still enjoyed it. The garlic bread they serve with it was so flavorful and crunchy. The Black Forest cake was perfection. Rich chocolate with a light cherry sauce! Perfect to share. Would go back again if in town. Service was excellent! Ambiance is cozy. Only feedback would be they need to update/renovate the restrooms.

Went tonite for our weekly date nite; first visit to Georgie's though we've been in Georgetown…read moresince 2003. Saw the name when searching seafood here. The website mentioned reservations but accepting walk-ins also; my wife made a reservation for 8 at 7:40p, and that turned out well, as the couple in front of us hadn't done so & went out front to wait. We had a very attentive waitress, & sat on a raised stage by the window which was cool, but note: tall chairs there maybe not great for short legs. When she poured our water we didn't have to request, she left the carafe, which I supposed was a labor saving idea --until she came back repeatedly and refilled our glasses with it! It aided our date night that the two flat screens had artworks displayed not a basketball game or Chive videos of folks getting injured for 15 seconds of fame. Menu is in the upper middle price range for us but we did an easy work-around to get some upscale food, anyway:: We ordered a bowl of gumbo from the appetizer list, with two spoons; (yeah, been married 41 years)... Arrived perfect temp, not to hot to dig right in. The 6 crab claws broken to expose the meat were a nice touch we've never seen; we try everyone's gumbo: prolly the best we've had recently if ever. Continuing that theme, we shared the 14 oz Japanese style (name recipes me) new horn strip, truly too much for one normal appetite: the already flavorful tender steak was helped even more by a unique brown sauce with capers: and my Dad said a good steak doesn't NEED any help. Well, this steak was so good let's just say "the sauce was gravy." We like Brussels sprouts broiled; so my wife asked when ordering the steak, which comes with creamed sprouts, if they could be broiled: instead our waitress asked the chefs who actually flash fried them with salt and pepper, perfectly, with crunchy outer leaves & al dent inside. My wife ordered a 14.00 glass of Pinot noir; the cool wine glass was a generous size --and filled generously. We like the pretentious wine descriptions from the backs of bottles; bartender let us take a photo of the label but suggested the "vivino" app to get the lowdown on any wine. Finished off sharing the bread pudding with rum soaked yellow raisins, great flavor without excess sweetness, and thanked our waitress Katy.

My husband and I are already interested after one visit in checking out pricing for possibly renting out the space for an event of our own. The bathrooms are gender neutral BUT when you go in there the different stall doors have only one label, guys or gals, on the door which is very confusing to people entering the bathroom or waiting for stalls and thinking maybe the guys labeled stall only has a urinal or something but they're all the same toilet. It has a very classy, purposefully dated look but was extremely cleaned and well maintained. They also have free guest Wi-Fi. The cocktails are a little pricey for the area, but the venue space and the quality of the drinks were well worth the price. They actually have a quite expansive menu of drink options as well. Definitely needs more seating options for the drink window area if they plan on having more open hours days for people to randomly come in and enjoy a specially crafted drink.
