The store was much larger than I thought it would be from the outside. So I'm torn between 3 & 4 stars. While the clothes were cute (what I saw of them), I experienced some the rudest fellow customers here that I've ever seen. Cut off when trying to enter the store....yep, do I look like the doorperson? Try to walk past...nope. Try to get a salesperson's attention to ask a question...nope. I give up.

The staff was really friendly and the thing that jumped out to me most about this shop was the quality of the items for the price. They had some really nice dresses and stylish winter hats that were really reasonable and would be within pretty much anyone's budget. I recently purchased a dress online and had it delivered to the store for pickup. I was not notified when the dress arrived, so by the time I went to pick it up approximately two weeks later, I discovered that the dress had a hole in it. I was extremely disappointed to then be made to feel as though I should somehow be responsible for an item that was damaged before I ever took possession of it. What bothered me even more was the response I received when I called the store manager to address the situation. I was told, "It was a cheap dress anyway." Regardless of the price of an item, that is an incredibly dismissive and unprofessional way to speak to a customer--especially a loyal customer who has supported this boutique many times. The issue is not simply the cost of the dress. It is about customer service, accountability, and how a customer is treated when there is a problem. I expected the store to stand behind the merchandise it sold and handle the situation professionally. Instead, I felt dismissed and disrespected. Unfortunately, this experience has completely changed the way I feel about shopping here. A loyal customer should never be made to feel that their purchase or concern does not matter simply because someone considers the item "cheap."

This is a nice boutique on Metarie Road and I was here right before Christmas so there were sales galore. I would call the style here "casual chic" and a lot of the tops can be easily paired with jeans or leggings. When I was here I picked up a "final sale" sweater that was really nice and I was pleased with the way the clothing fits. I've found that a lot of these brand boutiques have odd sizing, but it seemed pretty accurate here. They also have a nice selection of "last minute" items like makeup and accessories so it's a great place to start if you are shopping for a gift and have a feel of someone's personal style.
